Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat ini membahas perancangan dan pengembangan lingkungan binaan pada Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA) berbasis konsep rumah cerdas dengan studi kasus Timiomi Daycare. Fokus utama terletak pada penciptaan ruang yang aman, nyaman, dan mendukung tumbuh kembang anak usia dini melalui integrasi teknologi serta pendekatan desain yang ramah anak. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini beradaptasi dengan studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan pengelola daycare serta orang tua. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan lingkungan fisik yang didukung teknologi pintar seperti sistem monitoring keamanan, pencahayaan otomatis, dan kontrol suhu ruangan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan serta memberikan rasa aman bagi anak dan orang tua. Fasilitas dilengkapi mainan edukatif, puzzle, balok, buku cerita, dan area bermain lunak (soft play), area taman dengan permainan fisik seperti perosotan, jungkat-jungkit, dan ayunan yang aman, berujuan untuk menstimulasi motorik kasar dan halus, serta melatih interaksi sosial. Selain itu, penataan ruang yang fleksibel, pemilihan material non-toksik, serta integrasi area bermain edukatif turut menunjang perkembangan motorik dan kognitif anak. Hasil ppengabdian masyarakat  ini merekomendasikan model pengembangan lingkungan TPA yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan anak, berkelanjutan, dan mendukung sistem pengasuhan modern berbasis rumah cerdas. Kata kunci: lingkungan binaan; taman penitipan anak; rumah cerdas; desain rumah anak; timiomi daycare Abstract This community service discusses the design and development of a built environment in a Child Care Center (TPA) based on the concept of a smart home with a case study of Timiomi Daycare. The main focus is on creating a safe, comfortable space that supports the growth and development of early childhood through the integration of technology and a child-friendly design approach. The purpose of this community service is adapted from literature studies, field observations, and interviews with daycare managers and parents. The results of community service from this study indicate that the development of a physical environment supported by smart technology such as a security monitoring system, automatic lighting, and room temperature control can improve the quality of service and provide a sense of security for children and parents. The facilities are equipped with educational toys, puzzles, blocks, story books, and soft play areas, garden areas with safe physical games such as slides, seesaws, and swings, aimed at stimulating gross and fine motor skills, and training social interaction. In addition, flexible spatial planning, selection of non-toxic materials, and integration of educational play areas also support children's motor and cognitive development. The results of this community service recommend a model for developing a TPA environment that is adaptive to children's needs, sustainable, and supports a modern care system based on smart homes.Keywords: built environment; childcare; smart home; child-friendly design; timiomi daycare.

Abstract

The use of acoustic materials in the Indonesian Bethel Church Building of Musi Palem Indah Palembang is very much needed considering this building functions as a worship space. The use of a sound system and audio-visual equipment as well as sound coming from the congregation will affect the noise level produced, which is 80 to 85 dB, where the normal threshold is only 30 - 50 dB. Internal noise factor is also influenced by external noise generated from vehicles and activities that take place around the building. The choice of acoustic material used can be effective if it is in accordance with the amount of sound production or the level of noise that arises. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of acoustic materials used in Bethel Church of Indonesia Musi Palem Indah Palembang through measurement and analysis using descriptive quantitative methods. This study concludes that the acoustic material used at the Bethel Indonesia Musi Palem Indah Palembang Church is less effective in reducing noise levels, especially during the worship process.
