Abstract

Sangat penting bagi anak-anak untuk menguasai keterampilan numerasi sejak kecil untuk menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari menggunakan konsep matematika. Dibutuhkan pedagogi kreatif untuk meningkatkat kemampuan numerasi siswa salah satunya dengan permainan tradisional ular tangga. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh permainan ular tangga terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Metode. Penelitian dilakukan di Sidoarjo tepatnya di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sidokare 3 dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 30 orang, terdiri dari 4 laki-laki dan 26 perempuan yang merupakan siswa kelas 5. Data kemampuan numerasi didapatkan melalui pretest dan postest berupa soal masing-masing sejumlah 20 dengan treatment berupa permainan ular tangga selama seminggu. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample Ttest dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil. Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa ada peningkatan sebesar 27% dengan nilai t=-4.029 dengan nilai Sig (2-tailed = 0,000) < α (0.05) yang berarti ada beda antara hasil sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Haltersebut menjelaskan bahwa kemampuan numerasi dapat ditingkatkan dengan pemberian perlakuaan berupa permainan tradisional. Kesimpulan. Kemampuan numerasi siswa khususnya di sekolah dasar dapat ditingkatkan dengan pedagogi kreatif salah satunya dengan model permainan. Permainan tradisional ular tangga menjadi salah satu opsinya.

Abstract

Matematika sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang abstrak dan sulit, sehingga banyak peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep-konsepnya. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) dengan pendekatan gamifikasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada materi perkalian bilangan cacah di kelas III SDN Karangtanjung Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes tertulis berbentuk uraian, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, serta uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan IBM SPSS 23, diperoleh bahwa nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) dari uji Wilcoxon sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan RME dengan pendekatan gamifikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik.

Abstract

This article is about developing mathematics learning materials related to the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach for teaching the circle topic, with a focus on enhancing sixth-grade students’ conceptual understanding of π (Pi) at MI Ma’arif Pagerwojo. The development followed the ADDIE instructional design model. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, lesson implementation observation sheets, response questionnaires, and achievement tests. Based on expert validation, two validators rated the teaching module at 95.5% and 92.6%, the student worksheet (LKPD) at 91.6% and 94%, and the learning outcome test at 85% and 90% all falling within the "highly valid" category. Observation results of lesson implementation by both teacher and students yielded scores of 90% and 87.5%, respectively, while teacher and student response questionnaires reached 93.7% and 87%. It shows that the developed learning materials are highly practical. The effectiveness also has been proved, as 80% of students met the minimum mastery criterion (KKM), satisfying the criterion for classical completeness. These findings demonstrate that PMRI-based materials effectively facilitate students’ meaningful understanding of π through contextual learning activities. Moreover, the context of this study focused on developing instructional materials at the primary school level remains underexplored in educational development research. Thus, this study may serve as a reference for broader international mathematics education, particularly since PMRI aligns closely with the principles of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of PBL and POE models on students’s critical thinking skills in science learning for grade IV of SDN Gedangan. This study is based on the low critical thinking skills of students as a result pf teacher-centered learning and lack of innovation in learning models. This study uses a quantitative methods with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest experiment type. The sample of this study consisted of 24 students of grade IV B. Data collection used to measure students’ critical thinking skills was pretest and posttest questions. The result of the analysis showed that the questionts met valid criteria and could be used. Hypothesis testing using the wilcoxon test showed that the pretest and posttest scores had a significant differences with a value of 0.00 the test result were <0.05. This shows that the combination of PBL and POE models has an effect on students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the essential subjects that plays a vital role in developing students’ logical, analytical, and systematic thinking skills. One of the main goals of mathematics education is to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach with the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model on mathematical problem-solving abilities in division material. The subjects of the study were grade III students of SDN Gelang 1 Tulangan, Sidoarjo in the 2024-2025 academic year with a sample size of 15 students. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was a mathematical problem-solving ability test that had been validated with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.874. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the STEM approach with the Creative Problem Solving learning model on mathematical problem-solving abilities, indicated by the significance value of the paired sample t-test of 0.000 (p <0.05). The increase in students' mathematical problem-solving abilities was evidenced by an increase in the average score from 42 in the pretest to 80 in the posttest, with an increase of 38 points (90.5%). These results are in line with previous studies that also showed the effectiveness of similar approaches in improving mathematical problem-solving abilities at various levels of education. This study contributes to the development of innovative mathematical learning models for elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman seorang guru matematika dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian naratif, yang menitikberatkan pada pengalaman pribadi guru dalam menerapkan teknologi dalam kelas matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah AI, seorang guru matematika dengan pengalaman 16 tahun mengajar, yang memanfaatkan alat digital seperti proyektor dan aplikasi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat tantangan terkait keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif, mandiri, dan bersemangat dalam belajar. Namun, beberapa kendala muncul terkait dengan akses teknologi yang terbatas, terutama di rumah siswa. Peneliti menyarankan agar sekolah meningkatkan infrastruktur teknologi, memberikan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk guru, dan menyediakan bimbingan tambahan bagi siswa yang kesulitan mengakses teknologi. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik.
