Abstract

The study aims to analyze the impact of Islamic character education on social behaviour of students in public schools. With increasing attention to the importance of student moral and character development in the educational environment, Islamic character approach has become one of the methods taught in public schools. The applied Islamic character education is expected not only to enhance students' understanding of religion but also to shape positive and productive social behavior in their daily lives. The research uses a method of literary study, in which data and information are obtained through the collection of relevant sources from both books, scientific journals, articles, as well as online publications related to Islamic character education and its influence on student social behavior. Research results show that Islamic character education plays an important role in the formation and development of positive social behavior of students, which is beneficial not only to the individual students themselves but also to the environment around them, including the school community and society at large. Islamic character education not only teaches students about Islamic values but also prepares them to be responsible, empathic, and productive individuals in society.

Abstract

Social education is an important aspect in shaping individual character and instilling a sense of caring for others in society. This research uses the literature study method to examine this matter. The results reveal that the participatory approach requires students to take an active role in the learning and decision-making process, thus increasing their sense of belonging and responsibility for the surrounding environment. The collaborative approach emphasises the importance of cooperation and interaction between students through group activities that enrich communication and conflict resolution. Reflective approaches encourage students to critically review their own learning experiences, helping to develop self-awareness and personal responsibility. Technological approaches utilise digital devices and platforms to enhance the learning process and enable remote collaboration. Meanwhile, the inquiry approach encourages students to explore important questions through research, thus shaping analytical skills and the ability to investigate. By integrating these various approaches, social education can be more effective in preparing students for future global challenges. Comprehensive and dynamic social education encourages students not only to understand but also to contribute positively to social change in their society. This article asserts that social education integrated with diverse approaches can facilitate the formation of strong character and a high sense of caring, both of which are crucial in creating a just and prosperous society. Therefore, innovative and adaptive approaches need to be continuously developed in the social education curriculum to meet the needs of the times and the challenges of the future.

Abstract

This research uses a song as a research object. In the song, there are some words known as lyrics that contain a message. Through the song lyrics, the writer conveys ideas, thoughts, and feelings. This research aims to describe the form and meaning of figurative language style. This research applied Library Research with a qualitative approach and content analysis was applied as a method. The data were collected by using literature techniques, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, data validity techniques used in this study increase persistence and references. Based on the results of the research in song lyrics on the album “Tanpa Aku” the writer found that there were seven types of figurative language styles with twenty-five forms of figurative language styles. Moreover, the writer found twenty-five forms of figurative language meaning in seven kinds of language style.

Abstract

Kehidupan manusia pada dasarnya berhubungan erat dengan lingkungan alam sebab bergantung pada ekosistem yang mengklaim keberlangsungan hidupnya. Tapi saat ini kerusakan lingkungan alam sebagai gosip primer dengan berbagai kondisi yang mengancam kualitas lingkungan hidup.maka dianggap penting adanya kesadaran kesadaran ekologi pada masyarakat untuk pengelolaan lingkungan alam, dengan mempertimbangkan pemanfaatan hutan secara berkelanjutan supaya tetap lestari.hal ini bisa dengan menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam perlindungan dan pelestarian alam oleh masyarakat setempat salah satu warga lokal yang mempunyai nilai-nilai ekologi dalam kearifan lokal adalah masyarakat lokal Desa Aur Gading yang terdapat di kabupaten Bengkulu Utara..Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal konservasi lingkungan alam di Desa Aur Gading dan hubungannya pada pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nilai nilai kearifan lokal pada konservasi lingkungan alam desa aur gading, yang berdasarkan nilai religius yaitu nilai religius, adalah nilai yang menentukan manusia berhati nurani, berakhlak mulia,saleh ke salah satu arah. nilai budaya berisi petuah-petuah salah satu wujud petuah tidak boleh sembarangan mengucapkan keinginan baik secara lisan maupun dalam hati yang diyakini masyarakat aur gading. Nilai ekonomi merupakan ekonomi yang di tentukan berdasarkan aturan adat istiadat, yang mana aturan tersebut bertujuan untuk melindungi kelestarian lingkungan dan keseimbangan yang ada di daerah sekitar dan Nilai Politik .nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam konservasi lingkungan alam desa aur gading memiliki relevansi sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS yaitu sumber pembelajaran IPS di sekolah atau madrasah, yang mampu menghadapi krisis moral yang saat ini melanda generasi muda melalui pembelajaran IPS dapat membentuk karakter siswa peserta didik akan mengetahui bagaimana cara menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air dengan kearifan lokal yang ada di masyarakat..

Abstract

Activities to hone writing skills at MTsN 1 Mukomuko are still not widely implemented. In order to get students interested in writing learning activities using engaging learning materials, creative and innovative learning is required because they still struggle with writing skills and have poor writing structures. Audiovisual media is media that can display image and sound elements. The combination of these two elements is what makes audiovisual media have better capabilities. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements that encourage and discourage using audiovisual materials to teach writing persuasive essays. In order to make learning more successful, a variety of videos about persuasive text material are shown in the media. Additionally, because the media is very engaging for students, learning becomes more dynamic. This kind of study uses a qualitative descriptive method and is classified as qualitative research. Students in Class VIII A and Indonesian language teachers served as the research's subjects and informants. Techniques for gathering data included documentation, interviewing, and observation. Additionally, data reduction, data display, and conclusion-making are the steps in data analysis. The study's findings demonstrate how MTsN 1 Mukomuko's VIII A class has adopted the use of audiovisual materials to teach students how to create persuasive texts. Up till now, there has been an implementation of teaching persuasive text writing through audiovisual medium.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form and symbolic meaning of the Temu Nganten tradition in the Javanese community of Tanjung Rasa Hamlet, Tanjung Harapan Village, Ulok Kupai District, Bengkulu Utara Regency, Bengkulu Province. This tradition is part of the series of rituals in Javanese traditional wedding ceremonies, involving various media and imbued with cultural symbols and values. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation to understand the visual elements and deeper meanings of the Temu Nganten tradition. The findings reveal that the Temu Nganten tradition encompasses verbal symbols such as the chanting of Shalawat Asyraqal and Kebo Ghiro, as well as non-verbal symbols such as the balangan sirih ritual, stepping on an egg (pidhak hantiga), sindur, sembah sungkem, and dahar klimah. These symbols reflect values of loyalty, harmony, respect, and readiness to start a harmonious married life for the couple. This study emphasizes the importance of preserving the Temu Nganten tradition as part of the cultural identity of the Javanese community and as an effort to safeguard the continuity of local cultural heritage amid ongoing modernization.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of EYD Writing Errors in Student Assignments in Indonesian Language Learning Official Letters Material Class VII at MTs Roudlotur Rosmani Bengkulu City and the factors that cause EYD Writing Errors in Student Assignments in Indonesian Language Learning Official Letters Material Class VII at MTs Roudlotur Rosmani, Bengkulu City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data in this research were obtained from 15 official letters written by class VII students at MTs Roudlotur Rosmani. The results of this research show that there are three forms of EYD writing errors, namely errors in using letters, writing words, and using punctuation marks. The results of this research also found the factors that cause EYD writing errors in the task of writing official letters by class VII students at MTs Roudlotur Rosmani, namely students' low knowledge of writing rules, neglect of writing rules, students' habits of not revising the results of writing assignments, and class conditions that are not conducive.
