Abstract

This study used an experimental method that aims to determine the effectiveness of “buku pintar penulisan skripsi” in overcoming barriers to students so as to reduce student procrastination to the thesis. Respondents in this study were two students of the Faculty of Psychology UNM. The results of this study indicate that, “buku pintar penulisan skripsi” could reduce student procrastination in all aspects of the thesis, although not all aspects of a significant decline. Factors that cause changes to the thesis procrastination is not significant in every aspect is the thesis supervisor, and addicted to playing games on the students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the characteristics of the intelligence test on the Intelligentz Structure Test (IST) version 70. The study processes were carried out to examine the psychometric characteristics of each subtest on the IST, including: item difficulty index, item discrimination index, distractor effectiveness, tool reliability measuring, and construct validity. The data sources in this study are 1112 people with undergraduate educational backgrounds from several cities in Eastern Indonesia. The results of the analysis of psychometric characteristics show that in the SE subtest there are 11 items accepted, in the WA subtest there are 13 items accepted, the AN subtest shows that 17 items are acceptable, in the GE subtest shows that all the items contained in it are still eligible to be used. In the RA subtest, 18 items are eligible to be accepted, in the ZR subtest, all items are still suitable for use, in the FA subtest, which shows 18 items are acceptable. in the WU and ME subtests, it can be seen that all items contained in them are acceptable. The reliability of the IST construct shows the omega coefficient (ÏŽ) is 0.845 and the construct validity shows that the nine subtests contained in the IST fit are based on three criteria of goodness, namely RMSEA, CFI, and TLI.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore parents' difficulties and efforts in implementing homeschooling during the Covid-19 pandemic from diverse regions in Indonesia. The research was conducted twice, namely three weeks after the enforcement of Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) and ten months after that. The total participants involved were 385 parents in the first study and 105 parents in the second study in this exploratory study. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with the data collection using two open-ended questions online. The result showed that schools that had implemented online learning applications before the pandemic would make the parents, teachers, and students easier in facing homeschooling challenges. The school that never implemented online applications before the pandemic made the parents, teachers, and students notice overwhelmed by the challenges of homeschooling. Parents both actively and passively perform how to overcome homeschooling difficulties.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan manfaat permainan anak tradisional dalam membangun karakter anak. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena perubahan aktivitas bermain anak saat ini, yang lebih sering bermain permainan modern yang identik dengan penggunaan teknologi seperti video games dan games online. Akibatnya, permainan anak tradisional mulai terlupakan dan menjadi asing di kalangan anak-anak. Selain itu, tingkat kecanduan terhadap permainan modern pada anak juga tinggi sehingga berpengaruh pada kebiasaan dan perilaku anak. Tulisan berdasar studi pustaka ini menguraikan dampak yang terjadi pada anak ketika kecanduan bermain games yang berakibat pada karakter yang akan terbangun pada diri anak. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga membandingkan pengaruh permainan modern dengan permainan tradisional terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Mengembalikan permainan anak tradisional sebagai permainan anakanak saat ini dapat menjadi suatu alternatif untuk menciptakan generasi berkarakter unggul. Abstract

Hope is one of the psychological attributes that can help mothers with speech delay children in facing difficult conditions related to handling children and concerns about the children’s future. Nevertheless, study of the concept of hope in children with developmental delays context is still very limited. This study aims to produce a theoretical model of the dynamics of mothers hope of children with speech and language developmental delays, which are formulated using a grounded theory approach. The results of this study found a number factors in forming and inhibiting realistic hope, as well as theoretical explanations about the process of forming the mother's realistic hope to the child's future. This adds insight into the concept of hope in the study of psychology, as well as being the basis in formulating a number of intervention programs in handling children with speech-language developmental delay.

Abstract

This study took samples at public high schools (SMAN) Barru district, South Sulawesi which aims to examine the level of use of the TikTok application on student learning behavior and at the same time analyze whether the use of the TikTok application has a significant effect on student learning behavior at SMAN Barru Regency. The research approach used is quantitative with a correlation type of research. The population in this study amounted to 108 students with a sample of 52 students selected using the Slovin technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data collected were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study are (1) the results of the One Sample T-test test on the use of the TikTok application (X) obtained a value of 68.4% in the high category. (2) The results of the One Sample T-test test on learning behavior (Y) obtained a value of 70.3% in the good category. (3) the results of the Pearson product-moment correlation test obtained 0.410 indicate that there is a strong enough relationship. It is known that r count 0.410> r table 0.273, the Pearson correlation in this study is positive and the significance value is 0.00 <0.05, so there is a significant relationship (4) the results of the simple linear regression test show that the regression coefficient value is 0.395, so that every 1% increase in discounting, learning behavior increases by 0.395. The conclusion is that the use of the TikTok application has a significant effect on the learning behavior of students at SMAN Barru Regency, but based on the results of the coefficient of determination test obtained by R square 0.168, it was found that the level of influence was still low, namely 16.8%.

Abstract

Abstrak – Jumlah individu berkebutuhan khusus di Indonesia terus menunjukkan angka yang semakin meningkat. Sementara itu, angka partisipasi sekolah pada individu berkebutuhan khusus dengan tingkatan terendah terjadi pada kelompok umur 19-24 tahun, yaitu 12,96 persen. orang dengan keterbatasan yang dimilikinya. Pelatihan keterampilan seharusnya diberikan sesuai dengan kemampuan dan minat individu. Pemberian pelatihan keterampilan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kerja yang selanjutnya diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemandirian ekonomi individu berkebutuhan khusus, Menindaklanjuti hal tersebut, maka program PKM ini mengusulkan upaya mengembangan keluarga dengan individu berkebutuhan khusus. Didasari oleh sejumlah referensi dan hasil penelitian bahwa orangtua dan keluarga menjadi sumber dukungan terbaik bagi invidu berkebutuhan khusus, termasuk dalam mengenali potensinya. Karena itu membekali orangtua dengan keterampilan yang dapat diajarkan kepada anaknya menjadi salah satu upaya yang penting untuk dilakukan. Berawal dari orangtua, secara tidak langsung dapat membiasakan individu berkebutuhan khusus untuk menghasilkan produk-produk yang dapat dipasarkan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini berfokus kepada pembderdayaan keluarga dengan individu berkebutuhan khusus yang terbagi atas tiga tahap, yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi mulai dari menyiapkan media ajar dalam bentuk kartu dan bahan-bahan lainnya, pelaksanaan kegiatan selama 3 hari dengan menu pembelajaran yang berbeda yaitu eco print, batik shibori, dan sabun lilin minyak jelantah. latihan terhadap materi yang telah diberikan pada setiap akhir pertemuan. Pelaksanaan PKM di lakukan di lokasi mitra Sentra Wirajaya. Pada pelatihan ini terlihat bahwa meski memiliki keterbatasan, semua peserta pelatihan dapat menghasilkan karya atau produk, meski beberapa orang masih perlu mendapatkan bantuan dari orangtua, pendamping atau Peksosnya. Telihat bahwa semua peserta dapat mengikuti Langkah-langkah pengerjaan yang dicontohkan. Setiap akhir sesi pelatihan, dilakukan pameran karya. Setiap karya di dokumentasikan bersama orang yang berhasil membuatnya.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan, Keluarga, Individu Berkebutuhan Khusus.

Abstract

Abstract Background/Problem Statement : Research on authoritarian parenting style revealed that subjectivity and inability to define measurement methods had emerged as constraints, that had brought a lack of literature discussing the authoritarian parenting style. By examining this topic, various research opportunities are obtained that can be developed to cover the gaps in existing research and studies . Purpose : to analyze the challenges of literature review on the theme of authoritarian parenting and to describe several research development opportunities that can be carried out on the topic of authoritarian parenting style . Method : This literature review used bibliometric analysis from previous research data sources and review articles in the period 2018 to 2023. Result : Various studies that have been published since 2018 show various challenges faced by research on Authoritarian Parenting Style because this topic is a sensitive topic , using measurement influenced by subjective factors and challenges stemming from cultural considerations. By paying close attention to these challenges, several research development opportunities in the future must be built using a collaborative (interdisciplinary) approach with other scientific fields, so that it is possible to obtain some research results that are new and different from previous research. Conclusion : The subjective factor is the dominant cause of the limitations in carrying out research on authoritarian parenting. Therefore, it is necessary to develop research by conducting interdisciplinary research with other scientific fields . Keywords: Parenting; Authoritarian Parenting Style; Bibliometric Analyzing

Abstract

Sibling is one of the important sources of support in families with individuals with special needs, but sometimes they may not be able to fulfill their roles effectively due to various challenges and difficulties they face. This study aims to explore the challenges and difficulties experienced by siblings of individuals with special needs. A search for research articles was conducted using keywords such as "sibling experience, sibling difficulties, sibling challenges of individuals with special needs." A total of 25 journal articles obtained from Google Scholar were systematically reviewed using the Meta-synthesis Qualitative Research method. Several themes have been identified to describe the challenges and difficulties faced by siblings. Feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and sadness, jealousy, guilt, and self-blame, feeling overwhelmed, and even tendencies toward depression are some of the emotional challenges experienced by siblings. Limited social interactions, tendencies to withdraw, and concerns about bullying are some of the social challenges experienced by siblings. Challenges for siblings are closely related to difficulties in accepting and understanding their sibling's condition, the inability to balance their own needs and responsibilities towards their sibling, and difficulties in adapting to changes in their daily lives. The causes of these challenges and difficulties can stem from the condition of the sibling, parents, the sibling themselves, and the environment's response to the presence of individuals with special needs. The results of this study are expected to provide a basis for formulating further research or intervention programs to optimize the role of siblings in supporting their siblings with special needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai rumah adat Caile di Desa Pao Kecamatan Tombolo Pao Kabupaten Gowa dalam Perspektif Budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan Field Research berupa hasil wawancara, observasi langsung ke lokasi dan Library Research sebagai data pendukung yaitu mencari sumber-sumber secara tertulis yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, Caile dibagun oleh Dampangia pada tahun 1468 atau pertengahan abad 15 M. Rumah adat Caile merupakan rumah pertama yang dibangun di wilayah itu dan setiap orang yang lewat akan menoleh sehingga nama Caile diambil dari bahasa Konjo yaitu Assaile yang berarti menoleh. Kedua, fungsi rumah adat Caile pada masa kerajaan hingga masa modern, Rumah adat Caile difungsikan sebagai tempat pelantikan raja dan orang-orang yang dipercaya sebagai pelaksana tugas pemerintahan namun pada masa modern ini Caile tidak lagi menjadi tempat pelantikan raja. Ketiga, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam rumah adat Caile sebagai salah satu warisan budaya yang ikonik bagi masyarakat Pao memberikan pengaruh pada pola hidup masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, rumah adat tersebut perlu dijaga dan dipertahankan. Keyakinan masyarakat terhadap kesakralan rumah adat tersebut membuat keberadaannya menjadi salah satu warisan budaya terpenting di desa Pao Kecamatan Tombolo Pao Kabupaten Gowa.
