Abstract

This research aims to explore the considerations involved in involving parents, families and communities in children's education and development. Involving parents and families in children's education not only supports the learning process at school but also plays an important role in the formation of strong character and moral values. In addition, the role of the community as a wider social environment also has a significant impact on children's development. This article discusses various factors that are taken into consideration in optimizing parental and family involvement, such as time constraints, parents' education level and social support from the surrounding community. In this context, the importance of collaboration between schools, parents and communities will be discussed as an effort to create a supportive environment for holistic education. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for policy makers and educators in designing programs that effectively involve all three elements.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi modul ajar dalam Kurikulum Merdeka bagi anak usia dini. Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pembelajaran yang fleksibel, menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan anak, serta mengutamakan pengembangan karakter dan kemampuan dasar yang esensial. Modul ajar dirancang untuk memberikan kebebasan bagi guru dalam menentukan metode yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan individu anak. Dalam implementasinya, pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project-based learning), pembelajaran berbasis permainan, dan eksplorasi lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul ajar dalam Kurikulum Merdeka pada pendidikan anak usia dini berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan bagi anak. Selain itu, anak dapat lebih berkembang dalam aspek kognitif, motorik, sosial-emosional, dan bahasa. Namun, diperlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi pendidik agar dapat memaksimalkan potensi modul ajar ini, serta dukungan sarana yang memadai agar implementasi dapat berjalan optimal

Abstract

The need for learning facilities and infrastructure in inclusive PAUD (Early Childhood Education) is still limited. This study aims to contribute to every manager of inclusive and regular PAUD institutions in providing learning infrastructure needs for all students based on applicable standards or provisions. The research method uses a qualitative method of literature study. Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis carried out the data analysis technique, which consisted of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Data was collected from reading references such as articles, books, and inclusive PAUD POS issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. The study's results found that each characteristic of children with special needs has different needs for facilities and infrastructure. In addition, it was found that several infrastructure facilities could be designated for other different types of children with special needs characteristics, such as rooms, equipment, media, and student learning resources. The conclusion is that inclusive PAUD institutions need to provide modified infrastructure based on each characteristic of children with special needs so that they can be used inclusively.

Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers' efforts in developing early childhood language skills through the storytelling method at PAUD An-Nur in Lebong Regency. Children aged 5–6 years at this institution exhibit limited language development, such as the inability to narrate stories coherently and low participation in storytelling activities. This research employs a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and early childhood students as the main subjects. The findings show that storytelling is used by teachers to stimulate children's interest in speaking, enrich vocabulary, introduce sentence structures, improve language comprehension, and train storytelling abilities. Despite challenges such as differences in mother tongue backgrounds and low self-confidence among children, teachers manage to overcome these obstacles by creating a supportive learning environment, employing creative teaching strategies, and involving parental support. The storytelling method has proven effective in enhancing children's language abilities

Abstract

This study aims to examine character building through the pancasila student profile strengthening project at TK IT Al-Kiswah, Bengkulu City. The research subjects were classroom teachers and children from Class B III Ummar Khayyam. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the data were presented in detailed and in-depth narrative form. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that building children’s character through the pancasila student profile strengthening project at TK IT Al-Kiswah has been effective in fostering character values through learning activities with the theme “Imagination and Creativity”. This project has played an important role in instilling character values such as religiousness, honesty, responsibility, discipline, hard work, tolerance, collaboration, global diversity, creativity, faith, piety, and independence, although critical reasoning skills still need to be improved. Thus, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at TK IT Al-Kiswah has proven effective in shaping children’s character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of storytelling activities on the language skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Famili Kindergarten Bengkulu. This study is a quantitative study with an experimental method. This study was conducted by giving treatment to children in the experimental class. The number of samples in this study was 10 children, with a sampling technique where the samples taken were samples that represented the existing population. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, documentation and questionnaire statements. The existing questionnaire statement data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The existing data were tested with the Paired Sample T Test. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of storytelling activities on language skills in children aged 5-6 years, this was evidenced by the results of the Sig test value (2 tailed) 0.001 <0.05. Children's language skills increased after storytelling activities were carried out in the experimental class, while in the control class the increase was very minimal. This was evidenced by the mean value of the experimental class 74 while in the control class it was 43.6. This condition proves that the influence of children's language abilities increases when storytelling activities are given to children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Famili Kindergarten, Bengkulu

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami upaya guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini melalui metode storytelling di PAUD An-Nur Kabupaten Lebong. Anak usia 5–6 tahun di lembaga ini menunjukkan perkembangan bahasa yang masih terbatas, seperti ketidakmampuan menyampaikan cerita secara runtut dan minimnya partisipasi dalam kegiatan bercerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode field research. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan anak usia dini sebagai subjek utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa storytelling digunakan guru untuk merangsang minat berbicara anak, memperkaya kosakata, mengenalkan struktur kalimat, meningkatkan pemahaman bahasa, dan melatih kemampuan menyampaikan cerita. Meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti perbedaan latar belakang bahasa ibu dan rendahnya kepercayaan diri anak, guru mampu mengatasinya melalui lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, kreativitas dalam pembelajaran, serta dukungan orang tua. Metode storytelling terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak.

Abstract

In Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a crucial stage in children’s cognitive development, serving as the foundation for future learning. Children aged 4–6 years are in a critical period of growth in recognizing concepts, including understanding and mixing colors. However, learning activities at this stage often encounter obstacles due to the lack of creative and engaging teaching methods. One alternative approach is the use of the finge painting technique with tempra paints. This study aims to examine the effect of the tempra finger painting technique on enhancing children’s cognitive abilities, particularly in color mixing. The research employed an experimental method with observational design involving Group A children at TK Hang Tuah Bengkulu City. Data were collected through direct observation of children’s learning activities and their artworks before and after the treatment. The findings revealed significant improvement in children’s cognitive abilities, including recognizing primary colors, mixing them into new combinations, and producing simple artworks according to instructions. The finge painting activity proved to be an effective stimulus that increased learning interest, developed logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in early childhood. Therefore, the tempra finger painting technique is recommended as an innovative teaching method in early childhood education. This research also suggests that teachers and parents should utilize more interactive and enjoyable learning media to optimize children’s cognitive development from an early age.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penggunaan media daun dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Pembina Desa Simpang III Kaur Utara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media daun dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak Di TK Pembina Desa Simpang III Kaur Utara. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang “quasi Eksperimental Desigh” jenis “posttest-only Control Design”. populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengambil smpel anak umur 4-5 tahun anak di TK Negeri Pembina Kaur Utara yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlan anak 16 Orang anak, dan anak di TK Pembina Kelam Tengah di desa rigangan III yang dijadikan sebagai kelas kontrol. Dengan jumlah anak 15 orang anak. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Dari hasil peneltian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil uji paired samples test terhadap data pre test kelas eksperimen dengan post test kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media daun untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini 4-5 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina Kaur Utara Desa Simpang III

Abstract

This research raises the issue of the role of parents in accompanying children to study at home during a low-grade pandemic at RT 51 Pagar Dewa Village, Selebar District, Bengkulu City. Qualitative research methods. The research subjects in this study were parents, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Conclusion of the research results: From the results of the study it showed that the role of parents in accompanying children to study at home during a low-class pandemic in RT 51 Pagar Dewa Village, Selebar District, Bengkulu City, it can be said that some parents have completed it well, including as a facilitator for children such as providing learning tools, learning places, learning media. As a teacher, namely helping children's learning activities such as understanding material, managing children's study time, overcoming children's difficulties in learning, and providing motivation. Parents also act as educators and teachers, and as mentors.
