Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan gerak tari siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar menjadi permasalahan utama, terutama akibat metode pembelajaran yang kurang interaktif dan minimnya partisipasi aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan gerak tari Kicir-Kicir pada siswa kelas V melalui penerapan metode drill. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 siswa kelas V SDN Semanan 05 Pagi tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan gerak siswa, termasuk ketepatan gerakan, keluwesan, ekspresi, dan kekompakan kelompok. Persentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat dari 44% pada siklus I menjadi 81% pada siklus II, melebihi kriteria keberhasilan sebesar 76%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode drill efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan gerak tari sekaligus mendorong motivasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, metode drill direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang interaktif dan aplikatif dalam pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on the interpersonal communication skills of upper-grade elementary school students. The method employed is a Literature Review with a qualitative approach, analyzing 20 scholarly publications published between 2019 and 2025. The analysis results indicate that the TPS model consistently contributes positively to enhancing various aspects of interpersonal communication skills, such as speaking, listening, expressing opinions, as well as fostering cooperation, empathy, and self confidence. The three stages of the TPS model think, pair, and share create a collaborative learning environment that supports social interaction and active idea exchange.

Abstract

Literasi budaya dalam pendidikan di sekolah berperan sebagai tameng yang memperkuat karakter anak bangsa dari godaan arus globalisasi. Literasi budaya dalam pembelajaran pada sekolah di Jakarta terdapat dalam mata pelajaran muatan lokal Pendidikan Lingkungan dan Budaya Jakarta (PLBJ) yang diselenggarakan sebagai bentuk implementasi pelestarian budaya Betawi melalui pendidikan, salah satunya gambang kromong yang merupakan kesenian musik tradisional di Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan tingkat kebutuhan bahan ajar gambang kromong dalam pembelajaran PLBJ kelas V sebagai literasi budaya di sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi pustaka dengan Systematic Literature Review with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Kriteria artikel ilmiah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: a) Pentingnya literasi budaya untuk sekolah dasar di Jakarta; b) Pembelajaran muatan lokal pada sekolah dasar di Jakarta; c) Penggunaan bahan ajar dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, yang kemudian diidentifikasi dan disaring untuk menemukan penelitian dengan pembahasan yang relevan. Hasil kajian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran gambang kromong di sekolah dasar masih membutuhkan bahan ajar yang efektif, interaktif, dan mudah digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Pemilihan bahan ajar yang tepat dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang berkesan bagi guru dan peserta didik, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai.

Abstract

Environmental literacy needs to be developed from an early age because early it can foster awareness and responsible behavior towards nature. Based on observation, public concern for the environment is currently a concern for many parties. This is evidenced by the large amount of garbage scattered in the surrounding environment, one of which is in the school environment. This causes learning to become uncomfortable because of polluted air and dirty environmental conditions. This study aims to analyze students' needs for the development of ecopedagogy-based storybook media. The study used a survey with a phenomenological approach to find out the reality in the field related to the condition of the elementary school environment. The respondents of this study were 20 elementary school teachers from three different schools in Setiabudi District, South Jakarta to provide information about the potential for student environmental literacy issues and the use and acceptance of current media in supporting students' environmental concerns. In addition, 100 students were also involved to measure their environmental literacy. Each school has different characteristics according to the facilities and conditions of the school. The findings show that environmental literacy possessed by students tends to be only cognitive in nature where the knowledge score is 75.5, the cognitive skills score is 63.78, the attitude score towards the environment is 60.08, while the behavior score towards the environment is only 54.76. The results prove that the students' knowledge score is higher than the students' attitudes and behavior towards the environment. On the other hand, based on observations and interviews, 80% of students and teachers strongly agree with the development of ecopedagogy-based story books. This media is a solution to stimulate students' environmental literacy. Therefore, ecopedagogy-based story book products need to be developed to improve students' environmental literacy.Keywords: environmental literacy; story books; ecopedagogy; elementary school

Abstract

Technological developments in education demand innovation in learning media to overcome the limitations of laboratory facilities and conventional methods, especially in elementary science education. Prospective elementary school teachers need to have strong scientific literacy to support meaningful learning. This study aims to develop a Virtual Science Laboratory (VSL) as a flexible, interactive, technology-based medium to improve students' Scientific Literacy Skills (SLA). The approach used is Research and Development (R&D) with the model Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Data were collected from 120 prospective elementary school teachers in Jakarta, Indonesia, aged 21–23 years. SSC was measured through a science literacy test (pretest-posttest) and analyzed with Normalized gain (N-Gain). The results showed that VSL significantly improved scientific literacy, with an average increase of 59.4% (moderate effect size). Each aspect of SLA increased: Explanation of Scientific Phenomena (61%), Interpretation of Data & Evidence (77%), Evaluation & Experimental Design (42%), Use of Scientific Evidence (58%), and Awareness of Scientific Applications (59%). These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of VSL as an innovative solution for technology-based science learning, particularly in contexts with limited physical lab space. VSL is recommended for integration into science education curricula as a 21st-century learning approach to support the professional competency of prospective teachers.
