Abstract

Pengetahuan literasi keuangan merupakan kemampuan yang penting bagi setiap individu, khususnya ibu rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuaan  untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan dasar literasi keuangan ibu rumah tangga sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan dengan metode TATAP (tau mana kebutuhan dan keinginan; tidak ragu berinvestasi; awas saat berhutang; pintar mengelola keuangan). Penelitian ini melibatkan 30 ibu rumah tangga di Desa Segara, Kecamatan Batujaya, Kabupaten Karawang. Responden dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria ibu rumah tangga yang melakukan pemimjaman uang dari rentenir/ bank emok. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptifdanuji beda t-test. Hasil uji beda menggunakan paired samples test menemukan adanya perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan dasar literasi keuangan ibu rumah tangga sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan dengan metode TATAP. Oleh karena itu pelatihan dengan metode tatap efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan literasi keuangan ibu rumah tangga.

Abstract

This study aims at explaining the behavior of students of the biology-Jakarta State University study program on environmental preservation in the perspective of ecoliteracy and critical thinking skills. Ecoliteracy is an understanding and behavior or the action of a person towards the environment. The results of the study show that there is no effect of the interaction between ecoliteracy and thinking Skills. In addition, there is also no interaction between ecoliteracy and gender. This study supports previous relevant research and provides new empirical information that ecoliteracy and critical thinking skills are the causes of someone contributing to preserving the environment. However, the influence of ecoliteracy interactions and critical thinking skills is not significant. In addition, the interaction in the ecoliteracy and gender perspective needs to be ignored because both of them make the same contribution. Therefore, the application of ecoliteracy must begin early. The application of ecoliteracy can also be integrated into the media that are currently developing rapidly. So that at the university level, the concept of ecoliteracy has emerged in a more creative and innovative form by initiating new innovations in the more advanced environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of role differentiation and education level of the Mother's intention to overcome family problems. The method used in this research is survey with ex post facto approach and a 2x2 factorial design. The sampling technique was multistage sampling. The results of this research are: 1). There is a difference mother’s intention to overcome family problems between the higher education than the lower education, 2).There is a diference in mother’s intention to overcome family problems between clear differentiation than no clear diferentiation, 3). For mothers who have a higher level of education, the intention to overcome family problems will be higher if they have clear role differentiation than no role differentiation, 4). For mothers who have a lower level of education, the intention to overcome family problems will be lower if they have no clear diferentiation of role than a clear differentiation of role, 5) There is an interaction effect between differentiation of role and level of education to intention to overcome family problems.

Abstract

Sains is knowledge which universal and sistematic, also a collective knowledge of facts andconcepts. In this research was given a metacognitive strategies to student's environmental problemsolving in science learning. This research was aimed to find the effect of metacognitive strategies tostudent’s environmental problem solving in science learning. The population of this research wasKartika X-1 Junior High School’s students, and the sample were the seventh grade classes whichrandomly chosen. The data was collected by giving questionnaire about student's ability ofenvironmental problem solving for both of contol and experiment classes. The result were showed thatthe post-test average score of experiment class higher than the control class as much 34,37 > 24,00.The t-test showed that the result was significant at 0,000 > 0,005 which means that the metacognitivestrategies give positive effect to student’s environmental problem solving in science learning.

Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Barat merupakan provinsi lumbung tenaga kerja Indonesia yang bekerja di luar negeri. Di Provinsi Jawa Barat, Kabupaten Subang merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang menyumbang tenaga kerja Indonesia yang bekerja di luar negeri dengan jumlah yang besar. Secara nasional perkabupaten, Kabupaten Subang menempati urutan ke-11 penyumbang jumlah TKI yang bekerja di luar negeri. Berdasarkan sektor pekerjaanya, TKI asal Subang umumnya bekerja di sektor informal sebagai asisten rumah tangga. Banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh TKI selama bekerja di luar negeri seperti kekerasan fisik, keterlambatan gaji, gaji tidak dibayar dan PHK sepihak, bahkan sampai ada yang meninggal dunia. Sepulangnya dari bekerja sebagai TKI di negara lain, kehidupan mantan TKI adakalanya tidak membaik, bahkan tidak sedikit yang kembali ke kehidupan semula dengan kondisi ekonomi yang tidak lebih baik. Sehingga tidak sedikit yang kembali menjadi TKI. Pada umumnya mereka kembali menjadi TKI karena tidak memiliki keterampilan yang dapat diandalkan untuk bekerja atau menyadi sirausaha di dalam negeri. Untuk itu, kami memandang penting untuk melakukan pengabdian masyarakat yang berjudul “Pelatihan Produksi dan Usaha Cookies Berbahan Baku Lokal Sebagai Alteratif Usaha Bagi Mantan TKI (Tenaga Kerja Indonesia) di Desa Sindangsari Kecamatan Cikaum Kabupaten Subang” Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2016 bertempat di kompleks madrasah Masjid Aminah Binti Wahab, Dusun Krajan Utara Desa Sindangsari, Kecamatan Cikaum, Kabupaten Subang. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 22 orang peserta ibu-ibu mantan tenaga kerja Indonesia (TKI) yang di antaranya pernah bekerja di Abudabi, Saudi Arabia, Singapura, Taiwan dan Malaysia. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan dengan lancar dan peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai target yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this Activity is to provide good quality HOT test quality training seen from: (a) Validity and reliability of the test (b) Grain analysis to see the difficulty index and Different power. Target Audience in this activity is the teachers of SMK in Jakarta, who really interested and have the potential to develop. The number of active participants is 25 vocational teachers. The participant will then transfer the training activities to the other teachers through each school. The type of activity material is this training theory and practice, with 20% theory composition and 80% practice covering aspects of data analysis techniques with computer assistance through SPSS program and ITEMAN program. Theory is given before engaging in practical activities or integrated during the direct practice by the participants. Based on the results of the exercises made some conclusions. There are two aspects of training materials provided to teachers in Jakarta, namely the technical aspects of HOT problem making skills and aspects of ITEMAN program use. Based on the evaluation that has been implemented, from the technical aspect, this training can be quite successful. Over 90% of participants mastered the material well, this training can be quite successful. Given the time of limited service activities. Nevertheless, in general, this service activity received a positive response from the teachers especially trainees, and schools in general. In relation to the implementation of this activity, suggestions may be made: (a) For the trainee's teachers, the knowledge and skills possessed should be developed on their own. The way that can be taken for example, teaching in a relavan. (b) For the implementing team of dedication activities, to be considered for holding the same training but with more in-depth material in the coming year. The goal is to achieve the desired end goal. namely to make the professional teachers in the field. (c) It is good that teachers continue to develop practical practices in schools. ABSTRAK: Tujuan Kegiatan ini adalah Untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan kualitas tes HOT yang baik dilihat dari: (a) Validitas dan reliabilitas tes (b) Analisis butir untuk melihat indeks kesukaran dan Daya beda. Khalayak Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah para Guru SMK di Jakarta, yang betul-betul berminat dan mempunyai potensi untuk berkembang. Jumlah peserta yang aktif adalah 25 Guru SMK. Peserta itu nantinya akan mentransfer kegiatan pelatihan tersebut ke para guru yang lainnya lewat masing-masing sekolah. Jenis materi kegiatan adalah pelatihan ini teori dan praktek, dengan komposisi 20% teori dan 80% praktek yang mencakup aspek teknik analisis data dengan bantuan komputer melalui program SPSS dan program ITEMAN. Teori diberikan sebelum melakukan kegiatan praktek atau diintegrasikan selama praktek langsung oleh peserta. Berdasarkan hasil latihan yang dilakukan didapat beberapa kesimpulan, Terdapat dua aspek materi pelatihan yang diberikan terhadap para guru di Jakarta, yaitu aspek teknik keterampilan pembuatan soal HOT dan aspek penggunaan program ITEMAN. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilaksanakan, dari aspek teknik, pelatihan ini dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil. Lebih dari 90% peserta menguasai materi dengan baik, pelatihan ini dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil. Mengingat waktu kegiatan pengabdian yang terbatas. Namun demikian secara umum kegiatan pengabdian ini mendapat respons yang positif dari para guru peserta pelatihan khususnya, dan sekolah pada umumnya. Berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, saran yang dapat disampaikan: (a) Bagi para guru peserta latihan, bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah dimiliki ini hendaknya dikembangkan sendiri. Cara yang dapat ditempuh misalnya, mengajar dibidang yang relavan. (b) Bagi tim pelaksana kegiatan pengabdian, supaya dipertimbangkan untuk mengadakan pelatihan yang sama namun dengan materi yang lebih mendalam di tahun mendatang. Tujuannya adalah agar tercapainya tujuan akhir yang diharapkan. yaitu menjadikan para guru yang professional pada bidangnya. (c) Ada baiknya para guru tetap mengembangkan latihan-latihan praktik di sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Today the internet is one of the most accessible media, including by children. Parents are the closest to the child. Has the duty to exercise supervision or control over internet access by his / her child. Especially for parents who live in rural areas where the level of knowledge is generally low and the internet literacy is still limited. For that workshop is needed introduction and use of Android-based prental control application. The purposes of community service activities are: (1) to increase knowledge and awareness of parents of the importance of parenting control over internet access by their children; and (2) improving the skills of using Android-based parental control applications that can be applied in monitoring the internet access by their children. The event was held on 11 November 2017 at Kampung Sumur Bandung Cililin Village, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency. The event was attended by 30 participants. After attending the event, participants can understand the importance of parental supervision of children's internet access, especially in preventing access to pornography. In addition, participants can also operate android applications that function as parental control. ABSTRAK: Dewasa ini internet merupakan salah satu media yang banyak diakses, termasuk oleh anak-anak. Orang tua merupakan pihak yang paling dekat dengan anak. memiliki tugas untuk melakukan pengawasan atau pengendalian terhadap akses internet yang dilakukan oleh anaknya. Terlebih lagi bagi orang tua yang tinggal di pedesaan yang tingkat pengetahuan pada umumnya rendah serta literasi internetnya yang masih snagat terbatas. Untuk itu maka diperlukan workshop pengenalan dan penggunaan aplikasi prental control berbasis android. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu: (1) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran orang tua tentang pentingnya parenting control terhadap akses internet yang dilakukan oleh anaknya; dan (2) meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan aplikasi parental control berbasis android yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengawasi akses internet yang dilakukan oleh anaknya. Kegiatan telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 November 2017 bertempat di Kampung Sumur Bandung Desa Cililin Kecamatan Cililin Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 orang peserta. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan, peserta dapat memahami pentingnya pengawasan orang tua terhadap akses internet anak, khususnya dalam mencegah akses terhadap pornografi. Selain itu, peserta juga dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi android yang berfungsi sebagai parental control.

Abstract

This research is part of the standardization of the Students' Coping Strategy Scale (SCSS). This study aims to reveal the content validity, empirical validity, and reliability of the SCSS. The non-test instrument consisting of 42 statements from three dimensions: problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping, and seeking social support. Content validity analysis was carried out by experts to obtain Gregory's content validity coefficient, while the empirical validity and reliability analysis by empirically testing the instrument on 211 respondents and analyzed using the Rasch model approach. The results show that Gregory's content validity coefficient is 0.714, so it needs improvement on some items that are considered unsuitable. Empirical validity analysis using WINSTEPS software shows that three items do not fit the model. The reliability coefficient of the SCSS is 0.99. Thus, the remaining 39 items are appropriate to be used to measure students' coping strategies.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the level of coastal children eco-literacy by using storytelling about the role of mangroves for coastal communities in Serang Regency - Banten. The research methodology was classroom action research (CAR). The implementation of classroom action research was conducted of two cycles. There was cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisted of two meetings. This research involved third-grade students which consisted of 30 students in SDN Cerocoh, Serang Regency - Banten. The instrument of the research was data collecting technique, the data were observation, tests (pre-test and post-tests), and documentation. The result of this research showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ eco-literacy in pre-test and post-test after learning environmental education with mangrove storytelling. The average score of pre-test was 48.52%, while, after giving treatment in cycle I, the students average score in post-test I was 68.94%. Then, after giving treatment in cycle II, the students’ average score in post-test II was 87.17%. Based on the data the researcher concluded that: 1) there was the improvement coastal student eco-literacy by using mangrove storytelling in teaching environmental education at our environmental thematic subject 2) the students became interested and motivated in learning about mangroves.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara coping ekonomi dengan kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan coping ekonomi dengan kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 180 orang suami yang bekerja sebagai nelayan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dan diperoleh jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 119 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa coping ekonomi berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan r = -0,284 (p<0,05). Hasil ini berarti bahwa semakin mengurangi coping ekonomi maka semakin tinggi kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan dan sebaliknya semakin menambah coping ekonomi maka semakin rendah kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan keluarga dapat melakukan coping ekonomi menambah pendapatan dalam mengatasi masalah keuangan yang dihadapi dan mengurangi penggunaan coping ekonomi dengan cara mengurangi pengeluaran, sehingga kesejahteraan subjektif keluarga nelayan dapat meningkat. Kata Kunci: coping ekonomi, keluarga nelayan, kesejahteraan subjektif   ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the relationship between economic coping with the subjective well-being of fishermen's families. The hypothesis in this study is to determine whether or not there is a relationship between economic coping and the subjective welfare of fishermen's families. The population of this research is 180 husbands who work as fishermen The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique and the number of research samples is 119 respondents. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire. The results of the correlation test showed that economic coping had a significant negative relationship with the subjective welfare of fishermen's families r = -0.284 (p <0.05). This result means that the less economic coping, the higher the subjective welfare of the fishermen's family and conversely the more economic coping, the lower the subjective welfare of the fishermen's family. Thus, it is expected that families can carry out economic coping to increase income in overcoming financial problems they face and reduce the use of economic coping by reducing spending, so that the subjective welfare of fishermen's families can increase. keyword: economic coping,  fisherman families, subjective well-being
