Abstract

Many students and teachers do not know the difficulties of learning Mathematics and its factors in the story of addition and subtraction of fractions. The purpose of the study is to find out the learning difficulties and the factors that cause learning difficulties in Mathematics for the story of addition and subtraction of class V fractions. The data source was selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique is based on the Miles and Huberman Model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. Data validity using triangulation techniques. The results of the research were difficulties in learning mathematics such as difficulties in concepts, applying principles, working on verbal problems, and reading. The influencing factors are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of physiological factors such as poor physical health conditions of students and psychological factors, namely low intelligence levels, low concentration levels, poor attitudes and behaviors, lack of motivation, and lack of social interaction. Meanwhile, external factors consist of family factors, such as low parental education, lack of parental attention, and parental work. School factors, such as less varied teaching methods, not using learning media, and poor attitudes and behaviors of friends. Environmental factors around the place of residence, such as people who are indifferent to education, friends who are not peers, and jobs in the surrounding area.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Determine the influence of the PjBL learning model on student learning outcomes, 2) Determine the influence of learning interest on student learning outcomes, 3) Determine the influence of the PjBL learning model and learning interest on student learning outcomes. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with a Nonequvalent Control Group Design research design, and uses an experimental class and a control class. This research uses questionnaires and tests as the main tools for collecting data. Determining the number of samples in this research uses a sampling technique, namely census or total sampling, where the entire population is used as the research sample. The data processing techniques used are validity testing, homogeneity testing, difficulty testing, prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that there is an influence between the PjBL learning model on learning outcomes, there is an influence between interest in learning on learning outcomes, and there is an influence between the PjBL learning model and interest in learning on student learning outcomes in the Story About My Region material. This is shown by a significance value below 0.05, so there is a positive relationship between these variables.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Describe the problemsolving difficulties of solving story problems in terms of Polya's theory on the operation material of small numbers of grade V students. 2) Knowing the factors that cause problem solving difficulties in solving story problems in terms of Polya's theory on the material for the operation of whole numbers of grade V students. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and data logging cards. The research instruments used data recording cards, observations and interviews. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of descriptive analysis showed that students with difficulties in addition and division arithmetic operations according to Polya's theory had difficulty understanding the problem, making plans, implementing plans and re-examining answers. Students with difficulties in multiplication and subtraction arithmetic operations according to Polya's theory, have difficulty implementing the plan, students have not fulfilled one of the conditions for understanding the problem, and re-examining the answer. The factors that cause students' problemsolving difficulties in solving story problems on the material for counting operations of numerical numbers are, internal factors, learning attitudes and motivation to learn Mathematics. External factors, the teacher's ability to use media, classroom atmosphere, parental or family assistance, and community environment.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) di kalangan guru sekolah dasar masih menjadi kendala dalam mendukung pembelajaran inovatif berbasis digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas penyadaran dan pelatihan AI dalam meningkatkan kesiapan guru SD Muhammadiyah Kemiri memanfaatkan AI untuk pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket respon guru. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan keterlibatan guru berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata capaian observasi sekitar 73 persen, serta respon angket sangat tinggi sebesar 85,8 persen. Guru menunjukkan motivasi kuat dan sikap positif terhadap penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran, walaupun kemampuan teknis mandiri masih memerlukan penguatan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan penyadaran dan pelatihan AI dinilai efektif meningkatkan kesiapan guru sekolah dasar. Namun demikian, diperlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan agar pemanfaatan AI dapat berlangsung optimal, beretika, dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung kualitas pembelajaran digital di sekolah dasar melalui kolaborasi guru, sekolah, dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan secara berkesinambungan nasional dan lokal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of reading corners on the literacy skills of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative research method Pre-Experimental Design with the type of One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subjects of this study were all fifth grade students of Bajangrejo State Elementary School, totaling 12 students. The data collection technique was in the form of a test. The sample used was the total sample. The data analysis used was in the form of descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests and parametric statistical hypothesis tests. in paired form sample t- test using SPSS 26. The results of this study obtained an average pretest value of 43.33 and a posttest of 71.25. Based on the results of the hypothesis test using Paired Sample T- Test obtained information that the calculated t value obtained -5.786 > t table 2.20099 and the significance value in the Sig column. (2-tailed) 0.000 which means 0.000 < 0.05, then it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This study shows that the use of reading corners has a positive and significant influence on the literacy skills in Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the application of the Teams Games Tournament model on story problems on the material of the perimeter of flat shapes that will increase group activity in fifth-grade students of Wonotulus State Elementary School. 2) Increase group activity in fifth-grade students at Wonotulus State Elementary School by implementing the Teams Games Tournament model. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects are fifth-grade students of Wonotulus State Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year with a total of 13 students. Data collection techniques and instruments used include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results of the study show that 1) the implementation of learning in cycle I obtained a percentage of 69.99% with a good category, increasing in cycle II obtained a percentage of 88.56% with a very good category. 2) Student group activity in Cycle I was 25.87%, categorized as very poor, and in Cycle II, it was 88.13%, categorized as very good. Therefore, the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament model can improve student group activity in story problems on the perimeter of plane figures in fifth grade at Wonotulus Elementary School.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Sosial dan Emosional memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan holistik siswa dengan membantu mereka mengenali dan mengelola emosi, membangun hubungan positif, serta membuat keputusan yang bertanggung jawab. Namun, implementasinya pada pendidikan dasar di Indonesia masih terbatas karena pembelajaran cenderung berfokus pada pencapaian kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi aktivitas mindfulness melalui musik instrumental dalam pembelajaran serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap perkembangan sosial dan emosional siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di kelas 3 SDN Tunggulrejo. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari satu guru dan empat siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data dijamin melalui triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas mindfulness diimplementasikan sebagai strategi pengkondisian emosional sebelum pembelajaran melalui kegiatan mendengarkan musik instrumental, latihan pernapasan, refleksi, dan afirmasi positif. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan regulasi emosi, interaksi sosial, konsentrasi, dan keterlibatan siswa sehingga menciptakan lingkungan kelas yang lebih kondusif serta kesiapan belajar yang lebih baik.
