Abstract

The traditional Javanese songs created by Sunan Kalijaga, especially Lir ilir and Kidung Rumekso ing Wengi, have tremendous philosophical depth when associated with Javanese culture. Therefore, this research aims to explore and analyze the philosophical meaning contained in the two previous songs and find out how the spiritual messages in these songs are still relevant to the state of society in the modern era. This research uses Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis to find out the deeper meaning of the text, not forgetting to also use the cultural context approach, to minimize irrelevant interpretations. For data validation, this research uses the triangulation method, where the data comes from interviews, historical records, and direct observation. In practice, the point is to explore the messages contained in the two songs, which are all sourced from the lyrics of these songs and the opinions of experts. The results show that both songs contain philosophical teachings on how to achieve wisdom and peace in every episode of human life. They also teach about the importance of establishing a good relationship with God. In addition, this study also revealed that the spiritual messages in these two songs are still relevant as a reflection of the spiritual journey of everyone in the modern era.

Abstract

Musik memiliki peran yang sama penting dengan khotbah di dalam berjalannya suatu ibadah. Berkembangnya zaman, gereja pun berkembang ke semua penjuru dunia dan mengalami inkulturasi budaya musik. Gereja HKBP juga mengalami inkulturasi budaya, alat musik Jawa (Keroncong) yaitu Cak dan Cuk dipilih untuk mengiringi ibadah 17.30 di HKBP Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan gereja HKBP Yogyakarta menerapkan alat musik tradisional Cak dan Cuk dengan alat musik modern pada peribadatan 17.30 dan proses penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk memperoleh data penelitian. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada gereja HKBP Yogyakarta tentang penerapan alat musik Cak dan Cuk dengan alat musik modern dalam peribadatan. Dapat disimpulkan alasan penerapan alat musik tradisional Cak dan Cuk dikarenakan adanya program kerja pemusik pada setiap minggu ke-5 yang menerapkan ibadah etnik. Penerapan musik Cak dan Cuk dengan alat musik modern dapat menciptakan nuansa ibadah etnik Jawa yang cukup dan tidak terlalu susah untuk diterapkan. Kekurangan SDM dan alat mempengaruhi performa penyajian musik iringan ibadah pada ibadah etnik Jawa. Kata kunci: Musik tradisional, Cak Cuk, Musik gereja, Peribadatan, HKBP Yogyakarta AbstractMusic has an equally important role as the sermon in the course of a service. As time progressed, the church expanded to all corners of the world and experienced inculturation in musical culture. The HKBP Church also experienced cultural inculturation, Javanese musical instruments (Keroncong), namely Cak and Cuk, were chosen to accompany the 17.30 worship service at HKBP Yogyakarta. This research aims to find out the reasons why the HKBP Yogyakarta church uses traditional Cak and Cuk musical instruments with modern musical instruments in the 17.30 worship service and the implementation process. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to obtain research data. This research can provide knowledge to the HKBP Yogyakarta church about the application of Cak and Cuk musical instruments with modern musical instruments in worship. It can be concluded that the reason for using the traditional Cak and Cuk musical instruments is because there is a work program for musicians every 5th week that implements ethnic worship. The application of Cak and Cuk music with modern musical instruments can create a sufficient nuance of Javanese ethnic worship and is not too difficult to implement. Abstract

Di era digital dan perkembangan media sosial, TikTok menjadi platform yang populer untuk berbagi konten kreatif dalam pemasaran digital. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan musik viral sebagai elemen kunci dalam mencapai daya tarik pada konten TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis upaya meningkatkan Brand Awareness pada konten TikTok yang dihasilkan oleh Widya Robotics melalui penggunaan musik viral. Brand Awareness bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keberhasilan pemasaran dari segi eksposur dan interaksi audiens terhadap merek. Konten diunggah pada akun TikTok Widya Robotics dengan penulis sebagai divisi Social Media Specialist. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal yaitu studi tentang kekhususan dan kompleksitas suatu kasus, untuk memahami aktivitasnya dalam keadaan penting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan musik viral secara efektif dapat meningkatkan Brand Awareness konten TikTok Widya Robotics. Terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam jumlah tampilan, interaksi, dan keterlibatan audiens setelah implementasi strategi ini.Kata kunci: musik viral, brand awareness, tiktok, media sosialAbstractViral Music in Enhancing Brand Awareness on TikTok Content. In the digital era and the development of social media, TikTok has become a popular platform for sharing creative content in digital marketing. This research focuses on utilizing viral music as a key element in achieving traction on TikTok content. This research aims to explore and analyze efforts to increase Brand Awareness on TikTok content produced by Widya Robotics through the use of viral music. Brand Awareness aims to describe marketing success in terms of audience exposure and interaction with the brand. The content is uploaded on Widya Robotics' TikTok account with the author as the Social Media Specialist division. This research uses a qualitative method with a single case study approach, which is a study of the specificity and complexity of a case, to understand its activities in important circumstances. The results showed that effective utilization of viral music can increase Brand Awareness of Widya Robotics' TikTok content. There was a significant increase in the number of views, interactions, and audience engagement after the implementation of this strategy.Keywords: viral music, brand awareness, tiktok, social media

Abstract

This study addresses a pedagogical challenge in higher education, namely the lack of instructional materials for guitar ensemble courses. This issue has been identified in the Music Department of ISI Yogyakarta, where students encounter difficulties engaging with classical Western music materials due to unfamiliarity, particularly among those without prior training in formal music education or vocational music programs. To mitigate this challenge, arrangements of Indonesian national songs are introduced as a strategic approach, leveraging their familiarity to enhance student engagement and motivation in ensemble practice. This study arranges Bangun Pemudi Pemuda, a national song selected for its rhythmic and melodic qualities that lend themselves well to classical guitar ensemble performance. The arrangement employs four distinct voices, mirroring choral harmonization. A key innovation in this arrangement is the incorporation of the dodecaphonic scale, designed to introduce students to modern arrangement techniques, specifically the twelve-tone series. This research adopts an artistic research methodology, encompassing the arrangement process and its implementation in guitar ensemble classes. The qualitative dimension is examined through focus group discussions (FGDs), literature reviews, and classroom observations, fostering dialogue and interaction. This study aims to develop instructional materials that support students in cultivating classical guitar proficiency, ensuring that the applied techniques contribute to their technical advancement while utilizing national songs as an accessible entry point for learning.

AbstrakMateri pembelajaran ensemble gitar di perguruan tinggi seni di Indonesia hingga saat ini masih menggunakan repertoar komposer internasional dengan jumlah terbatas. Penerapan materi pembelajaran yang sama setiap semester tidak hanya membosankan bagi mahasiswa tetapi juga bagi dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya repertoar pembelajaran ensemble gitar melalui pembuatan aransemen dari konten lokal dalam hal ini adalah Suwe Ora Jamu dari Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian terapan ini adalah metode kualitatif. Objek penelitian meliputi tempat penelitian, yaitu kampus Jurusan Musik FSP ISI Yogyakarta, dan responden, yaitu mahasiswa ansambel gitar. Kegiatannya adalah menyusun dan melatih hasil aransemen. Sedangkan subjek penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri. Tahap penelitian dimulai dengan cara menemukan dan memilih lagu daerah Indonesia untuk menyusun dan mengatur lagu, kemudian melatih mahasiswa untuk bermain aransemen, dan tampil dalam simulasi konser belajar di kelas. Abstract

Pola ritme merupakan elemen musik utama yang berkaitan langsung dengan gerakan waktu dalam musik, di mana waktu selalu bergerak dan mengatur kestabilan rasa musikal. Pola ritme sangat mentukan ketepatan hitungan dalam permainan gitar tunggal, dan bermain anasambel gitar. Pola ritme merukan objek material penelitian sedangkan proses pelatihan pola rime dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah instrumen gitar merupakan objek formal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengupulan data triangulasi, sedangkan proses analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah strategi latihan pola ritme yang disesuaikan dengan tanda sukat yang ada pada materi yang berupa lagu yang akan dilatih dengan instrumen gitar. moving and regulating musical stability.
