Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: (1) Pengaruh motivasi berprestasi secara langsung terhadap pembelajaran praktik pemesinan, (2) Pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan fasilitas bengkel secara langsung terhadap kompetensi pemesinan siswa, (3) Pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan fasilitas bengkel secara tidak langsung melalui pembelajaran praktik pemesinan terhadap kompetensi pemesinan siswa. Metode ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif variabel, pengujian persyaratan analisis dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi berprestasi dan fasilitas bengkel secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap pembelajaran praktik pemesinan, (2) Terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi berprestasi, fasilitas bengkel, dan pembelajaran praktik pemesinan secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi pemesinan, (4) Terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi berprestasi dan fasilitas bengkel secara tidak langsung dan signifikan melalui pembelajaran praktik pemesinan terhadap kompetensi pemesinan kelas XII siswa SMK Teknik Pemesinan di Kabupaten Bantul.

Abstract

The application of physical distancing policies to reduce the spread of the covid19 virus changed learning activities from face-to-face models to online learning models. Online lectures, even if they are held online, must pay attention to the quality of learning so that learning outcomes are met. This research was conducted to find out (1) the effect of online learning quality on learning outcomes, (2) the effect of student satisfaction levels on learning outcomes, (3) the effect of online learning quality and student satisfaction levels on learning outcomes during pandemic covid19. The respondents of this study were 34 Vocational Learning Media students. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis technique for the first and second hypotheses and multiple regression analysis for the third hypothesis. The results showed there was an influence of the quality of online learning on learning outcomes with t arithmetic higher than the t table (3.024> 1.65) or p (0.01 <0.05). The student satisfaction level has a significant influence on learning outcomes with t arithmetic higher than the t table (2.571> 1.65) or p (0.01 <0.05). Based on the results of the analysis showed that the coefficient of determination X1 and X2 to Y amounted to 0.155. The results of the analysis show that the variables of the Online Learning Quality and Satisfaction Level have a contributing effect on Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This research is action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research aims to improve the quality of the learning process. The Discovery learning method is used to improve the quality of learning. Stages of learning discovery methods consist of simulations, problem statements, data collection, verification, and generalization. Student learning activities are measured using an observation sheet. Student learning outcomes are measured using achievement tests in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data obtained in the study were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Data obtained from observations and achievement tests are used as a basis for improvement in the next cycle. The results of this study, discovery learning methods can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, students in the very active and active category were 63% and increased in the second cycle to 97%. In the first cycle, mastery learning reached 69% and increased in the second cycle to 87%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) formulate the steps to develop a computer-aided training and assessment packages for the learning materials of precision mechanical measuring devices, (2) obtain a computer-aided training and assessment packages that are applicable for use in the learning process. The research type is Research and Development (R&D), which was referred to the Borg & Gall model modified by Sukmadinata (2009), and the model developed by Sugiyono (2011). The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. The data collection were using questionnaire instruments and computer-aided training and assessment packages. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The steps in developing computer-aided training and assessment packages are preliminary studies, production, product evaluation, and dissemination; (2) The developed computer-aided training and assessment packages are suitable for use in the learning process based on the expert validation and students' responses. The validation from the material learning experts resulted in a mean score of 4.46 (excellent category); validation from the assessment experts obtained a mean score of 4.41 (excellent category), and validation from the learning media experts obtained a mean score of 4.55 (excellent category). The mean score of students' responses in the beta test was 4.06 (good category), and the mean score in the summative evaluation was 4.00 (good category).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) merumuskan langkah-langkah pengembangan paket latihan dan penilaian berbantuan komputer untuk materi pembelajaran alat ukur mekanik presisi, (2) mendapatkan paket latihan dan penilaian berbantuan komputer yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah research and development (R&D), mengacu pada model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sukmadinata (2009) dan model yang dikembangkan Sugiyono (2011). Lokasi penelitian di SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, serta paket latihan dan penilaian berbantuan komputer. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Langkah-langkah pengembangan paket latihan dan penilaian berbantuan komputer dilakukan melalui empat tahap, yaitu studi pendahuluan, produksi, evaluasi produk, dan diseminasi; (2) Paket latihan dan penilaian berbantuan komputer yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan validasi ahli dan tanggapan siswa. Validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh rerata skor 4,46 dengan kategori sangat baik; validasi oleh ahli evaluasi memperoleh rerata skor 4,41 dengan kategori sangat baik; dan validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh rerata skor 4,55 dengan kategori sangat baik. Rerata skor tanggapan siswa pada beta test adalah 4,06 dengan kategori baik, dan rerata skor pada evaluasi sumatif adalah 4,00 dengan kategori baik

Abstract

Vocational education aims to prepare students to acquire knowledge and skills as provisions for work. The involvement of all aspects of students, both physical and spiritual, is needed to achieve the learning objectives. It shows that each student must be actively involved in the learning process. Creativity is an essential component of learning and problem-solving. Creative learning is related to cognitive development and the process of discovering and creating something new. This research was conducted to determine the effect of student learning activities and student creativity on learning achievement, both independently and simultaneously. The subjects of this study were students of class XI AP2 SMK Bina Dhirgantara Karanganyar. The data collection technique used tests and observations. Data analysis techniques used simple regression for the first and second hypotheses (independent effect) and multiple regression analyses for the third hypothesis (simultaneous effect). The results showed that student learning activities significantly affect learning achievement with a value of t arithmetic of 3.909, a higher value than the t table of 1.69. Student creativity significantly affects learning achievement, with the t arithmetic value of 4.281, higher than the t table of 1.69. The multiple regression analysis results showed that the coefficient of determination X1 and X2 against Y was 0.477 or 47.7%. It shows that the variables of student learning activities and student creativity have a contributing influence on learning achievement.

Abstract

The demand for increasingly diverse product designs and specifications in the manufacturing industry requires  Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operators to have high technical skills and strong self-efficacy and creativity. High self-efficacy allows operators to be more confident in applying their technical skills, while creativity helps them solve problems and challenges during the production process. This study aims to improve students' self-efficacy and creativity by applying the Peer-Project Based Learning (Peer-PjBL) model, which combines aspects of project-based learning with peer-to-peer learning. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which consists of two implementation cycles. Each cycle involves planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 20 students who took the CNC Machining Technology course at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured self-efficacy and student creativity indicators and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that applying the Peer-PjBL method significantly increased students' self-efficacy and creativity in each research cycle. This improvement can be seen in students' ability to face new challenges independently, as well as their ability to generate diverse creative ideas in solving problems. This research makes an important contribution to the development of learning methods in vocational education by emphasizing the improvement of technical abilities and non-technical skills, such as self-efficacy and creativity, which are needed in the modern world of work.

Abstract

Education abroad has become a choice for Indonesian students to get the best education. Malaysia is one of the most popular international education destinations among Indonesians. Thousands of Indonesian students have chosen Malaysia to gain academic experience. This study aims to reveal how the experience of studying abroad, especially in Malaysia, affects the nationalist views of Indonesian students. This research method uses a case study focusing on Indonesian students studying at the International Islamic University Malaysia. The data collection method uses a questionnaire to measure Nationalism and contribution to the country. Students studying abroad face challenges and opportunities that can affect their perspective as Indonesian citizens. Some things that can affect their perspective include the quality of education, employment opportunities with high wages, and excellent public facilities. The results of the data analysis show that Indonesian students in Malaysia have an increased sense of Nationalism even though they have good opportunities to stay in Malaysia. This research provides insights into how Nationalism grows even when living abroad. The results of this study can be the basis for the Indonesian government to design programs that can support education and employment opportunities for Indonesian students studying abroad. Researchers can conduct further research to comprehend the long-term impact of international education on the nationalistic views of Indonesian students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pengembangan produk olahan singkong dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan kemandirian ekonomi kelompok Ibu-Ibu PKK Dusun Kepuh, Desa Pacarejo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Meskipun singkong memiliki potensi besar sebagai komoditas lokal, pemanfaatannya oleh mitra masih belum optimal. Beberapa tantangan utama yang dihadapi antara lain produksi yang masih dilakukan secara manual, mutu produk keripik singkong yang belum konsisten, dan kesulitan dalam memasarkan produk ke pasar yang lebih luas. Program ini mencakup serangkaian pelatihan yang meliputi pengoperasian mesin perajang singkong untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, teknik pengolahan keripik dengan berbagai varian rasa guna meningkatkan kualitas produk, serta teknik pengemasan yang menarik dan fungsional. Selain itu, peserta juga dibekali dengan keterampilan pemasaran digital, mencakup pembuatan akun di platform e-commerce dan pembuatan iklan yang efektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasaitas produksi sebesar 60% dan transaksi pemasaran sebesar 25%. Diharapkan program ini dapat memberdayakan komunitas lokal dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan program memerlukan dukungan berkelanjutan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, dan sektor swasta
