Abstract

Kelurahan Muara Rapak merupakan kawasan industri, kawasan pertahanan dan keamanan, serta ruang terbuka hijau yang terletak di kota Balikapapan Kalimantan Timur. Secara spesifik, kawasan Muara Rapak merupakan lokasi padat penduduk dengan lahan kosong yang minim sehingga diperlukan penggunaan lahan seoptimal mungkin. Upaya pemanfaatan lahan kosong menjadi lahan produktif di Kelurahan Muara Rapak Rukun Tetangga 07 telah dilakukan melalui sistem hidroponik, namun sistem ini dinilai tidak optimal dalam pemanfaatan lahan kosong karena hanya menghasilkan panen berupa sayuran, sehingga diperlukan sistem lain yang dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal. Sistem Akuaponik merupakan sistem yang menggabungkan metode hidroponik dan akuakultur, dimana sistem ini merupakan alternatif menanam sayur dan memelihara ikan dalam satu wadah tanpa perlu menyedikan lahan tambahan/memperluas lahan. Sistem ini cocok untuk dikembangkan pada daerah sasaran dikarenakan masyarakat memiliki kendala luas lahan dan telah banyak mengetahui mengenai budidaya ikan dan metode hidroponik. Pembuatan model akuaponik serta sosialisasi tentang teknik dan tatacara sistem akuaponik dilakukan pada daerah sasaran untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan selama enam bulan dan menghasilkan model akuaponik yang dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat sekitar, sosialisasi juga telah dilakukan dengan menghadirkan masyarakat daerah sasaran, selain itu dibuat pula media sosial yang berisi seluruh infrormasi pengembangan akuaponik.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan proyek konstruksi di Indonesia telah mendorong perkembangan industri jasa konstruksi yang membutuhkan tenaga kerja dengan kinerja yang tinggi. Faktor-faktor seperti K3, disiplin, dan beban kerja memengaruhi kinerja pekerja dan pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian dilakukan di Proyek Gedung Laboratorium Terpadu II ITK untuk mengevaluasi dampak K3, disiplin, dan beban kerja terhadap kinerja pekerja menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa K3 dan beban kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pekerja, dengan nilai t hitung masing-masing 2,272 dan 2,084, serta nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 (0,03 dan 0,046). Namun, disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan dengan nilai t hitung (1,415) t tabel (2,040) dan nilai signifikansi 0,167 0,05. Secara keseluruhan, uji secara simultan menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pekerja, dengan nilai f hitung (18,475) f tabel (2,901) dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 0,05. Melalui uji IPA, telah diidentifikasi 10 sub-variabel prioritas utama untuk membantu perusahaan meningkatkan kinerja pekerja.

Abstract

Pantai Seraya merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata pantai yang berada di Kelurahan Sepinggan Raya, Kecamatan Balikpapan Selatan, Kota Balikpapan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pihak RT dan masyarakat setempat, terdapat beberapa isu permasalahan yang terdapat pada destinasi wisata Pantai Seraya. Isu permasalahan yang ada yaitu, terdapat banyaknya jalan masuk ke kawasan Pantai Seraya dan tidak terdapat adanya petunjuk arah menuju pantai, sehingga dapat membingungkan beberapa pengunjung yang baru mengunjungi Pantai Seraya dan kurangnya fasilitas penunjang bagi para pengunjung serta masih kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terkait kebersihan pantai. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan pengembangan fasilitas yang ada. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dan survei. Observasi dan wawancara dilakukan untuk melihat permasalahan yang terjadi, sedangkan survei dilakukan untuk mengukur apakah kegiatan yang dilakukan memberikan dampak atau pengaruh terhadap pengembangan wisata Pantai Seraya. Hasilnya adalah membuat penunjuk jalan menuju kawasan pantai pada beberapa simpangan. Untuk permasalahan fasilitas penunjang dan kebersihan, dilakukan pembuatan tempat sampah, sosialisasi terkait permasalahan sampah dan cara pengolahan sampah yang baik di sekitar pesisir pantai, pembuatan kursi dan papan informasi, serta peta infografis Pantai Seraya. Sarana prasarana pendukung sekitar Pantai Seraya semakin meningkat dan diharapkan menambah kunjungan wisatawan dan kesadaran masyarakat di Pantai Seraya.

Abstract

The Student Program Mengabdi Desa (PMMD) is an initiative that allows students to be actively involved in community service activities, with the main goal of empowering them through hands-on experience in interacting with communities at the local level. One of the focal points of this program is Posyandu RT. 34 Sepinggan Baru which is located in Sepinggan Baru Urban Village, South Balikpapan District. This Posyandu faces a number of problems which include the lack of optimization of existing resources, safety issues for children, as well as deficiencies in terms of aesthetics and comfort of existing facilities. Seeing these conditions, the step taken is to propose a solution in the form of improving the quality of Posyandu facilities and infrastructure. This will include the construction of a reading corner that is expected to increase the reading interest of Posyandu children and the surrounding community, the implementation of a waste sorting system to increase environmental awareness, as well as physical improvements that include covering drainage and rearranging the layout of the building. The main objectives of this activity are to improve the services provided by Posyandu, stimulate literacy interest among children, and increase environmental awareness in the local community. The expected output targets are the writing of a journal documenting the process and results of Posyandu improvements, the making of an aftermovie that visualizes the activities and their impact, and articles published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) that summarize the overall process and results that have been achieved in order to provide useful information for related parties and the general public.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan is a SMA/SMK equivalent level school that has the most classroom facilities in the entire City of Balikpapan. However, there was some damage to the classrooms caused by several factors such as the age of the building, natural factors, planning factors and others. So that the quality of the building will certainly affect the condition of the classroom and the comfort of the classroom users. Based on these problems, the solution that can be done is to carry out maintenance of the classroom building in order to maintain the function of the classroom and the condition of the classroom building remains functional and provide a sense of security and comfort for classroom users. This study aims to determine the building components that need to be reviewed for maintenance of the classrooms of SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan, especially those that affect the condition of the classrooms and the comfort of classroom users, namely for students and teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Balikpapan. The method used in this research is to conduct a literature study, a preliminary survey by conducting observations and interviews with experts in the field of building construction and analysis using the calculation of item scores on the cut-off value of the building maintenance variable indicators. The results of the analysis show that the cut-off value obtained is 3.30 points with 14 relevant maintenance variables and indicators affecting classroom conditions and classroom user comfort, including architectural components (X1) with 6 indicators, structural components ( X2) with 2 indicators, mechanical components (X3) with 2 indicators, electrical components (X4) with 3 indicators and outdoor building components (X5) with 1 indicator. Then there is the variable indicator of classroom maintenance which has a level of relevance with the highest score obtained on the indicators of ceiling maintenance (X11), door and window maintenance (X12) and wall maintenance (X22), with a score of 4.4 pointsKey words: Building Maintenance, Classrooms, Classroom Users

Abstract

The construction projects for Buildings C and D were delayed in construction process due to financial constraints in completing building construction and the project was re-implemented so that the two buildings were classified as Construction in Progress. Efforts are made to avoid obstacles by carrying out effective risk management. Therefore, all projects require proper risk management. On the basis of these events, risk management is carried out with the aim of knowing the risks that may occur, knowing the level of risk, and knowing the dominant risk response in the construction project of Buildings C and D of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology. The method in this study uses Severity Index method in analyzing risk variables with the Guttman scale used to determine the relevance of a risk variable. Then do an analysis of the response to the dominant risk. In the correlation test, 40 indicators were found that were relevant and 4 that were irrelevant. The validity test shows 7 invalid indicators. The results obtained are 6 indicators of risk that are dominant to the value of the likelihood and impact matrix labelled "high" risk. The risk response in this study is to seek supervision of the budget specified in the contract, carry out reliable material estimation calculations, the procurement department is required to identify places for replacement materials, make re-engineering arrangements for work execution sequences, and depend on professional distributors and forwarders, ensuring experienced project employees, working drawings have clear information, and prioritizing outdoor work.

Abstract

Along with the increasing age of a building, maintenance activities become things that need to be done to minimize damage that occurs such as damage to the ceiling or ceramics. Therefore, this study aims to determine the priority of building elements in the treatment of architectural components in buildings A and B ITK campus using Profile Matching method. Based on the results of analysis and observations in the field, the elements that are the main priority in the architectural component of Building A are ceiling elements, the second priority element is sanitary elements, the third priority element is floor elements and door and window elements, the fourth priority element is painting elements, and the last priority element is Wall pair elements. Whereas in the architectural component of Building B, the main priority elements are ceiling elements and sanitary elements, the second priority element is the wall pair element, the third priority element is the floor element and the door and window element, and the last priority element is the painting element.

Abstract

Efforts are essential to reduce emissions and environmental damage from construction activities, such as applying green concepts throughout the construction process. Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) is a sustainable development initiative in East Borneo that adopts these green concepts. Specifically, the Gedung Laboratorium Terpadu II at ITK was planned as a green building but hadn't undergone an assessment. This study assessed the building using the Greenship New Building Version 1.2 tool, revealing that it scored 25 points (24.75%), falling short of green building status. Recommendations for improvement included increasing vegetation, implementing energy and water efficiency measures, sourcing alternative water supplies, enhancing lighting systems, and improving waste treatment. These changes could elevate the building's green status to gold, with a 59.41% score.
