Abstract

Watchkeeping is guard work carried out on ships or in ports to create situations and conditions to be safe and under control for 24 hours carried out with the aim of work affairs in order to create safety and security while on duty. Hasil Melimpah 18 Vessel is classified as a fishing vessel of a special type only to accommodate fish cargo and does not carry out fishing operations. In an effort to achieve the goal of watchkeeping, a study is carried out related to the evaluation of the activities of the watchkeeping in the operation of the machine. From the results of observations, it is necessary to increase the activities of the watchkeeping in the operation of the main engine. This needs to be done to improve the performance before and after the machine is operated, and the watchkeeping when the machine is operating. The increase in the activities of the watchkeeping in the operation of the main engine can be done by several improvements, such as in the preparation, operation, and watchkeeping duty activities. In preparation activities, it is necessary to increase the availability of OHS equipment, logbooks, and spare parts as needed. In operating activities, it is necessary to increase the availability of OHS equipment, communication tools, and electrical panels. In watchkeeping duty activities, it is necessary to increase the availability of the watchkeeping schedule, machine daily journals, and measuring tools. Periodic control while the machine is operating is very important. The watchkeeper must have a big responsibility because machine damage can occur if the duty officer on duty commits negligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan GMP dan SSOP pada proses pengolahan tuna loin. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai juli 2021 di Unit Pengolah Ikan di Nusa Tenggar Timur. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan studi kasus dan observasi langsung proses pengolahan, mulai dari penerimaan bahan baku hingga pemuatan. Metode analisa data dilakukan dengan analisa deskriptif. Pengamatan dilakukan pada tahapan proses pengolahan tuna loin, penereapan rantai dingin, mutu bahan baku dan mutu produk, penerapan GMP dan SSOP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan proses pengolahan tuna loin sesuai dengan alur proses pada SNI  4104-2015 tuna loin beku, penerapan rantai dingin telah dilakukan dnegan baik dengan suhu bahan baku ikan tuna dibawah 4?C. Hasil pengujian organoleptik bahan baku dan produk akhir adalah 8, hasil uji mikrobiologi  5,4 x 103  koloni/gram sudah sesuai dengan SNI dan hasil uji organolpetik produk akhir adalah 8, hasil uji mikrobiologi sesuai dengan SNI SNI 4104:2015. Unit Pengolahan Ikan telah menerapkan GMP dan SSOP dengan baik. Kata Kunci : GMP dan SSOP, mutu, Suhu, Tuna Loin

Abstract

Potensi ikan kakap berdasarkan nilai produksi di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur dalam kurun waktu lima tahun (2012 sampai 2016), yaitu sebesar Rp376.826.278.152,00 dengan harga jual sebesar Rp19.550,00/ Kg. Berdasarkan data tersebut perikanan kakap di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur memiliki potensi yang sangat besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan keterkaitan antara kondisi oseanografi dengan hasil tangkapan ikan kakap dan mengetahui daerah penangkapan ikan Kakap di perairan Kupang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September – November di Kelurahan Oesapa.  Metode survey dilakukan dengan mengambil data hasil tangkapan dan titik koordinat daerah penangkapan ikan pada pengoperasian alat tangkap jaring insang yang berpangkalan di Kelurahan Oesapa. Suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil a diperoleh melalui citra satelit. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan untuk suhu permukaan laut, jumlah hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada kisaran suhu 25.64 °C - 26.38°C, sedangkan untuk krolofil a  untuk jumlah hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada kisaran 0.241 – 0.304 mg/L. Daerah penangkapan ikan dengan jumlah terbesar pada titik koordinat 10°04'122'' LS - 123°40'664'' BT, sedangkan hasil tangkapan kakap terendah pada titik koordinat 10°02'459'' LS - 123°39'855'' BT.Kata Kunci:    Kakap, Jaring Insang, Suhu Permukaan Laut, Klorofil a, Hasil Tangkapan, Daerah Penangkapan Ikan

Abstract

Fish must be given a good treatment or handling so that the quality and quality does not decrease, the application of a principle of handling quickly, carefully, cleanly, healthy and low temperature application. The purpose of this study was to describe the organoleptic test results of frozen fish at KM Naili-XX, which is based at the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port, North Jakarta. This research was carried out from November 2020 to May 2021. Organoleptic tests were carried out following the procedures in SNI 01-2346-2006 regarding Instructions for Organoleptic and/or Sensory Tests. The results showed that based on the results of organoleptic testing at the time of loading I with an average value of 7.88 at the time of loading II the average value was 7.77 and at the time of unloading the average value was 7.66, meaning that it met the fish classification standard. frozen (SNI 4110-2014), namely products fit for consumption or for export. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the necessary costs, benefits and feasibility of fishing effort on purse seiner refrigerated frezzer. This research uses descriptive method, sampling with purposive sampling and financial analysis. Business analysis is carried out by identifying the costs incurred in the form of a total cost of IDR 1,362,779,900 / trip, consisting of fixed costs of IDR. 214,500,000 / trip and variable costs of IDR. 1,148,279,900. Income from the sale of the catch is IDR. 2,974,282,400 / trip with a net profit of IDR. 1,611,502,500 and for the ship owner gets a share of 60% so that in 1 fishing trip he gets a profit of IDR.. 966,901,500. It takes 6 trips (3 years) of fishing operations with a profit of IDR. 1,611,502,500 / trip to reach the break even point. The B / C ratio value of 2.18 is greater than 1, so the fishing business by KM. Asia Jaya 03 with purse seine fishing gear is declared feasible to operate and continue.

Abstract

The use of fossil energy as a source of fuel to turn on generators on fishing boats has long been used to assist fishing activities in Tablolong Village. The availability and lack of good use of this energy continuously will certainly be very bad for the sustainability of the fishermen's economy and the environment. The utilization of solar energy which has such great potential in East Nusa Tenggara can be one solution. The use of this technology is in line with the Blue Economy policy by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia. This 80 Wp PV system is installed on a 3 GT ship, then the energy that can be generated is analyzed and the Wilcoxon test is carried out to determine the fishermen's response to the use of the PV System. The utilization of the PV System as a source of electrical energy on 3GT vessels in Tablolong Village can meet the electrical energy needs of fishing boats. The electrical energy generated can meet 189% of the ship's electricity needs of 320 Wh/day with energy that can be produced by PV of 604.04 Wh/day. This result is also supported by the Wilcoxon test of the energy produced by PV for the ship's electrical energy needs. Based on the assessment indicators that have been carried out from before and after PV installation activities on fishing boats, it was found that there was a significant difference in the electrical energy needs before and after using PV System with a significant value of 0.001 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendugaan kelompok umur ikan Cakalang yang meliputi ukuran panjang pertama kali tertangkap (Lc), sebaran frekuensi panjang dan kelompok umur ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai September 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey untuk memperoleh data primer dengan melakukan pengukuran panjang terhadap 441 ekor ikan Cakalang sebagai sampel dan dianalisis dengan metode Bhattacharya (1967). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ukuran panjang pertama kali tertangkap (Lc) diperoleh ukuran panjang 52 Cm. Sebaran frekuensi panjang dari bulan Mei sampai September mengalami pergeseran pada tiap bulannya. Hasil analisis kohort diperoleh tiga kelompok umur relative ikan Cakalang yaitu L1 = 48,48 Cm, L2 = 58,08 Cm dan L3 = 65,35 Cm.Kata Kunci : Cakalang, Lc, Umur Ikan, Sorong.

Abstract

Abstrak - Analisis Finansial merupakan analisis untuk menentukan kelayakan usaha yang dijalankan, untuk mengukur kegiatan usaha yang dilakukan saat ini berhasil atau tidak. Analisis ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui besarnya keuntungan yang diperoleh dari suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah yang bertempat pada Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Bajomulyo Juwana, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan tersebut dimulai pada tanggal 18 November 2020 sampai dengan 22 Mei 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui aspek teknis penangkapan ikan menggunakan alat tangkap purse seine. Mengetahui aspek kelayakan finansial terhadap usaha penangkapan ikan. Hasil pengamatan selama pelaksanaan penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan penangkapan ikan KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah yaitu dilakukan dari PPP Bajomulyo Juwana, Pati, Jawa Tengah menuju koordinat untuk melakukan penangkapan ikan di Selat Makassar. Proses penangkapan berlangsung selama 4 bulan 13 hari dari tanggal 11 Desember 2020 hingga 24 April 2021. Aspek finansial yang dilakukan dari analisis bahwa perhitungan didapatkan nilai NPV Rp1.215.572.180, IRR 18,53%, payback period 4,78. Keuntungan disebabkan karena hasil tangkapan yang melimpah dan harga ikan yang stabil. B/C Ratio = 1,21456533, sehingga cukup hanya untuk menutupi biaya dan investasi usaha penangkapan ikan yang dilakukan KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah. This analysis can be used to determine the amount of profit derived from an activity carried out. This research was conducted at KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah which is located at the Fishing Port of Bajomulyo Juwana Beach, Central Java. This activity began on November 18 2020 until May 22 2021. The purpose of this study was to find out the technical aspects of fishing using purse seine fishing gear. Knowing aspects of financial feasibility of fishing effort. The results of observations during the implementation of the research showed that KMN Samudra Windu Barokah fishing activities, namely from PPP Bajomulyo Juwana, Pati, Central Java to the coordinates for fishing in the Makassar Strait. The arrest process lasted for 4 months and 13 days from 11 December 2020 to 24 April 2021. The financial aspect was carried out from the analysis that the calculation obtained an NPV value of IDR 1,215,572,180, IRR 18.53%, payback period 4.78. Profits are due to abundant catches and stable fish prices. B/C Ratio = 1.21456533, so that it is only enough to cover the costs and investment of the fishing effort carried out by KMN. Abstract

Jaring insang dasar monofilamen yang dioperasikan oleh nelayan Desa Tesabela umumnya dibuat sendiri sehingga terdapat variasi-variasi ukuran antar alat tangkap, selain itu juga penggunaan pemberat yang berbahan dasar batu dan dipasang pada tali pemberat sehingga adanya variasi berat pemberat dalam satu unit alat tangkap. Perbedaan ukuran tersebut akan mempengaruhi kinerja alat tangkap saat dioperasikan yang akan mempengaruhi jumlah hasil tangkapan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kesesuaian konstruksi jaring insang dasar monofilamen yang dioperasikan oleh nelayan Desa Tesabela dengan SNI 01-7214-2006. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di pada bulan Oktober – Desember 2023 di Desa Tesabela, Kecamatan Kupang Barat, Kabupaten Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini, yaitu deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 11 kriteria ketentuan konstruksi jaring insang dasar monofilamen yang dioperasikan oleh nelayan Desa Tesabela dengan SNI 01-7214-2006 terdapat 10 kriteria yang belum memenuhi, yaitu 1) Hanging ratio datar, 2) Perbandingan panjang jaring terpasang dengan tinggi jaring terpasang, 3) Perbandingan diameter benang dengan mata jaring teregang, 4) Perbandingan daya apung dengan panjang tali ris atas, 5) Perbandingan daya tenggelam dengan panjang tali ris bawah, 6) Perbandingan daya tenggelam dengan daya apung, 7) Perbandingan jarak pelampung dengan tinggi jaring, 8) Perbandingan jarak pemberat dengan tinggi jaring, 9) Perbandingan jarak pelampung dengan panjang tali ris atas, 10) Perbandingan jarak pemberat dengan panjang tali ris bawah. Terdapat 1 kriteria yang memenuhi, yaitu perbandingan panjang jaring tali ris bawah dengan panjang tali ris atas.The monofilament bottom gill nets operated by Tesabela Village fishermen are generally made by themselves so that there are variations in size between fishing gear, in addition to the use of weights made from stone and attached to weight lines so that there are variations in the weight of the weight in one unit of fishing gear. The difference in size will affect the performance of the fishing gear when operated which will affect the amount of catch. The aim of this research is to describe the suitability of monofilament bottom gill net construction operated by Tesabela Village fishermen with SNI 01-7214-2006. This research was carried out in October – December 2023 in Tesabela Village, West Kupang District, Kupang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive. The results of the research show that of the 11 criteria for the construction of monofilament bottom gill nets operated by Tesabela Village fishermen with SNI 01-7214-2006, there are 10 criteria that are not met, namely 1) Flat hanging ratio, 2) Comparison of the length of the installed net with the height of the installed net, 3) Comparison of the diameter of the thread with the stretched mesh, 4) Comparison of buoyancy with the length of the top rope, 5) Comparison of sinking power with the length of the bottom rope, 6) Comparison of sinking power with buoyancy, 7) Comparison of the distance between the float and the height of the net, 8) Comparison of the distance between the weights and the height of the net, 9) Comparison of the distance between the buoys and the length of the top rope, 10) Comparison of the distance between the weights and the length of the bottom rope. There is 1 criterion that is met, namely the ratio of the length of the lower ris rope net to the length of the upper ris rope.

Abstract

Aspek teknis merupakan salah satu faktor yang secara teknis operasional yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengoperasian alat tangkap Pukat Cincin dan perolehan hasil tangkapan ikan, beberapa aspek teknis tersebut antara lain, durasi waktu penyinaran lampu pengumpul ikan, durasi waktu pelingkaran jaring dan durasi waktu penarikan tali kerut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Maret 2023 sampai 23 Mei 2023 di KMN. Audy Maega Dalle berpangkalan di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Oeba Kupang. Analisis deskriptif digunakan mendeskripsikan tentang teknik penangkapan dengan alat tangkap purse seine, pada waktu pelingkaran alat tangkap, penarikan tali kerut dan penggunaan alat bantu lampu pengumpul ikan. Pengaruh aspek teknis pukat cincin terhadap hasil tangkapan. Yaitu lama pelingkaran sebesar 34,12 %. Lama penarikan tali kerut sebesar 40,48%. Lama waktu penyinaran sebesar 0,38%, artinya setiap penambahan 1 menit dalam dua perlakuan tersebut akan terjadi penurunan hasil tangkapan sedangkan pengaruh penyinaran apabila berkurang 1 menit akan terjadi penurunan hasil tangkapan. . Dengan demikian, semakin cepat durasi waktu pelingkaran jaring, waktu penarikan tali kerut dan semakin lama durasi waktu penyinaran lampu pengumpul ikan, maka hasil tangkapan ikan yang diperoleh akan semakin besar.The technical aspect is one of the technically operational factors that influences the successful operation of the purse seine fishing gear and the acquisition of fish catches. Some of these technical aspects include, the duration of the time the fish collector lights are illuminated, the duration of the net circling time and the duration of the time for pulling the crimp line. The research was carried out from March 15, 2023 to May 23, 2023 at KMN. Audy Maega Dalle is based at the Oeba Kupang Fish Landing Base (PPI). Descriptive analysis was used to describe fishing techniques using purse seine fishing gear, when circling the fishing gear, pulling the crimp line and using fish collecting lamps. The influence of technical aspects of purse seining on catch results. That is, the circle length is 34.12%. The length of time to withdraw the crimp rope is 40.48%. The length of the exposure time was 00.38%, meaning that for every additional 1 minute in the two treatments there would be a decrease in catch, while the effect of exposure if it was reduced by 1 minute would result in a decrease in catch. . Thus, the faster the duration of the net circling time, the time for pulling the crimping line and the longer the duration of shining the fish collecting lamp, the greater the fish catch obtained.
