Abstract

Wireless technology is a solution to reach hard-to-reach places using cable technology. The use of wireless technology can reach these areas without using copper or cables in the data transmission process. Communication technology using wireless is one solution to connect the control system to support the creation and achievement of the goals of the 4.0 revolution so that control and monitoring become easier. With the convenience provided by wireless technology such as connecting various types of system devices between other systems. One type of wireless technology is WPAN, especially on the ZigBee system from Digi International with the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol standard with low power consumption and working at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. Utilization of the communication system from the ZigBee protocol can control according to the range capabilities of the ZigBee system. ZigBee's ability and use of communication can perform communication control robot sumobot (slave robot) and remote control (robot leader) as an introduction to command data to carry out movements on the slave robot in accordance with the orders from the robot leader After trying XBEE to send data at a certain distance without experiencing data loss, the best distance is obtained, namely 1 - 100 meters with the firmware coordinator and router settings. Data delays can be minimized with a transfer rate of 3 kbps in the data transfer rate.

Abstract

The source of lighting in ships can be sourced from electrical energy generated by using generators or now can utilize new renewable energy, such as solar energy using PV. Based on the existing potential, Indonesia has good solar energy potential. The measurement results show that the potential for solar energy reaches 6.37 kWh/m2/day. This potential can certainly be utilized in the marine and fisheries world. The utilization of PV as a source of electrical energy on fishing boats is expected to help support government policies in terms of the blue economy and overcome the limited number of fossil energy sources. In this study, the installation of PV with a size of 100 WP was installed on fishing boats. The need for electrical energy for PV energy output shows that it can meet 50.52% of electrical energy needs. This result is supported by the Wilcoxon test that electrical energy needs can be met by PV with a p < 0.005. The results of the economic analysis also show that the use of solar energy as a source of electrical energy provides an IRR of 9%, with a payback period of 8.87 years.

Abstract

A magnetic stirrer is a laboratory tool that is used to stir or mix a solution with another solution so that the solution is heterogeneous. Technology and science have now progressed, so in this study, a microcontroller-based magnetic stirrer was designed. This tool is designed with digital speed and time settings, with digital technology, it is hoped that the data reading error of the speed and time of mixing samples can be minimized, efficient in time, relatively easier to use, and produces a homogeneous solution. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by a microcontroller-based magnetic stirrer in a solution with low viscosity from mixing water and syrup, it requires mixing time for 1 minute with low, medium, and high speeds. For a solution with a higher viscosity using water and special grade syrup, it takes 5 minutes at medium and high speeds. To mix water with salt and water with sugar takes 10 minutes at high speed.

Abstract

Abstrak—Pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai sumber energi listrik di Desa Ban, bekerja secara stand alone dalam bentuk Solar Home System (SHS), dimana 65,83% SHS tidak dapat beroperasi sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat.Kelanjutan dari itu, maka dilakukan penelitian dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 62 responden, yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. 62 responden terdiri dari 31 responden dengan SHS berfungsi, dan 31 responden dengan SHS tidak berfungsi untuk menjawab kuesioner. Data hasil kuesioner yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji beda nonparametrik dengan uji Mann-Whitney.Hasil analisis dengan uji Mann-Whitney, menunjukan perbedaan yang bermakna antara responden dengan SHS masih berfungsi dengan responden dengan SHS tidak berfungsi dalam kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial, dengan nilai probabilitas kurang dari 0,05.Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, penggunaan PLTS sebagai listrik pedesaan berdampak terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, dengan adanya peningkatan kehidupan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat Desa Ban, Kubu, Karangasem.Kata kunci—Energi listrik terbarukan, PLTS/SHS, dampak ekonomi, dampak sosial

Abstract

The process of managing incoming and outgoing letters in government agencies is still using a manual system, recording is still using an agenda book which has several problems, such as the difficulty of administrative staff in finding old data due to the accumulation of letter data and the letter archiving process. In this study, a web-based mail archive system & SMS gateway mail archival system was created. This system can assist the process of filing letters. Testing this system using BlackBox testing. The research method uses the waterfall system development technique, consisting of several stages, namely the stages of needs analysis, system design, writing program code, conducting testing, and program implementation and maintenance. The data collection technique used is through the interview, observation, and literature study. The test results of the correspondence information system with features to manage officer data, manage incoming mail data, manage outgoing mail data, manage letter type data, manage travel letter data outside the region, and reports. This shows that the system created can function as expected.

Abstract

Abstract. The use of increasingly sophisticated technology for health workers certainly requires proper and regular care. This technology is essential in puskesmas services, such as a circuit on a dental examination board, a sensor on a lighting lamp, a stethoscope, and an ECG. Medical devices that have a good level of reliability will provide good service quality. Apart from being a form of treatment for medical devices at the puskesmas, this service is also training for technicians and health workers for medical device maintenance. This, of course, will increase knowledge and skills in managing, maintaining, and repairing medical devices at puskesmas. This activity will further support puskesmas services, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the actions that have been carried out, it has been able to improve and overcome several problems with several medical devices, such as dental units, ECGs, headlamps, and otoscopes. This activity indirectly provides knowledge and learning in the form of good experiences and adds insight into the operation of medical devices that are used so that they are always active, accurate, and can help health activities at Banjarangkan II Klungkung Health Center. --- Pemanfaatan teknologi tenaga kesehatan yang semakin canggih tentu saja memerlukan adanya perawatan secara baik dan teratur. Teknolgi ini merupakan satu elemen penting dalam pelayanan di puskesmas, seperti rangkaian pada board pemeriksaan gigi, sensor pada lampu pencahayaan, stetoskop, dan juga ECG . Peralatan kesehatan yang memiliki tingkat keandalan yang baik akan memberikan mutu pelayanan yang baik. Pengabdian ini selain sebagai bentuk perawatan alat kesehatan di puskesmas juga merupakan pelatihan perawatan peralatan medis untuk teknisi dan tenaga kesehatan. Hal ini tentu saja akan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola, memelihara dan memperbaiki peralatan kesehatan di puskesmas. Kegiatan ini akan bisa lebih mendukung dalam pelayanan puskesmas terutama di masa pandemi Covid-19. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan telah dapat melakukan perbaikan dan mengatasi beberapa permasalahan pada beberapa alat kesehatan, seperti dental unit, ECG, head lamp, dan otoskop. Kegiatan ini secara tidak langsung memberikan ilmu dan pelajaran berupa pengalaman yang baik, serta menambah wawasan tentang operasional alat medis yang digunakan agar selalu aktif, akurat, dan tentunya dapat membantu kegiatan medis di Puskesmas Banjarangkan II Klungkung.

Abstract

Fishing by small and large-scale fishers must be supported by vessels and proper fishing gear. Ships have advantages in transportation and catching fish because they have a minor accident rate compared to other transportation modes. After all, ships are equipped with facilities for prevention and control. This is so important in fishing activities by fishers. A fisherman in Tablolong Village is a one-day fishing fisherman who catches fish around East Nusa Tenggara. The significant potential of the sea has made fishing activities one of the livelihoods for the community. However, if the ship is damaged, the fishermen cannot carry out fishing activities. This will affect their economy. This community service provided training and maintenance of single-cylinder boat engines on two damaged fishing boats. All fishermen participated in this activity and received good appreciation, and this training immensely helped the community. The results of this training have a good impact on the community. In the evaluation results, fishers can make repairs and carry out maintenance independently on their vessels. --- Penangkapan ikan oleh para nelayan skala kecil dan besar harus didukung dengan kapal dan alat tangkap yang layak. Kapal mempunyai keunggulan dalam pengangkutan dan juga dalam menangkap ikan karena memiliki tingkat kecelakaan yang kecil dibandingkan dengan moda transfortasi lainnya, karena kapal dilengkapi sarana untuk pencegahan dan penanggulangannya. Hal ini begitu penting dalam kegiatan penangkapan ikan oleh para nelayan. Nelayan di Desa Tablolong merupakan salah satu nelayan one day fishing yang melakukan penangkapan ikan di sekitar Nusa Tenggara Timur. Besarnya potensi laut yang ada menyebabkan kegiatan penangkapan ikan menjadi salah satu mata pencaharian bagi masyarakat. Namun jika terjadi kerusakan kapal, maka para nelayan tidak bisa melakukan kegiatan penangkapan. Hal ini akan berpengaruh kepada perekonomian mereka. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan perawatan mesin kapal satu silinder pada dua kapal nelayan yang mengalami kerusakan. Pada kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh nelayan dan mendapatkan apresiasi yang baik, dan masyarakat sangat terbantu dengan adanya pelatihan ini. Hasil pelatihan ini memberikan dampak yang baik bagi masyarakat. Pada hasil evaluasi para nelayan dapat melakukan perbaikan dan melakukan perawatan secara mandiri pada kapal-kapal mereka.

Abstract

Kepatuhan pasien sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai keberhasilan terapi seperti tuberkulosis. Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit yang banyak menyebabkan kematian di Indonesia dan merupakan penyakit kronis yang keberhasilan pengobatannya adalah kepatuhan pasien untuk selalu minum obat. Untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat, pada penelitian ini dibuat alat kotak obat yang memiliki alarm dan LED. Uji statistik dengan uji t satu sampel digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa alat bekerja secara tepat. Tidak ada perbedaan waktu yang signifikan pada pengaturan waktu pukul 07.00, 13.00, dan 19.00. Alarm berbunyi dan LED berkedip tepat waktu sesuai dengan waktu alat. Sedangkan pada uji Wilcoxon, terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan kotak obat berbasis mikrokontroler.Patient compliance is needed to achieve the success of therapy such as tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a disease that causes many deaths in Indonesia and is a chronic disease whose successful treatment is patient compliance to always take medication. To improve adherence to taking medication, in this study a medicine box device that has an alarm and LED was made. Statistical test with t-test is used to ensure that the tool is working properly. There is no significant time difference in the timings at 07.00, 13.00, and 19.00. The alarm sounds and the LED flashes in time according to the time of the appliance. Meanwhile, in the Wilcoxon test, there was a significant difference before and after the use of a microcontroller-based medicine box.

Abstract

Seiring dengan kebutuhan dan berbagai jenis kapal yang berkembang, kebutuhan tenaga listrik di atas kapal akan sangat beragam. Pembangkit listrik di atas kapal selain menggunakan mesin diesel juga dapat memanfaatkan energi dari sinar Matahari sebagai sumber energi listrik alternatif. Potensi energi surya di Indonesia sebesar 4,8 kWh/m2. Energi baru dan terbarukan ini sesuai dengan tofografi Indonesia. Energi dari sinar Matahari di sekitar daerah ekuator begitu melimpah sehingga ketersediaannya selalu ada sepanjang tahun, kecuali pada saat hujan. Pemanfaatan energi Matahari dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti energi konvensional yang mulai terbatas dan harganya yang cukup mahal. Data yang disajikan dalam tulisan ini diperoleh dari publikasi, pabrikan, departemen pemerintah terkait, publikasi ilmiah dan publikasi lainnya. Pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai energi listrik dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan panel surya yang dipasang di atas kapal. Energi listrik yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan untuk menghidupkan peralatan listrik dan lampu kapal di malam hari, dan digunakan sebagai alat bantu penangkapan ikan. Penggunaan PLTS juga dapat memberikan dampak positif kepada para nelayan, seperti peningkaatan kesehatan, ekonomi, kelestarian lingkungan dan membangun nelayan yang mandiri.
