Abstract

The use of fossil energy as a source of fuel to turn on generators on fishing boats has long been used to assist fishing activities in Tablolong Village. The availability and lack of good use of this energy continuously will certainly be very bad for the sustainability of the fishermen's economy and the environment. The utilization of solar energy which has such great potential in East Nusa Tenggara can be one solution. The use of this technology is in line with the Blue Economy policy by the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia. This 80 Wp PV system is installed on a 3 GT ship, then the energy that can be generated is analyzed and the Wilcoxon test is carried out to determine the fishermen's response to the use of the PV System. The utilization of the PV System as a source of electrical energy on 3GT vessels in Tablolong Village can meet the electrical energy needs of fishing boats. The electrical energy generated can meet 189% of the ship's electricity needs of 320 Wh/day with energy that can be produced by PV of 604.04 Wh/day. This result is also supported by the Wilcoxon test of the energy produced by PV for the ship's electrical energy needs. Based on the assessment indicators that have been carried out from before and after PV installation activities on fishing boats, it was found that there was a significant difference in the electrical energy needs before and after using PV System with a significant value of 0.001 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Abstrak - Analisis kelayakan usaha dan operasional kapal penangkap khusus (slerek) atau purse seine dengan tangkapan utama yaitu lemuru (sardinella sp.) yang selalu tersedia sepanjang tahun di perairan Selat Bali (WPP NRI 573). Tujuan penelitian untuk Mengetahui Konstruksi armada kapal penangkap, teknik pengoperasian dan penanganan dan fishing ground dan hasil tangkapan, serta Menganalisis kelayakan usaha penangkapan ikan. Peneliitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 Maret 2022 sampai 18 Juni 2022 pada KM. Bintang Putra Samudra yang berpangkalan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Pengambengan. Analisis deskriptif digunakan dengan mendeskripsikan tentang teknik penangkapan dan penanganan ikan dengan alat tangkap purse seine yang menggunakan 2 unit kapal serta pengoperasian alat tangkap yaitu sama seperti purse seine light fishing yang menggunakan bantuan cahaya lampu untuk mengumpulkan gerombolan ikan. penanganan ikan berupa penyiapan palka, pengangkutan ikan (brailing), dan pendinginan dengan Es menggunakan metode bulking dengan hasil tangkapan tertinggi pada koordinat 08º38''06" S dan 114º52''53" E sebesar 22,714.kg Nilai B/C ratio yaitu 3,2 lebih besar dari 1, sehingga usaha penangkapan ikan layak untuk dijalankan dan diteruskan. Berdasarkan nilai Break Even Point (BEP) dibutuhkan 153 trip (7 bulan 13 hari) untuk memperoleh keuntungan Rp. 14.939.057/trip agar mencapai titik impas. Kata Kunci : Penangkapan ikan, Daerah Penangkapan, Titik Impas. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendugaan kelompok umur ikan Cakalang yang meliputi ukuran panjang pertama kali tertangkap (Lc), sebaran frekuensi panjang dan kelompok umur ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei sampai September 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey untuk memperoleh data primer dengan melakukan pengukuran panjang terhadap 441 ekor ikan Cakalang sebagai sampel dan dianalisis dengan metode Bhattacharya (1967). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ukuran panjang pertama kali tertangkap (Lc) diperoleh ukuran panjang 52 Cm. Sebaran frekuensi panjang dari bulan Mei sampai September mengalami pergeseran pada tiap bulannya. Hasil analisis kohort diperoleh tiga kelompok umur relative ikan Cakalang yaitu L1 = 48,48 Cm, L2 = 58,08 Cm dan L3 = 65,35 Cm.Kata Kunci : Cakalang, Lc, Umur Ikan, Sorong.

Abstract

The difference in fishermen's catches each year tends to fluctuate at different fishing locations; this is due to the still low efficiency and productivity of fishing efforts. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the performance of tuna handline businesses operated in fish aggregating device areas at fishing grounds in FMAs 713 and 714. The results show that in the period of 2020-2023, the development of catch rates each year fluctuated, while the average value of catch rates for each vessel based on the highest season occurred in the East Season and the lowest in the Transition Season I. Likewise, the average catch rate based on the time of the month of capture is highest in June, July, and November. The results of the analysis of production factors that influence the catch are the time of the month of fishing, fuel use, ice use, and number of crew members, while the factors of trip length, ship GT, and engine capacity do not have a direct influence. The information from this evaluation is very much needed by fishermen and stakeholders to optimise the performance of tuna handlines in fish-aggregating device areas.

Abstract

Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi hasil tangkapan alat tangkap bouke ami di WPP-RI 712. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan yaitu dari bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret 2019 di perairan Laut Jawa yang terletak pada WPP 712 dengan metode observasi. Hasil pengamatan pada pengoperasian alat tangkap bouke ami meliputi tahapan persiapan, setting dan Hauling. Alat tangkap bouke ami yang digunakan memiliki panjang 14.5 meter dengan bentuk jaring menyerupai kerucut. Hasil tangkapan terbesar pada alat tangkap bouke ami yang dioperasikan di WPP-RI 712 yaitu cumi – cumi (Loligo sp.) sebanyak 12.910 kg dan ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) sebanyak 1.400 kg. dengan nilai komposisi jenis terbesar pada jenis Loligo sp. sebesar 76,99% diikuti jenis Euthynnus affinis sebesar 8.32%, jenis Sepia sp. sebesar 5.59%, jenis Decapterus sp. sebesar 5.33% dan Scomberomorus sp. sebesar 3.98%. Kata kunci: Bouke Ami, WPP-RI 712, Cumi-Cumi, Laut Jawa Abstract - This study aims to determine the composition of the catch of bouke ami fishing gear in WPP-RI 712. This research was carried out for two months, from February to March 2019 in the Java Sea waters located in WPP 712 with the observation method. The results of observations on the operation of bouke ami fishing gear include the stages of preparation, setting and hauling. The bouke ami fishing gear used has a length of 14.5 meters with a net shape resembling a cone. The biggest catch on bouke ami fishing gear operated in WPP-RI 712 were squid (Loligo sp.) as much as 12,910 kg and tuna (Euthynnus affinis) as much as 1,400 kg. with the highest species composition value in Loligo sp. by 76.99% followed by Euthynnus affinis at 8.32%, Sepia sp. by 5.59%, Decapterus sp. by 5.33% and Scomberomorus sp. by 3.98%. Abstract

Abstrak - Perairan Laut Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) memiliki potensi yang sangat beragam, Cakalang (Kasuwonus ppelamis) adalah satu komoditas ekspor perikanan pelagis yang banyak didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Tenau Kupang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Nopember 2021 sampai Bulan Januari 2022 di Perairan Laut Kupang NTT. Metode penelitian ddilakukan dengan cara Observasi lamgsung diatas kapal Purase Seine, guna mengetahui jenis dan jumlah hasil tangkapan, serta penerapan sanitasi higiene di atas kapal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survey observasi, wawancara dan pengisian kuestionaer. Dilakukan analisa data secara kuantitatif, guna mengetahui hasil tangkapan dan komposisi jumlah tangkapan serta mutu secara organoleptik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah hasil tangkapan dan komposisi pada penangkapan adalah Ikan Cakalang berjumlah 492,219 kg dengan persentase 43.08 %, Yellow fin Tuna 257,756 kg (18,75 %), Big Eye Tuna 179.810 kg (13,08 %), Layang 136.507 kg (9,93 %), Tongkol 111.625 kg (8,12 %), Lemadang 77.120 kg (5,61 %), dan Salmon 19.658 kg (1,43 %). Mutu ikan cakalang yang diangkat dari jaring menunjukkan nilai organoleptik 9,0 dan pada penyimpanan pada palka menunjukkan nilai 8,5, dan setelah sampai di pembongkaran menunjukkan nilai 7,5. Penerapan sanitasi dan higiene di atas kapal belum di terapkan dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Komposisi , purse seine, hasil tangkapan Abstract - The sea waters of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) have very diverse potential, Cakalang (Kasuwonus ppelamis) is a pelagic fishery export commodity that is mostly landed at the Fisheries Port of Tenau Beach, Kupang. This research was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022 in the Kupang Sea, NTT. The research method was carried out by direct observation on the Purase Seine ship, in order to determine the type and number of catches, as well as the application of hygiene sanitation on the ship. Data was collected through observation surveys, interviews and filling out questionnaires. Quantitative data analysis was carried out, in order to determine the catch and the composition of the number of catches as well as organoleptic quality. The results showed the number of catches and the composition of the catch were skipjack tuna, amounting to 492.219 kg with a percentage of 43.08 %, Yellow fin Tuna 257.756 kg (18.75 %), Big Eye Tuna 179.810 kg (13.08 %), kite 136.507 kg (9 ,93 %), Cob 111,625 kg (8,12 %), Lemadang 77,120 kg (5,61 %), and Salmon 19,658 kg (1,43 %). The quality of skipjack tuna removed from the net showed an organoleptic value of 9.0 and in storage in the hold it showed a value of 8.5, and after arriving at the unloading it showed a value of 7.5. The application of sanitation and hygiene on board has not been implemented properly. Keywords: Composition, purse seine, catch

Abstract

Abstrak - Analisis Finansial merupakan analisis untuk menentukan kelayakan usaha yang dijalankan, untuk mengukur kegiatan usaha yang dilakukan saat ini berhasil atau tidak. Analisis ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui besarnya keuntungan yang diperoleh dari suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah yang bertempat pada Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Bajomulyo Juwana, Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan tersebut dimulai pada tanggal 18 November 2020 sampai dengan 22 Mei 2021. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui aspek teknis penangkapan ikan menggunakan alat tangkap purse seine. Mengetahui aspek kelayakan finansial terhadap usaha penangkapan ikan. Hasil pengamatan selama pelaksanaan penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan penangkapan ikan KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah yaitu dilakukan dari PPP Bajomulyo Juwana, Pati, Jawa Tengah menuju koordinat untuk melakukan penangkapan ikan di Selat Makassar. Proses penangkapan berlangsung selama 4 bulan 13 hari dari tanggal 11 Desember 2020 hingga 24 April 2021. Aspek finansial yang dilakukan dari analisis bahwa perhitungan didapatkan nilai NPV Rp1.215.572.180, IRR 18,53%, payback period 4,78. Keuntungan disebabkan karena hasil tangkapan yang melimpah dan harga ikan yang stabil. B/C Ratio = 1,21456533, sehingga cukup hanya untuk menutupi biaya dan investasi usaha penangkapan ikan yang dilakukan KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah. Kata kunci: Bajomulyo, Juwana, Purse seine Abstract - Financial Analysis is an analysis to determine the feasibility of the business being carried out, to measure whether the current business activities are successful or not. This analysis can be used to determine the amount of profit derived from an activity carried out. This research was conducted at KMN. Samudra Windu Barokah which is located at the Fishing Port of Bajomulyo Juwana Beach, Central Java. This activity began on November 18 2020 until May 22 2021. The purpose of this study was to find out the technical aspects of fishing using purse seine fishing gear. Knowing aspects of financial feasibility of fishing effort. The results of observations during the implementation of the research showed that KMN Samudra Windu Barokah fishing activities, namely from PPP Bajomulyo Juwana, Pati, Central Java to the coordinates for fishing in the Makassar Strait. The arrest process lasted for 4 months and 13 days from 11 December 2020 to 24 April 2021. The financial aspect was carried out from the analysis that the calculation obtained an NPV value of IDR 1,215,572,180, IRR 18.53%, payback period 4.78. Profits are due to abundant catches and stable fish prices. B/C Ratio = 1.21456533, so that it is only enough to cover the costs and investment of the fishing effort carried out by KMN.
