Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the impact of performance allowances and work-life balance on employee performance in the Procurement of Goods/Services Division at the Regional Secretariat of Pasuruan Regency, both directly and through job satisfaction. The study uses a sample of 95 employees from the Procurement of Goods/Services Division of Pasuruan Regency and employs a census research method. Data analysis is conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) with a variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, implemented through SmartPLS software to address normality issues and accommodate small sample sizes. The results indicate that performance allowances can enhance employee performance by reducing stress and fatigue-related boredom. Additionally, a good work-life balance contributes positively to employee performance, especially when employees can manage work and personal life demands. Performance allowances are proven to improve employee performance through increased job satisfaction, while work-life balance does not significantly contribute to performance through job satisfaction. This study provides insights into the importance of these factors in improving employee performance in the public sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 154 orang pegawai Kantor Otban Wilayah III Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang   digunakan yaitu persamaan struktural (SEM). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variable penilaian kinerja, kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, motivasi kerja dapat memediasi pengaruh penilaian kinerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

One of the primary concerns in the ongoing economic recession is the decline in the enrolment of students continuing their studies on campus. Consequently, various strategies are necessary to increase the quantity and the extent of customer engagement, in this case, students, thereby fostering their resilience within universities. This study aims to examine the role of service quality in customer engagement, with or without the mediating effect of customer satisfaction. This research employs a cross-sectional study design. The participants in this study are active students at XXX University in Yogyakarta. Data collection instruments include customer engagement, service quality, and customer satisfaction questionnaires. Path analysis is used, specifically Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), facilitated by SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the path analysis in this study indicate that the quality of electronic services plays a significant role in customer engagement through customer satisfaction. This finding is evidenced by a path coefficient of 0.526, which is considered relatively strong (p = 0.000, < 0.01). Additionally, the quality of electronic services has a direct and significant impact on customer engagement, as demonstrated by a path coefficient of 0.159, which is regarded as relatively weak (p = 0.015, < 0.05). This study concludes that customer satisfaction effectively mediates the relationship between electronic service quality and customer engagement.

Abstract

Employee performance is critical to the success of an organization, especially the public sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of Activity Based Workplace, Work Life Balance, and Employee Engagement on Employee Performance at Madya Dua Tax Office West Jakarta. A quantitative approach was used with multiple linear regression analysis as the method. The sample consisted of 58 employees, determined using the Slovin formula from the population of active employees at tax office. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 25.0. The results show that simultaneously, the three independent variables, Activity Based Workplace, Work Life Balance, and Employee Engagement have a significant effect on employee performance. Partially, each of these variables also shows a significant influence with a positive regression coefficient. This indicates that the better the implementation of an activity-based work environment, the balance between work and personal life, and employee engagement, the higher the employee performance. These findings imply that Madya Dua Tax Office West Jakarta should continuously improve the quality of the work environment, support work-life balance, and strengthen employee engagement to achieve optimal organizational performance.

Abstract

The development of technical competence of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) is a strategic element in supporting bureaucratic transformation and improving the quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing technical competence of ASN in BPSDM of East Java Province using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of instructors, structural officials, and training participants. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of training has adopted a needs-based learning model and digital technology, such as blended learning and e-learning. The main strengths lie in the competence of instructors and regulatory support, while weaknesses include limited human resources and suboptimal performance-based evaluation. Opportunities are open through cross-sector collaboration and the use of learning technology, but challenges remain such as resistance to change and the digital literacy gap between ASN. The recommended strategies include strengthening corporate universities, improving digital infrastructure, level-based competency mapping, and forming a learning intelligence team. This study recommends the need for an adaptive, sustainable, and integrated training approach with the ASN career development system to face digital disruption and the dynamics of public policy that continue to develop. ABSTRAKPengembangan kompetensi teknis Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) merupakan elemen strategis dalam mendukung transformasi birokrasi dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan kompetensi teknis ASN di BPSDM Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap widyaiswara, pejabat struktural, dan peserta pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan telah mengadopsi model pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan dan teknologi digital, seperti blended learning dan e-learning. Kekuatan utama terletak pada kompetensi widyaiswara dan dukungan regulasi, sedangkan kelemahan mencakup keterbatasan SDM dan belum optimalnya evaluasi berbasis kinerja. Peluang terbuka melalui kolaborasi lintas sektor dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, namun tantangan tetap ada seperti resistensi perubahan dan kesenjangan literasi digital antar ASN. Strategi yang disarankan mencakup penguatan corporate university, peningkatan infrastruktur digital, pemetaan kompetensi berbasis level, dan pembentukan tim pemantau pembelajaran (learning intelligence team). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pendekatan pelatihan yang adaptif, berkelanjutan, dan terintegrasi dengan sistem pengembangan karier ASN guna menghadapi disrupsi digital dan dinamika kebijakan publik yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

Keripik tempe merupakan salah satu oleh-oleh khas Malang yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan. Namun, produk lokal seperti Keripik Tempe Ar-Ridlo di Sanan, Kota Malang, masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal branding dan daya tarik kemasan untuk bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk melalui inovasi smartpackaging sebagai langkah strategis dalam membangun branding yang lebih kuat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan kepada produsen dalam perancangan desain kemasan yang inovatif dan fungsional, penerapan teknologi smartpackaging seperti ziplock dan kelengkapan informasi produk, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital guna meningkatkan jangkauan pasar. Pendekatan personal, partisipatif dan kolaboratif diterapkan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas kemasan produk Keripik Tempe Ar-Ridlo yang lebih modern, informatif, dan menarik, serta peningkatan kesadaran merek di kalangan konsumen. Selain itu, penerapan teknologi smartpackaging memungkinkan konsumen mendapatkan informasi tentang bahan, proses pembuatan, dan keunggulan produk dengan mudah, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kepercayaan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Makna penting pengabdian ini terletak pada upaya mendukung pelaku Industri Rumah Tangga untuk beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan pasar modern sekaligus melestarikan produk khas daerah sebagai identitas budaya. Dengan inovasi ini, Keripik Tempe Ar-Ridlo berpotensi menjadi oleh-oleh unggulan yang mampu membawa dampak positif bagi ekonomi lokal dan memperkuat citra Kota Malang sebagai destinasi wisata kuliner.

Abstract

Paket Wisata berbasis masyarakat memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pembangunan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Mengembangkan Paket Wisata dengan melibatkan masyarakat disekitar lokasi Destinasi Wisata berarti mengoptimalkan partisipasi dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat lokal disekitar Destinasi Wisata sebagai pelaku utama dalam perencanaan, pengelolaan, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan wisata. Melalui pendekatan ini, manfaat ekonomi dari sektor pariwisata dapat langsung dirasakan oleh masyarakat setempat. Selain manfaat ekonomi, konsep ini sekaligus mendorong pelestarian (konservasi) budaya dan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Studi kualitatif eksploratif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola Wisata Jolotundo dan tokoh masyarakat adat Desa Bajulan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberdayakan masyarakat dan komunitas lokal di sekitar destinasi wisata Jolotundo Glamping dan Edupark, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial-ekonomi warga desa bajulan, tetapi juga memastikan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata dilakukan secara inklusif dan berkelanjutan, selaras dengan prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan. Konsep ini juga dapat membantu inovasi dan pemasaran produk wisata dari Wisata wisata Jolotundo Glamping dan Edupark dalam era kompetisi industri Pariwisata secara global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image, influencer marketing, dan online customer review terhadap keputusan pembelian produk skincare Wardah melalui aplikasi TikTok, khususnya pada mahasiswa STIE Mahardhika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 6.787 mahasiswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang ditentukan melalui purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria pengguna aktif produk Wardah di TikTok. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner daring dengan skala Likert 1–5 dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image, influencer marketing, dan online customer review secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Dari ketiga variabel independen, influencer marketing merupakan faktor yang paling dominan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian, diikuti oleh brand image, sementara online customer review juga berpengaruh signifikan meskipun kontribusinya relatif lebih kecil. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,660 menegaskan bahwa variabel brand image, influencer marketing, dan online customer review mampu menjelaskan 66% variasi keputusan pembelian, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya integrasi strategi pemasaran digital melalui penciptaan citra merek yang positif, pemanfaatan influencer yang relevan, serta pengelolaan ulasan pelanggan yang baik pada platform TikTok. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi perusahaan skincare, khususnya Wardah, dalam mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran digital guna meningkatkan daya saing dan loyalitas konsumen di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research investigates the complex dynamics of the Highways Public Works Department in East Java Province, exploring the multifaceted influence of Person-Organization Fit (POF), Psychological Climate, and Job Stress on employee performance. Person-Organization Fit, which reflects the alignment between individual values and organizational culture, is examined for its role in shaping employee effectiveness. This study assesses how the Psychological Climate in the workplace, which includes factors such as organizational culture and leadership style, contributes to employee well-being and performance. Additionally, the impact of Job Stress on employees in this particular public service context is also investigated. By analyzing these factors comprehensively, this research aims to provide actionable insights for organizational development and management strategy. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all employees of the East Java Bina Marga DPU, totaling 667 people. The data collection method used in this research is by using a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is then tested using multiple linear regression analysis. These findings are expected to guide interventions that improve employee performance, job satisfaction, and overall organizational effectiveness. Because the Public Works Department plays an important role in infrastructure development, understanding and optimizing the factors that influence employee performance is important to ensure the successful implementation of public projects and services in East Java Province. This study contributes valuable knowledge at the intersection of organizational psychology and public administration, addressing practical implications for fostering conducive work environments and maximizing employee contributions. This research can be used as a basis for developing new theories or enriching existing theories regarding the influence of person-organization fit, psychological climate, and work stress on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work culture, leadership style, and remuneration on employee performance within the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province. This research adopts a quantitative approach, which focuses on the measurement and analysis of numerical data. This approach tends to utilize structured data collection instruments, such as questionnaires or surveys, to gather data from respondents. The research findings indicate that a positive work culture, effective leadership style, and fair remuneration system have a significant positive impact on employee performance. These findings provide insights for organizations to enhance working conditions and employee satisfaction, ultimately strengthening overall organizational performance. Managerial implications include the need for a supportive work culture, the implementation of motivating leadership styles, and a transparent remuneration system. This study contributes to understanding the factors influencing employee performance in the context of the public sector, particularly within the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province.
