Abstract

Alfi Nura, Pengaruh Work Life Balance Terhadap Attracting And Retaining Talent  pada Perusahaan IT di Jakarta. Di bawah bimbingan:  Prof. Dr. Hj. Tjutju Yuniarsih, MPd, Prof. Dr. H. Disman, M.S, Prof. Dr. H. Eeng Ahman, M.S. Komitmen yang tinggi dari karyawan bertalenta dalam memenuhi tujuan dan keinginan perusahaan, sering mengabaikan Work Life Balance (WLB) karyawan tersebut. Etos kerja yang sudah tertanam untuk menjaga pride harga diri di depan kolega dan Tuhan, menimbulkan semangat yang tinggi untuk terus bekerja keras, meskipun tak jarang harus bekerja secara over time. Namun, hal ini akan berdampak pada WLB karyawan bertalenta, dan WLB tersebut akan mempengaruhi attracting and retaining talent karyawan bertalenta.. WLB dapat berperan dalam membantu mendapatkan strategi yang lebih terfokus, agar perusahaan dapat  mempertahankan karyawan yang bertalenta (Deery et al., 2015). Sebagian besar responden melaporkan mengalami kesulitan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja (WLB), dan sekitar sepertiga mempertimbangkan untuk meninggalkan perusahaan (Sang et al., 2009). Attracting and Retaining Talent (ART) merupakan salah satu variabel penting yang harus benar-benar dipaerhatikan perusahaan, sebab karyawan bertalenta merupakan key person bagi perusahaan, kehilangan satu talentapun, akan berdampak makro bagi perusahaan. Attracting and retaining talent is concerned with how to become a genuine employer of choise. “Employers of choise” means an organization that is a great place to work (Baker, 2014). Ini artinya bagaimana agar perusahaan dapat menciptakan tempat kerja yang dipilih karyawan bertalenta dan menjadi tempat terbaik bagi karyawan bertalenta untuk bekerja.   Keywords : Talent Management, Attracting and Retaining Talent, Work Life Balance

Abstract

This study investigates the interplay between business ethics and brand popularity in shaping consumer trust, focusing on the Azarine brand within the beauty industry. Maintaining consumer trust is vital for business development and sustainability in an increasingly competitive market. Business ethics encompasses principles such as transparency, honesty, and corporate responsibility, which are crucial for fostering consumer trust. The research highlights a recent incident involving Azarine, where allegations of over-claiming product efficacy led to significant consumer skepticism, despite the brand's strong market presence. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected from students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan, via questionnaires designed to elicit opinions on the impact of business ethics and brand popularity on consumer trust. The findings indicate that while brand popularity can attract initial consumer interest, long-term trust heavily relies on ethical practices and product quality. Respondents unanimously agreed that adherence to ethical standards is fundamental in building and maintaining consumer trust, particularly in the beauty sector where product claims directly impact health and safety. The study reveals that ethical violations, such as misleading product claims, can severely damage consumer confidence. Many respondents indicated they would discontinue using Azarine products due to the over-claim incident, viewing transparency and honesty as essential criteria for selecting beauty products. However, a small number expressed willingness to give the brand a second chance, contingent upon Azarine taking responsibility for its actions and improving transparency in its communications. Conversely, while brand popularity can serve as an initial draw, the study concludes that it is insufficient to sustain consumer trust in the face of ethical breaches. Respondents noted a decline in Azarine's popularity following the incident, emphasizing that a brand’s reputation is not solely built on recognition but also on ethical integrity. Ultimately, this research underscores the necessity for brands like Azarine to enhance their ethical standards and transparency to rebuild consumer trust and maintain a competitive edge. Recommendations for future research include exploring the relationship between product quality, innovation, and consumer trust in greater depth. By understanding these dynamics, companies can develop more effective strategies that align ethical practices with consumer expectations, thereby fostering long-term relationships built on trust and credibility

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of retail business management in class XI students of the Department of Online Business and Marketing where there are still students who have learning outcomes below the KKM. This study aims to determine the effect of using E-Learning and learning motivation on student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This research was conducted in class Xl BDP 1 and 2 SMK Negeri 7 Medan with a population of all students of class XI Online Business and Marketing, amounting to 68 people. Data was collected by means of observation, documentation and questionnaires. Then the data collected is processed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS Version 23 software. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the use of E-Learning and Learning Motivation has an effect on Learning Outcomes. This can be seen from the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained equation Y= 7,864 + 0,833X1 + 0,323X2. Furthermore, from the results of the study, it was obtained that the use of E-Learning (X1) had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (Y) as indicated by the t-valuecount of 3.365 > ttable 1.995 with a level of significant 0.001 < 0.05. Learning Motivation (X2) on Learning Outcomes (Y) with a t-valuecount of 2.099 > t-table 1.995 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously (F test) is indicated by theF result valuecalculated of 5.839 > Ftable 3.13 with a significant level of 0.005 < 0.05, so it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the coefficient of determination test, it was obtained that R2 was 0.533, meaning that the percentage of the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable was 53.3% and the remaining 46.7% was influenced by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low student achievement in office technology subjects and the low parental attention and learning motivation of class X OTKP students at SMK PAB 2 Helvetia for the 2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extrinsic motivation (Parental Attention) and Intrinsic motivation (learning motivation) on learning achievement of class X office technology OTKP SMK PAB 2 Helvetia in the 2022/2022 academic year. This research is a population study where all students of class X OTKP SMK PAB 2 Helvetia which consists of 3 classes totaling 88 people and the sampling method in this study is total sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, to test the hypothesis using the t test and F test and the coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the results of research and data processing, it can be seen that the regression equation Y = 12.621 + 0.402X1 + 0.433X2. From the results of the F test, it is found that Fcount > Ftable (71.421 > 3.10) with a research significance of 0.000 with a significant level of of 0.005 that the significance value of the study is smaller than the significance of = 0.005 (0.00 < 0.005). Based on this, the hypothesis is accepted so that it can be concluded that the variable has a positive and significant influence simultaneously between the variables of parental attention (X1) and learning motivation (X2) on the achievement of class X OTKP SMKS PAB 2 Helvetia students (Y). The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.627 or 62.7%. This shows that the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 62.7% and the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to determine whether self-confidence partially affects the Public speaking of students of Office Administration Education Study Program Stambuk 2021, whether communication skills partially affect the Public speaking of students of Office Administration Education Study Program Stambuk 2021, and whether self-confidence and communication skills simultaneously affect the Public speaking of students of Office Administration Education Study Program Stambuk 2021 Medan State University. This type of research is ex post facto with a quantitative approach. The research population is all students of Office Administration Education Study Program Stambuk 2021, totaling 85 people from two classes with total sampling technique. Data collection with initial observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that there was a significant influence between self-confidence and communication skills on Public speaking of Office Administration Education Students Stambuk 2021 Medan State University by 82.2%, while 17.8% was explained by other variables not included in this study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajarsarana prasarana siswa di kelas XI MPLB SMKN 6 MEDAN dengan penggunaan internetsebagai media pembelajaran dan gaya guru dalam mengajar. Sehingga dapat menjadimasukan bagi Lembaga Pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan untuk dapatmengevaluasi penerapan model pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah KuantitatifExpofacto dengan metode Random Sampling. Analisis data dengan uji normalitasKolmogrov Smirnov. Uji instrumen menggunakan validitas, reliabilitas,Uji AsumsiKlasik,Uji Normalitas Data,Uji Linearitas, Uji Multikolinearitas, Analisis RegresiBerganda,Uji Hipotesis,, Uji t,Uji Koefisisen Determinasi R2. Berdasarkan perhitunganstatistik,Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Gaya Mengajar Guru TerhadapHasil Belajar Siswa Pada mata pelajaran Sarana Prasarana Kelas XI MPLB di SMK Negeri6 Medan Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025 yang dapat dibuktikan melalui thitung 2.028 > ttabel1,697. Hasil Uji F menunjukkan nilai Fhitung sebesar 8.980 dan nilai signifikannya adalah0,001. demikian Fhitung> Ftabel atau nilai sig <0,05, maka hipotesis diterima. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmenganalisis pengaruh pengalaman Praktik Lapangan Persekolahan II (PLP II) dan motivasimengajar terhadap minat mahasiswa/i menjadi guru pada Program Studi Pendidikan AdministrasiPerkantoran Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Pengalaman merupakan peristiwa yangtelah terjadi dan mengandung unsur perasaan, emosi, kejadian, keadaan, serta kesadaran. PLP IIadalah proses observasi dan pemagangan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa program sarjanapendidikan untuk mempelajari aspek pembelajaran serta pengelolaan pendidikan di satuanpendidikan. Sementara itu, motivasi mengajar merupakan dorongan yang muncul secara sadar daridalam diri individu untuk melaksanakan tindakan guna mencapai tujuan tertentu. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran stambuk 2021 yangberjumlah 88 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, dan analisis data menggunakan regresilinear berganda. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen variabel pengalaman PLP IImemiliki koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,876, motivasi mengajar sebesar 0,946, dan minat menjadiguru sebesar 0,890. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)Terdapat pengaruh positif dansignifikan antara pengalaman PLP II terhadap minat menjadi guru. (2)Terdapat pengaruhpositif dan signifikan antara motivasi mengajar terhadap minat menjadi guru.(3)Terdapatpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara pengalaman PLP II dan motivasimengajar terhadap minat menjadi guru.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the satisfaction with academic administrative services and lecturer performance, as well as their impact on student loyalty at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan. The research employed a qualitative method involving 20 students as respondents. Each student completed a form containing open-ended questions based on indicators of each research variable. The results showed that most students were satisfied with academic administrative services, particularly in terms of ease of information access and the professional attitude of administrative staff. Lecturer performance was also rated positively, especially in mastering the subject matter, using engaging teaching methods, and openness to discussion. Student loyalty was reflected in their desire to complete their studies at the faculty, a sense of pride, and willingness to recommend the faculty to others. However, the speed of administrative services and lecturers' responsiveness to student inquiries still need improvement. These findings indicate that satisfaction with academic administrative services and lecturer performance contributes positively to the level of student loyalty toward the institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan analisis pengaruh sistem reward dan punishment terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan di CU Suka Damai. Pendekatan yang dipakai kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 karyawan dan dianalisis dengan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil riset memperlihatkan bahwa sistem reward dan punishment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada tingkat disiplin kerja karyawan dengan koefisien regresi sejumlah 0,738 dan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Implementasi reward berupa bonus dan penghargaan kinerja memotivasi karyawan, sedangkan punishment yang diterapkan secara adil memberikan efek jera sehingga meningkatkan kepatuhan terhadap aturan kerja. Dengan demikian, penerapan sistem reward dan punishment secara seimbang dan proporsional sangat disarankan untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

Fenomena mahasiswa yang bekerja sambil menjalankan studi semakin umum terjadi, khususnya di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kepuasan kerja (job satisfaction) dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap performa mahasiswa pekerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 50 mahasiswa dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang diukur menggunakan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,615 (p < 0,05). Artinya, semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan mahasiswa pekerja, semakin tinggi pula motivasi berprestasi mereka. Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya faktor lingkungan kerja dan dukungan institusi dalam meningkatkan performa akademik mahasiswa yang bekerja
