Abstract

Village funds management and its accountability reports in Indonesia are very important since it relates directly to many people in villages and deal with significant amount of funds. The accountability of village fund is also beneficial for the sustainability of the local government development. This study tries to deconstruct the accountability of the village funds using samples from eight villages in Tempel district, Sleman regency, Special Province of DI. Yogyakarta. The village heads, village secretaries, members of the village management board, and village treasurers were selected as the main informant. The validity of the data was done by several tests namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Results indicate that the accountability of village fund management in the observed sample sites covers vertical accountability, horizontal accountability, social accountability and spiritual accountability. This study imply that the ongoing accountability performed by the village fund managers is accountability in the perspective of both the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

The achievement of successful regional development managed by the Local Government through the Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) cannot be separated from professional human resources. They play a very important role in the processes and activities of the Regional Apparatus. Human resources will design, install, operate, and maintain an integral system of the organization. This study aims to determine the influence of participatory leadership and work discipline on work motivation mediated by job satisfaction at the Regional Planning and Development Agency of Sleman Regency. The survey was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to all civil servants at the Regional Planning and Development Agency of Sleman Regency, a total of 51 respondents. The sampling method used was saturated sampling or census. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS analysis. The results of the study found that participatory leadership did not have a positive and significant effect on the work motivation of civil servants of the Sleman Regency Bappeda. Work discipline had a positive but insignificant effect on the work motivation of civil servants of the Sleman Regency Bappeda. Job satisfaction did not mediate the influence between participatory leadership and work motivation, and job satisfaction successfully mediated the influence between work discipline and work motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of career development and management support on employee performance of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Wonosari Branch Office mediated by employee engagement. This study uses Partial Least Square to determine the relationship so that researchers use the Smart PLS application to determine the relationship between employee performance variables. The sample in this study were employees within the scope of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Wonosari Branch Office totaling 90 employees. This study uses quantitative data by distributing questionnaires to all samples studied. Based on outer testing, this study passed the validity and reliability tests. While based on the Inner model, the results show that management support positively has a significant positive effect on employee engagement. However, career development on employee performance, management support on employee performance, career development on employee engagement, management support on employee engagement, has no significant effect. For PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Wonosari Branch Office, it is recommended to further improve company facilities in this case management support and career development in order to improve employee performance in the future. For further research, it is expected to increase the number of respondents, because the amount of research data greatly affects the results of the analysis.

Abstract

Chain management focuses on integrating and managing the flow of good, service and information through the supply chain in order to make it responsive to customer needs while lowering total cost. Supply chain require close collaboration, cooperation, and communication among members to be effective. Supplier, and their customer must share information. It is the rapid flow of information among customers, suppliers, distributors, and producers that’s characterizes today’s supply chain management. Distorted information or the lack of information, such as inaccurate demand data or forecast. from the customer end can ripple back upstream through the supply chain and magnify demand variability at each stage, is know as the bullwhip effect.

Abstract

Kerajinan Batik Tulis Giriloyo, Desa Wukirsari, Kabupaten Bantul menjadi salah satu tujuan utama bagi wisatawan yang ingin mencari kain batik tulis yang dapat dijadikan sebagai oleh-oleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja ukm yang dimediasi oleh orientasi belajar dan strategi diferensiasi pada UKM Batik Giriloyo di Desa Wu-kirsari Kabupaten Bantul dengan sampel sebanyak 35 UKM batik. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukan semua hipotesis didukung antara lainnya adalah (1) Orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UKM pada UKM Batik Giriloyo, (2) Orientasi kewirausahaan ber-pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UKM yang dimediasi oleh orientasi belajar pada UKM Batik Giriloyo, dan (3) Orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja UKM yang dimediasi oleh strategi diferensiasi pada UKM Batik Giriloyo. Bisa direkomendaikan ecara praktis sebaiknya UKM Batik Giriloyo dapat meningkatkan sistem pemasaran dan metode pemasarannya yang melalui media sosial meskipun hal itu telah dilakukan oleh pemilik usaha.

Abstract

TQM has been proposed as a global advanced strategy to achieve quality goods and services that result in superior operational performance of SMEs. This study aims at the effect of TQM on product innovation, process innovation, and operational performance of SMEs and examines the effect of product innovation and process innovation on SME performance. Tests were also conducted to examine the influence of product innovation mediation variables and innovation processes on the relationship between TQM and SME operational performance. The study approach was carried out by collecting data through questionnaires through surveys. The respondents in this research were recycling-based SMEs in Sleman Regency, totaling 80 SMEs. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that TQM has a positive and significant effect on product innovation, process innovation, and operational performance of SMEs and product innovation and process innovation also has a positive and significant effect on SME performance. In addition, product innovation and process innovation positively and significantly mediate the relationship between TQM and SME operations. The results of this study have a theoretical contribution for future researchers and a practical contribution for business people, especially SMEs in order to continue to improve their operational performance.

Abstract

Introduction/Main objectives: Determine the superior service quality provided by Matahari Department Store and what attributes can satisfy customers. Background problems: Quality service is something that can distinguish one retail store from another. Consumers will compare the service received with what is expected. The quality of this service will then look good or not from the consumer's perception of the entire service process received, not the basis of the perception of the service provider. Novelty: Research about service quality using the integration of Kano Model and House of Quality in retail industry is limited. Research methods: It used integration of Kano Model and House of Quality (HoQ) with PT Matahari Department Store as the object and customer as informants. Service quality attributes are taken from Servqual. Data gathered using observation, interview, and questionnaire. Finding/Results: (1) provide input to PT. Matahari Department Store regarding strategies that can improve service quality, by identifying and prioritizing service attributes that can meet customer needs using the Servqual method and the integration of the Kano Model with the House of Quality, (2) provide input on attributes that can be developed to improve customer satisfaction. Conclusion: (1) from the identification of service quality attributes using servqual, 1 attribute with a gap score of 0 is obtained and 16 attributes have a negative score, (2) from the combined results of Servqual with Kano Model classification, 12 attributes are obtained with category O (One Dimensional) which can improve the quality of service to customers and 5 attributes with category M (Must Be), (3) from the results of the integration of Servqual and the Kano Model which is included in the House of Quality, there are 6 technical responses above an average of 6% which can be used to meet customer expectations for service quality, so that they can satisfying customers

Abstract

Introduction/Main objectives: This research was conducted with the aim of being able to identify the risk factors that arise in the delivery of goods, determine a good and effective strategy to deal with the risks and impacts that arise in the delivery of goods and make risk management that is right on target with the house of risk (HoR) method to solve problems from goods delivery activities. Indonesia is one of almost countries affected by Covid-19, as a result of this there is a change in the trend of public spending where 90% of their daily needs are met through online shopping. As a result of this trend change, many logistics companies have experienced an increase in demand for goods delivery services, but it is undeniable that this is directly proportional to the problems that arise and the new risks faced by these logistics companies, such as J&T Express. Therefore, researchers conduct study in order to reduce the impact of the risks. Research methods: The sample was taken at a freight forwarding company in Yogyakarta, namely J&T Express. Finding/Results: The findings of this study obtained that there are 21 Risk Events identified with 21 Risk Agents, from the results of risk agents and risk events identified 3 priority risk agents for preventive action, namely (A1) or the impact of Covid-19, the ‘PSBB’, service hours public/office, travel/delivery area restrictions by the community, goods sent not on schedule. (A3) or the recipient's address is wrong, the recipient of the package does not want to pay the bill, the package is damaged, natural disaster and (A11) or the time the package is received by the customer exceeds his estimate (the package was received late). Conclusion: The selected risk agents have been determined based on the application of the Pareto diagram are further analyzed using the House of Risk table phase 2, and obtained 7 mitigation actions or preventive actions (PA). Based on 7 precautions (PA) obtained the highest priority for strategic planning is (PA2) or making reference to the schedule for distributing goods that are adjusted to the new Covid-19 norms with an ETD value of 2472.8 and the lowest strategic planning priority, namely (P4) or refreshment related to product knowlage, SOPs, package handling information with an ETD value amounted to 532
