Abstract

Public nutritional awareness is an important factor in realizing a healthy diet and balanced lifestyle. Health education methods have a vital role in increasing understanding and awareness of nutrition among the public. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of health education methods in increasing public nutritional awareness. The method in this research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving various groups of people with social and educational backgrounds. The educational methods used consist of several methods with educational material about nutrition. Data was collected through questionnaires before and after the educational intervention was carried out. The results of this research show an increase in the level of public nutritional awareness after implementing health education methods. Respondents who took part in the education program showed better knowledge about nutritional value, healthy eating patterns, and their impact on health. Apart from that, participants also showed more positive behaviour regarding food choices and a healthy lifestyle. The conclusion of this research is that the health education method has proven to be effective in increasing public nutritional awareness. Implementing educational programs can influence people's knowledge, attitudes and behaviour regarding nutrition and health. This provides a strong basis for continuing to develop and improve health education efforts to create a society that is more aware of the importance of nutrition in maintaining health and well-being.

Abstract

PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) di tatanan rumah tangga adalah upaya untuk menyadarkan keluarga dan masing-masing anggota keluarga agar memilki kemauan dan kemampuan dalam mempraktikkan PHBS. Angka kesakitan dan kematian penyakit infeksi dan non infeksi dapat dicegah dengan PHBS. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap dengan PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) di Desa Wale-Ale Kecamatan Tongkuno Selatan Kabupaten Muna Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi sebanyak 409 ibu rumah tangga sedangkan sampel sebanyak 80 ibu rumah tangga yang diambil dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ada hubungan pengetahuan dengan PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) dengan nilai p=0.000 dan ada hubungan sikap dengan PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat) dengan nilai p=0.000. Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan PHBS (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat). Diharapkan kepada rumah tangga khususnya ibu untuk lebih meningkatkan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap. Abstract

 Abstrak Makanan jajanan merupakan makanan yang sering dikonsumsi oleh anak usia sekolah untuk memenuhi nutrisi pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Namun terkadang makanan jajanan yang tersedia tidak terjamin kebersihannya. Menurut Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (2017) Sebanyak 106 kejadian keracunan makanan terjadi di wilayah Indonesia dan banyak jajanan yang tidak memenuhi syarat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap anak usia sekolah tentang pemilihan makanan jajanan sehat di SDI Tamamaung 1. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDI Tamamaung 1 pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2022. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V dan Kelas VI, sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 52 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan anak usia sekolah Di SDI Tamamaung 1 memiliki pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 33 orang (63.5%) dan yang memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 19 orang (36.5%). Dan Sikap anak usia sekolah Di SDI Tamamaung 1 memiliki sikap baik sebanyak 30 orang (57.7%) dan yang memiliki sikap kurang sebanyak 22 orang (42.5%). Diharapkan kepada anak usia sekolah agar membawa bekal dari rumah dan diharapkan kepada pihak sekolah untuk memberikan penyuluhan mengenai makanan jajanan sehat. Serta melakukan pengawasan kepada penjaja makanan di sekitar lingkungan sekolah SDI Tamamaung 1.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Jajanan Sehat AbstractSnacks are foods that are often consumed by school-age children to fulfill their growth and development nutrition. But sometimes the available snacks are not guaranteed cleanliness. According to BPOM (2017), a total of 106 food poisoning incidents occurred in the territory of Indonesia and many snacks did not meet the requirements. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of knowledge and attitudes of school-age children about the selection of healthy snacks at SDI Tamamaung 1. This research was conducted at SDI Tamamaung 1 from July to August 2022. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive design. The population in this study were grade V and grade VI students, the sample of this study amounted to 52 people. The results showed that the knowledge of school-age children had less knowledge as many as 33 people (63.5%) and who had good knowledge as many as 19 people (36.5%). And the attitude of school-age children has a good attitude as many as 30 people (57.7%) and who have a poor attitude as many as 22 people (42.5%). It is expected that school-age children should bring lunch from home and it is expected that the school will provide education on healthy snacks and supervise food vendors around SDI Tamamaung 1.Keywords: Knowledge, Attitudes, Healthy Snack

Abstract

Abstrak penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh work family conflict dan stres kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi guru wanita di sekolah Muhammadiyah Matraman pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner 50 guru wanita. Analisis data diolah menggunakan SPSS statistic. Skala pengukuran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala Likert. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner melalui google form. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa work family conflict memiliki pengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi, stres kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi dan work family conflict dan stres kerja memiliki pengaruh komitmen organisasi.Kata kunci : work family conflict, stres kerja, komitmen organisasi. AbstractThis study aims to determine how much influence work family conflict and work stress have on the organizational commitment of female teachers at the Muhammadiyah Matraman school during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 50 female teachers. Analysis of the processed data using SPSS statistics. The measurement scale in this study uses a Likert scale. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires via google form. The results of this study indicate that work-family conflict has an influence on organizational commitment, work stress has an influence on organizational commitment and work-family conflict has an influence on organizational commitment.Keyword : work family conflict, stres kerja, komitmen organisasi

Abstract

Latar Belakang: HIV/AIDS sampai saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Salah satu kelompok yang berisiko tertular virus HIV adalah remaja. Pendidikan kesehatan bagi remaja sangat penting sebagai upaya pencegahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja.Metode: Studi ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental "The One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design" di SMK 3 Gowa. Sebanyak 22 siswa dipilih secara aksidental sebagai sampel. Intervensi berupa ceramah interaktif diberikan, dan pengetahuan diukur menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon.Hasil: Terdapat 21 responden (95,45%) mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dengan rata-rata peningkatan tersebut cukup tinggi (Mean Rank = 11,98). Hanya 1 responden (4,55%) yang mengalami penurunan skor, dengan penurunan yang kecil (Mean Rank = 1,50). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p=0,000.Kesimpulan: Metode penyuluhan berupa ceramah efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Background: HIV/AIDS remains a significant public health issue globally, with adolescents being one of the most at-risk groups due to various risky behaviors. Limited access to comprehensive information contributes to the continued transmission of HIV within this age group. Objectives: This study aims to describe the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS among adolescents in Indonesia. Methods: A systematic review was conducted by examining articles published between 2010 and 2024 that align with the study objectives. Ten relevant studies were identified and analyzed. Results: Among the studies reviewed, four reported that adolescent knowledge of HIV/AIDS was categorized as "good." Three studies indicated a "moderate" level of knowledge, and another three revealed a "poor" level. Conclusions: These findings highlight the ongoing need to enhance comprehensive HIV/AIDS education among Indonesian adolescents. Strategies should include school-based education programs, community outreach utilizing various accessible media, and integration of reproductive health education into the school curriculum.

Abstract

Cleanliness and body odor are major and important factors of personal hygiene and appearance. If a person's body smells good, their self-confidence will be higher. Using soap and water as a body wash when bathing is relatively ineffective in preventing body odor. So several other alternative actions can be taken, such as using anti-body odor cosmetic preparations (deodorant). This research aims to determine whether grapefruit peel (Citrus maxima) essential oil can be formulated as a spray deodorant that meets physical quality requirements and to determine its antibacterial effectiveness on Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus. The method used in this research is experimental with a formula design divided into four formulas, F0 without essential oil, F1 with the addition of 0.5% essential oil, F2 with the addition of 1% essential oil, and F3 with the addition of 1.5% essential oil. The finished doedorant preparation was then subjected to organoleptic testing, homogeneity, pH, dry time, spraying pattern, cycling test for 6 cycles, and antibacterial activity test. The results of this research show that grapefruit peel (Citrus maxima) essential oil can be made into a spray deodorant that meets physical quality requirements. The results of the research show that the formulation has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, with an F1 inhibition zone of 0.5% 3.8 mm (weak), F2 1% 4.5 mm (weak), F3 1.5% 15.2mm (strong). In Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria, the inhibition zone is F1 0.5% 3.5 mm (weak), F2 1% 4.6 mm (weak), and F3 1.5% 14.8 mm (strong).

Abstract

The gap in healthcare access between urban and rural areas has become a significant issue, especially in developing countries. Geographic challenges, a shortage of healthcare workers, and limited infrastructure are the main barriers for rural communities in obtaining adequate healthcare services. Telemedicine technology has emerged as a potential solution to bridge this gap by enabling remote healthcare access through digital platforms. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of telemedicine in improving healthcare access in rural areas. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and case studies in several villages that have adopted telemedicine technology. The data collected were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns related to the benefits and challenges of telemedicine implementation.The research findings indicate that telemedicine can reduce geographical barriers and enhance access to healthcare services, particularly in medical consultations and chronic condition monitoring. However, the study also reveals several challenges in its implementation, such as limited digital infrastructure, low technological literacy, and cultural resistance to new technology in some rural communities. In conclusion, telemedicine offers a promising solution to bridge the healthcare access gap in rural areas, but effective implementation requires adequate infrastructure support, community training, and supportive policies. Further research is recommended to explore ways to overcome these challenges to improve the acceptance and effectiveness of telemedicine in rural regions.
