Abstract

This study aims to fill the research gap related to the implementation of effective educational strategies in increasing religious tolerance and moderation, which has not been explored empirically. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected from academic literature, articles, official documents, then analyzed using a comparative approach to compare educational strategies implemented in various Islamic institutions. The results showed that the integration of the concepts of religious tolerance and moderation in the Islamic education curriculum has improved the values of togetherness, patience and justice among students. The most effective educational strategies include contextual approaches, interfaith dialog and community activities. Factors such as social environment, government policies and socio-economic status play an important role in supporting the implementation of these strategies. The implications of the findings suggest the need for more comprehensive Islamic education curriculum development, teacher training to teach tolerance values, and collaboration between educational institutions and the community. This research contributes to the development of Islamic education theory by strengthening the role of education as an agent of social change.

Abstract

AbstractThis article explores the relationship between government and society found in Q.S An-Nisa' (4): 58-59 using Qira’ah Mubādalah. Qira’ah Mubādalah is a method involving two parties that embodies the concepts of reciprocity and collaboration between the two involved parties. The steps of the study are as follows: First, determine and authenticate the Islamic teachings contained in global books that serve as the foundation for comprehension; second, identify the primary ideas contained in the texts to be analyzed; third, deduce from the second step the gender that is not indicated in the text from the text's major premise. The data source for this qualitative study is publications on the topic. According to the findings of this study, the government and society must rebuild reciprocal ties to create post-pandemic progress. This article also discusses the education and health sectors. According to the author, these two sectors are among the other two that require repair and renewal.Keywords: Covid-19; Government; Mubādalah; QS. an-Nisa: 58-59; Society. AbstrakArtikel ini mendiskusikan tentang hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat yang terdapat dalam Q.S An-Nisa’ (4): 58-59 dengan menggunakan Qira’ah Mubādalah. Qira’ah Mubādalah merupakan pendekatan yang melibatkan dua belah pihak yang di dalamnya terkandung nilai-nilai kesalingan dan kerja sama antara dua belah pihak yang berkaitan. Adapun langkah-langkahnya Pertama, menentukan dan menegaskan prinsip dalam ajaran Islam yang terdapat dalam teks-teks universal yang menjadi dasar dari pemahaman. Kedua, menemukan pemikiran inti yang tersimpan dalam teks-teks yang akan dilakukan penafsiran. Ketiga, menurunkan ide pokok dari teks yang terdapat dalam langkah kedua kepada jenis kelamin yang tidak disebutkan dalam teks. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif yang sumber datanya berasal dari artikel-artikel yang terkait dengan tema ini. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa pemerintah dan masyarakat seyogyanya membangun kembali hubungan yang resiprokal sehingga dapat menciptakan kemajuan pasca pandemi. Artikel ini pula menyoroti dua sektor, yakni: pendidikan dan kesehatan. Yang kedua sektor ini menurut penulis salah dua dari sektor lain yang harus diperbaiki dan diperbaharui. Abstract

Background. Discussions about the use of headscarves by women seem to force women to cover their genitals completely without seeing the purpose of their use. Through Husein Muhammad's study that there are things that are far more important, namely security for women or men.Aim. This article aims to reveal Husein Muhammad's view of women's genitalia.Methods. This literature study took various reference about women's genitalia, uses an epistemological interpretation analysis framework to discuss the sources, methods, and validity of interpretations.Results. Husein studied women's genitalia based on the Holy Qur'an, Hadith, and ijma' 'ulama by applying five methods, namely: first, making the goal of sharia (maqashidusy sharia) as the main basis of interpretation; second, analyzing the socio-historical aspects (as-Siyaqut taarikhil ijtima’i) of the cases in the text; third, analyzing the language and its context (as-Siyaqul orali); fourth, identifying the causal aspect in the text as an analogical way of thinking for the needs of a new social context, now and here (qiyasul ghaib 'alasy syahid), and; fifth, conducting a critical analysis of the sources of hadith transmission (takhirjul asanid) and criticism of matan (naqdul matn). The validity of Husein's interpretation was tested through the application of three theories of truth, namely coherence, correspondence, and pragmatism.

Abstract

The importance of this research is to examine the concept of ulul albab and its implications for character education. The research method used in this study is qualitative library type. The primary data source is Tafsir Quraish Shihab and the secondary data sources are books, articles, and proceedings. The data collection technique is documentation and the data analysis stage of this research uses content analysis techniques. The results in this study indicate that the implication of the concept of ulul albab in Tafsir Al-Mishbah Q.S Ali Imran Verse 190-191 is the role of reason as a remembrance in all circumstances and thinking with reason. Both of these activities will lead to knowledge in the human intellect. This will lead to the perfection of reason and spiritual intelligence. Spirituality education that is done correctly will make a person have an optimistic spirit, face life with a positive spirit, and see the world as a place to realize the common good. Thus, good spirituality will form a good character as well.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the implementation and impact of the Madrasah Ramah Anak (MRA) concept on the disciplinary character of students. This study uses a qualitative approach of field research type. This research took place at MAN 1 Sleman. Data collection was conducted through interviews and purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that the MRA program has been implemented following Sekolah Ramah Anak's (SRA) component. They are child-friendly school policy, educators and education personnel trained in children's rights and SRA, child-friendly learning process, child-friendly facilities and infrastructure, and child participation. MRA provides significant changes by shifting rewards and punishments towards a more humanist approach. The implementation of MRA, which is based on Albert Bandura's modeling theory, allows students to imitate the behavior of educators and peers. This modeling involves all madrasah stakeholders. The positive impact is the application of the principle of justice and increased networking with external parties such as BKKBN and Puskesmas. Then, the negative impact is the weakening of students' disciplinary attitude because they seem to feel safe from punishment. The solutions include involving students in competitions and formulating rules-related class agreements. This research is expected to make a scientific contribution to the formation of disciplinary character, especially through the concept of MRA.
