The type of study used in this research is qualitative, subjected at group units based on the critical paradigm with multiple case analysis. Based on the research result the Indonesian public administration has not yet been able to adopt a thorough institutional reformation in the broadcasting world which is represented by KPI. The article explains the contestation and commodification of ideology in changing patterns of extremist movements in society. Ideological problems are studied using a political sociology approach to describe the relationship between Pancasila values and peaceful verses in Islam with the phenomenon of changing movement patterns of terrorist networks in Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative method that explains the data descriptively so that the construction of the data is understood as the result of interpretations that have plural dimensions or depend on the analytical point of view. The primary sources for this research are documents related to the themes of Pancasila values and peaceful verses in the Koran and patterns of building immunity against extremism. The data processing process based on some documents was carried out using the content analysis method using the descriptive analysis method. Ideological identity in contestation in Indonesia is only one of the differentiation strategies to win public sympathy. Identity politics, which is often associated with radicalism and fighting between religious groups, is different from what happens in politics in other countries. The phenomenon of the life of the Nahdlatul Ulama and Shi'a community in Jepara, which tends to be peaceful and quick in resolving conflicts based on religious ideology, is at least influenced by awareness of the values of Pancasila as a common consensus.

Ultimately, Islam experiences ideological contestation, including the construction of the hijra movement through a socialized understanding of Islamic law. This article explores the discourse of the hijra movement applied Salafism using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, which focuses on text, practice, and socio-cultural analysis. Therefore, the research data includes affiliated online publications and religious practices observed in Salafism religious forums in Bogor, Depok, and Jakarta. The results demonstrated that the hijra movement through digital media has become a strategic arena for the Salafi group in disseminating the Puritan narrative among middle-class Muslims, while Moderatism prioritizes tolerance and pluralism. Salafi group succeeded in captivating these Muslims who preferred to acquire Islamic understanding through online media rather than traditional religious forums to profess Salafism even though of internal conflict within Salafism. Abstract

This article explores the contestation of ideology and commodification of identity within Indonesia’s political democracy. The interplay between religion and the state presents significant challenges, influencing political movements aligned with religious convictions. Employing a political sociology approach, this study examines the contention between factions advocating for the integration of religion and the state and those supporting their separation. Additionally, the analysis considers the relationship between identity commodification and ideological contestation, highlighting Pancasila’s role as a national consensus. A qualitative methodology provides in-depth insights, incorporating content and descriptive analysis to process information from various documents. Primary materials for this research encompass documents related to Pancasila values, identity commodification, and political contestation. The politicization of identity in Indonesia, characterized by the dichotomy between nationalist Islam and secular nationalism, is depicted as a strategic maneuver aimed at achieving power dominance. There are three political groups that will continue to color Indonesian politics because they have different perceptions of the relationship between religion and the state: Islamist groups who want to unite religion and state, secular groups who want to separate religion and state, and accommodative groups who place religion as a source of ethics and the moral basis of policy.

Abstract

This study aims to map the application of language learning strategies based on Rebecca L. Oxford's theory in her book Language Learning Strategies: What Every Teacher Should Know for four primary skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis, this study analyzed direct (memory, cognitive, compensatory) and indirect (metacognitive, affective, social) strategies. Data were collected through a literature review and analyzed using the content analysis method based on Klaus Krippendorff's framework. The results showed that memory strategies significantly affected listening and reading skills, cognitive strategies were applied evenly across all skills, while compensatory strategies focused more on speaking skills. Metacognitive and affective strategies are important for learning management, and social strategies support all language skills. The findings guide educators in designing effective teaching methods, particularly in Arabic language learning.
