Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membuka peluang baru dalam inovasi pembelajaran anak usia dini, khususnya dalam mendukung keterampilan literasi dan numerasi. Namun demikian, masih banyak lembaga PAUD yang belum optimal memanfaatkan teknologi dalam proses belajar, termasuk di wilayah Kecamatan Kutawaluya, Kabupaten Karawang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan pemetaan aset komunitas, perencanaan aksi bersama, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan refleksi kolaboratif. Subyek kegiatan adalah guru-guru dari beberapa lembaga PAUD di Kutawaluya yang menunjukkan komitmen terhadap perubahan pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penggunaan media digital oleh guru, munculnya kelompok belajar guru (komunitas praktik), serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan belajar anak di rumah. Transformasi sosial juga mulai terbentuk, ditandai dengan munculnya pemimpin lokal, peningkatan kerja sama antarlembaga, dan terbentuknya pranata baru yang mendukung ekosistem pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis aset komunitas mampu menciptakan perubahan berkelanjutan dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama pada konteks pendidikan anak usia dini di daerah dengan akses terbatas terhadap inovasi teknologi.

Abstract

Furunculosis in fish results in financial detriment to freshwater aquaculture in Indonesia. Furunculosis, an infectious disease produced by Aeromonas salmonicida, presents a considerable risk to the large-scale farming of both salmonid and non-salmonid species in freshwater environments. This study sought to evaluate the impact of Spirulina platensis extract on the histopatological intestinal health of tilapia infected with Aeromonas salmonicida. Thirty tilapia, each around 10 cm in length, were distributed into five groups. Negative control (P0-) without immersion in Spirulina platensis extract and free from Aeromonas salmonicida infection. Positive control (P0 +) not immersed in Spirulina platensis extract, infected with Aeromonas salmonicida. Tilapia subjected to doses of 400 mg/L (P1), 600 mg/L (P2), and 800 mg/L (P3) The extraction of Spirulina platensis occurred for three hours on the seventh day (first immersion) and the fourteenth day (second immersion), followed by an evaluation of Aeromonas salmonicida infection on the twenty-first day. A necropsy of the fish was performed on day 28. Histopathological analysis revealed that Spirulina platensis extract reduced intestinal villous erosion and inflammatory cell density in the intestines of tilapia. Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated a decrease in the presence of Aeromonas salmonicida within intestinal tissue at a dosage of 800 mg/L. This work indicates that more research is necessary to examine the histological features of the intestines of tilapia infected with Aeromonas salmonicida with those supplemented with Spirulina platensis through feed.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Tuberkulosis (TB) paru merupakan penyakit infeksi yang di sebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium Tuberculosis yang menyerang paru-paru. Tuberkulosis (TB) ialah penyakit menular yang paling umum dan masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global yang signifikan Penyakit Tuberkulosis disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan perilaku yang kurang baik dari keluarga tentang Tuberkulosis. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan keluarga dengan perilaku pencegahan penularan tuberkulosis paru di Desa Sukaluyu Kabupaten Cianjur Tahun 2024. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Total Sampling pada responden sebanyak 32 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner. Hasil: Pengetahuan keluarga tentang Tuberkulosis Paru di Desa Sukaluyu sebagian besar dari responden yaitu 18 (56,3%) yang memiliki pengetahuan baik dan  pengetahuan yang kurang baik hampir setengahnya dari responden yaitu 14 (43,8%).

Abstract

Since the global COVID-19 pandemic, traditional classrooms have no longer become accessible for everyone. Most teaching and learning process is conducted virtually. The use of interactive and dynamic pedagogy is needed to maintain the quality of learning, especially that enhance argumentation and literacy skills. This research aims to examine whether there are differences in literacy and argumentation skills of Indonesian university students before and after the implementation of Collaborative Reasoning (CR) approach during online learning. A quasi-experimental one-group pretest-and posttest design was employed. A total of 30 students taking Communication and Gender course were involved in this research. We developed a Reading Comprehension Test (RCT) to collect the literacy scores of the students and Cognitively Based Assessment of, for, and as Learning (CBAL) Argumentation Progression to measure argumentation scores. Using a paired samples t-test, the literacy and argumentation scores of the students before participating in CR were compared to their scores after participating in CR. The literacy and argumentation scores were significantly higher after participating in CR. This finding indicates that there is an increase in literacy and argumentation scores over time that was not likely to be due to chance. It is pivotal then for language educators to consider CR in their classrooms.

Abstract

At higher education, students at the end of the study are required to write a final project. Writing English papers is challenging and might create writing anxiety. Therefore, it is necessary to look at what strategies are used by the teachers and their effect on anxiety levels and performance. Furthermore, it is also crucial to accommodate students’ perceptions of the strategies so that students’ voices provide valid information on how the classroom should be. This research uses a mixed-method methodology to analyze lecturers' anxiety-reduction strategies and students' perceptions of them.  Three instruments were used to collect data, namely a Second Language Writing Anxiety Inventory (SLWAI), open-ended questions about the perception, and students’ writing scores. A paired sample t-test was used to compare students' writing anxiety and performance before and after treatment. Content analysis was used to assess student opinions of the strategies. The statistics showed that students' writing anxiety fell from high (71.35) to moderate (66.47). Meanwhile, students' writing grade rises from 72.00 to 79.03. SPSS analysis showed that anxiety-reducing strategies significantly affect writing anxiety and student performance (p = 0.000). Consequently, this study's findings should be beneficial in writing classes.

Abstract

Abstrak Kehidupan manusia erat kaitannya dengan numerasi, Persepsi 'sulit' yang ditanamkan para peserta didik untuk numerasi seringkali menjadi alasan mengapa mereka tidak menyukai untuk mempelajarinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu metode khusus yang dapat secara perlahan menggantikan persepsi tersebut dengan persepsi bahwa literasi numerasi itu asyik dan sangat berguna bagi kehidupan sehari-hari. Cara yang tepat untuk peningkatan literasi numerasi anak usia dini adalah dengan bermain sambil belajar. Pada akhirnya dipilih media permainan ular tangga raksasa dengan penerapan model ATIK (Amati, Tiru, Kerjakan) dimana anak belajar numerasi dengan cara bermain yang menyenangkan dan dapat dijadikan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dimana peneliti hanya ingin mengetahui bagaimana keadaan variabel itu sendiri tanpa ada pengaruh atau hubungan terhadap variabel lain seperti penelitian eksperimen atau korelasi dan peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen kunci dan melakukan melukiskan suatu keadaan secara objektif atau berdasarkan fakta-fakta yang tampak. Guru dalam hal ini harus memberikan pijakan yang lengkap dan dapat dipahami oleh anak sesuai dengan model ATIK. Abstrack Human life is closely related to numeracy, the 'difficult' perception that students instill in numeracy is often the reason why they do not like to learn it. Therefore, we need a special method that can slowly replace this perception with the perception that numeracy literacy is fun and very useful for everyday life. The right way to increase early childhood numeracy literacy is to play while learning. In the end, the media for the giant snake and ladder game was chosen with the application of the ATIK (Observe, Imitate, Work) model where children learn numeracy by playing in a fun way and can be used as an effort to improve numeracy literacy in early childhood. The method used is a descriptive research method where the researcher only wants to know how the state of the variable itself is without any influence or relationship to other variables such as experimental research or correlation and the researcher acts as a key instrument and describes a situation objectively or based on visible facts. . In this case, the teacher must provide a complete and understandable footing for children according to the ATIK model.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas 3 SDN rungkang 02, Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam 4 (empat) tahap, yaitu perencanaan, implementasi, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 SDN rungkang 02 yang berjumlah 25 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran matematika materi bilangan cacah. Hasil sebelum dilakukan tindakan yaitu pada pra siklus hanya 8 siswa atau 32% yang tuntas, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 17 siswa atau 68% yang tuntas belajar matematika dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 23 siswa yang tuntas belajar matematika atau 92%. Penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil karena mencapai indikator kinerja yaitu ≥ 80% dari seluruh siswa dengan KKM ≥ 70. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, Matematika, Problem Based Learning. APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE MATHEMATICS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN GRADE III STUDENTS OF SDN RUNGKANG 02 ABSTRACT The problem behind this research is the low student learning outcomes in mathematics learning for grade 3 students at SDN Rungkang 02, Brebes Regency. This research uses classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 25 grade 3 students at SDN Rungkang 02. The instruments used in this research are tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that learning using the Problem Based Learning model can improve learning outcomes in mathematics subjects involving whole numbers. The results before action was taken were that in the pre-cycle only 8 students or 32% had completed it, in the first cycle it had increased to 17 students or 68% who had completed studying mathematics and in the second cycle it had increased again to 23 students who had completed studying mathematics or 92%. This research was said to be successful because it achieved a performance indicator of ≥ 80% of all students with a KKM ≥ 70. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Mathematics, Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Sukasetia Village in Cihaurbeuti District has great potential to be developed into a sustainable agrotourism destination. This study focuses on identifying agrotourism development strategies in the Sukapulang area using participatory methods involving local communities as the main stakeholders. This study used qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that agrotourism development can provide significant economic benefits, such as creating alternative sources of income and preserving local culture and traditions. In addition, agrotourism also increases community involvement and encourages sustainable tourism practices that are in line with global trends. However, there are several challenges, such as inadequate infrastructure, limited access to information, and less than optimal promotional strategies. This study recommends improving infrastructure, digital promotion, and capacity building programs to empower local communities. These strategies aim to ensure the sustainability and long-term competitiveness of agrotourism initiatives. The findings suggest that with collaborative efforts involving local communities, government, and the private sector, Sukasetia Village can become a model for community-based sustainable tourism development in rural areas, providing positive impacts on economic and social growth.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of public attention and concern in preserving folklore passed down by their ancestors, especially Sundanese fairy tales. This research aims to describe the intrinsic elements which include: theme, plot, characterization, setting, message and point of view of the fairy tale. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source for this research is a collection of famous Sundanese fairy tales from West Java. The results of the research show that there is the same major theme in which the fairy tales studied carry the theme of life. The plot of each fairy tale is divided into exposition, complication and resolution (advanced and mixed plot). Characterization includes characters, characters and the way the characters are conveyed. The point of view conveyed by the three fairy tales is the same, namely, the point of view of the third person or the author as narrator. Most fairy tale settings take place in a village, a royal palace and a forest. Every fairy tale contains a message that is conveyed either explicitly or implicitly. These three fairy tales are included in the classic fairy tale category.

Abstract

Sampah sayuran dan kulit buah termasuk ke dalam sampah organik yang sebenarnya masih memiliki kandungan berupa protein dan serat kasar. Permasalahan sampah organik yang menumpuk di Kota Palangkaraya menyebabkan bau yang kurang sedap dan menyebabkan penyakit. Salah satu bentuk pengelolaan sampah adalah menggunakan sistem 3R (Reduce, Reuse dan Recycle). Upaya untuk memanfaatkan sampah organik tersebut adalah mengolahnya menjadi pupuk cair organik. Pupuk cair organik juga memiliki beberapa kelebihan dibandingkan dengan pupuk kimia, di antarannya adalah pembuatannya relatif cepat, unsur hara pada pupuk cair lebih mudah terserap tanaman, dan tidak merusak tanah bahkan bisa memperbaiki kesuburan tanah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menyosialisasikan pemanfaatan limbah organik rumah tangga mengolahnya menjadi pupuk cair organik. Pembuatan pupuk cair organik ini dibantu dengan Effective Microorganisme (EM-4). Dengan kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta dapat mempraktikkan kembali ilmu yang didapat untuk dapat membuat pupuk cair di rumah dan bisa menjadi solusi permasalahan sampah yang ada di Kota Palangkaraya.
