Abstract

Armstrong and Baron's theory states that teacher performance can be influenced by individual factors (personal factors), leadership factors (leadership factors), group factors / colleagues / work teams (team factors), system factors (system factors), and situational factors (contextual / situational factors). Teamwork that is formed in general will certainly lead to performance. However, in the realm of education, it is not necessarily able to bring out good performance as expected. The purpose in writing this article is to examine more deeply the influence of teamwork on the performance of teaching staff at Yamama Lampung Junior High School. The method used in writing this scientific article uses quantitative research methods, using ex post facto techniques or models. The population in this study amounted to 55 people with sampling techniques using the Krejcie & Morgan formula or table and sampling around 43 respondents. The results obtained based on the data and research results show that there is a negative and insignificant influence between the work team on teacher performance at Yamama Lampung Junior High School. The teacher work team at Yamama Lampung Junior High School that has been formed looks good and solid, so it will not affect the high or low performance of teachers in carrying out their main duties.

Abstract

Training can make the human resources of educational institutions more competent and professional, while development aims to trigger human resources to channel their innovation and creativity. The writing of this scientific article uses a qualitative method. Data is obtained through observation, where the researcher functions as an instrument to make observations, in-depth interviews with primary data sources and study documentation. Based on the data from the research, educators at the school strongly support the existence of training programs in improving the quality of education. With training, human resources or educators can develop all aspects of their abilities in accordance with their main tasks and functions. The development of human resources or educators at SMA N 1 Kalianda, South Lampung Regency has been running well. However, the implementation of the training program has not been maximized, and the results obtained in the development of human resources or teaching staff at SMA N 1 Kalianda, South Lampung Regency need improvement actions in the implementation aspect. So that the training program that has been planned runs according to the desired expectations. Although something perfect is impossible, but in modern times like this, educational institutions or agencies are required to continue to try to maintain and improve what is their goal.

Abstract

The Human Resources (HR) management system used must be in accordance with the needs of the organization, so that the recruitment process is not just filling employee vacancies or just getting ordinary HR, but highly dedicated and professional HR in their fields. The purpose of writing is to examine and analyze further how the teaching staff recruitment system in improving the quality of education carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. The method of writing this scientific article uses a qualitative method. Data is obtained through observation, where the researcher functions as an instrument to make observations, in-depth interviews with primary data sources and study documentation. The results of the educator recruitment process at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung are: Recruitment implementation, The series of new educator recruitment activities at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung develops according to the needs of the school and always learns from the experience of recruiting previous educators. The school forms a team to recruit the required educators, then distributes e-flyers or announcements to attract applicants or educators through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, WhatsApp, and websites with Muslim or Muslimah qualifications, love the world of education, able to work with the team, minimum education S1 according to major.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset in an organization/company, especially in an educational institution, so it is very important that existing human resources can be planned as well as possible, for the realization of organizational/institutional goals. The purpose of writing is to find and examine more deeply about human resource management in improving the quality of education at MTs Al Khairiyah Kaliawi Bandar Lampung. The method of writing this scientific article uses a qualitative method. Data is obtained through observation, where the researcher functions as an instrument to make observations, in-depth interviews with primary data sources and study documentation. The data were analyzed with interactive analysis through 3 activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are HR planning is designed and arranged systematically and based on school independence by taking into account the characteristics of the school, HR recruitment is carried out by prioritizing the principles of professionalism, selection is judged to have fulfilled professional elements, training conducted has had a positive impact and influence both for schools and personnel, work appraisal is carried out using two aspects, namely quantitative and qualitative aspects, compensation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the approach of the principal of SMP 2 PGRI Bandar Lampung in advancing MGMP as an effort to professionalize teachers. Education functions as a means of growing character, ethics, as well as mental and physical strength. Teachers play a central role in guiding students to their best potential, and this principle has an important role in fostering teachers' professional growth. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with the data collection method being interview, observation, and analysis of documentation data, while the data source is the principal and some teachers. The results of this study are that school principals have successfully implemented the MGMP strategy without obstacles, through the provision of facility support, resources, and encouragement of active participation of teachers. In addition, a structured coaching program, teachers are involved in MGMP activities every two months, and are given periodic feedback and evaluations. The principal also connects MGMP activities with curriculum needs, encourages collaboration between teachers, and facilitates access to advanced training. Overall, the strategies implemented are able to create an environment conducive to the development of teachers' competencies, so that they can be active in planning, implementing, and assessing learning. The implication of the research is that schools that want to maximize the role of MGMP in improving the quality of teachers can optimize the MGMP program which is driven by school principals, assisted by teachers and supported by students.

Abstract

Globalization and the digital era have a significant impact on Islamic education, especially in terms of preserving and incorporating Islamic values into the curriculum.  The purpose of this research is to examine how Islamic education faces challenges and opportunities in maintaining core values amidst globalization.  Data were collected using a descriptive qualitative method through literature studies and interviews with Islamic education experts experienced in curriculum development.  Research results show that the Islamic education curriculum must be adjusted if it is to remain relevant and effective in shaping students' character in the modern era.  Utilizing technology to deliver content in a more interactive and engaging way must uphold fundamental principles such as morality, ethics, and spirituality.  So, in order for Islamic education to play its best role in facing the challenges of globalization, the curriculum must be adjusted while maintaining Islamic values.  This research provides educators and policymakers with insights into the importance of developing a curriculum that combines the application of technology and the preservation of Islamic values.

Abstract

The issue of educational policy in Indonesia has become a major concern in efforts to improve human resource quality and global competitiveness. This article aims to analyze the issues of educational policy in Indonesia through a literature review approach. The study identifies key problems such as disparities in educational access, teaching quality, and curriculum relevance to labor market needs. By reviewing various literatures from journals, reports, and academic sources, this article offers a new perspective to formulate more inclusive and adaptive policies. The findings show that educational policies integrated with technology and tailored to local needs have significant potential to enhance the effectiveness of the educational system.
