Abstract

This research was conducted with the purpose of knowing the change mechanical properties of Al - Cu squeeze casting product which applied  heat treatment and quenching. This study uses Al with the addition  of 2% and 4% Cu,with the squeeze casting pressures applied are 100, 200, 300 and 400 bar.  Heat treatment temperature constant at 520 ° C and 90 minute holding time. The heat treatment results were observed using Optical Microscopy with 800 times magnification and the hardness was measured using the Vickers hardness test method. . The highest result of hardness is on the pressure  400 bar with the addition of 4% Cu which is 120.53 VHN and the average percentage of the most Al2Cu compounds is 23.125%. Heat treatment followed by quenching process significantly increase the hardness, it is  because of the more solid and smaller granular shape due to quenching

Abstract

Jatropha curcas oil is a seed oil or bio-oil, which has advantages compared to others plant’s seed-oil.  The advantage of this oil is due to the fact that Jatropha oil does not compete with the food sector. In this research, the potential carrier oil testing was conducted to seek a way in improving the performance of Jatropha oil as lubricant oil, coolant or biodiesel. For this purpose, Jatropha oil was mixed with the other carrier oils in the variation of 0 – 45 %. Each variation was tested to obtain kinematic viscosity and density values. The results of this research was the carrier oils has the potential to be used as the mixing material since it can improve the physical properties of Jatropha oil, before the next process. Kinematic viscosity and density of Jatropha oil decreases as more percentage of mixed carrier oil was added.

Abstract

Electroplating is a process of settling substances (metal ions) on the electrodes (cathodes) using electrolysis. The occurrence of a precipitate in this process is due to the presence of electrically charged ions moving from an electrode through the electrolyte, the result of the electrolyte will seal on another electrode (cathode). During the process of deposition/deposit takes place a chemical reaction occurs at the electrode and electrolyte both reduction in a certain direction permanently, therefore it requires direct current and a constant voltage. Metal coatings commonly used are copper, nickel, chromium, and others. Electroplating is basically to coat the metal to make it look more attractive and protected from corrosion, and can increase the product's resistance to friction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stirrer rpm variations on the thickness and thickness of the A36 steel layer in the decorative nickel-chrome electroplating process. 4 specimens in this study were 30x30x2 (mm). Nickel and chromium coatings have variations in the speed of 72, 102, 132, and 162 (rpm) with a time immersion of 22 minutes and with a temperature of 55-60 ° C. The results of this electroplating process were tested by Vickers's hardness test and observation of microstructure results. The results showed that the faster the rpm, the more hardness was obtained which increased and the thickness of the layer increased. The highest hardness and thickness values are found at a rotational speed of 132 rpm. With a hardness value of 77.5 VHN and a thickness value of 4.55 µm (Nickel) and 13.76 µm (Chrome).

Abstract

Perubahan model evaluasi tidak otomatis mengubah wajah pembelajaran yang di dalam kelas, tetapi paling tidak akansangat mempengaruhi suasana pem-belajaran. Sistem evaluasi merupakan komponen penting dalam proses belajarmengajar di kelas. Salah satu model evaluasi yang sedang berkembang dan efektif, memiliki banyak manfaat baik bagiguru maupun siswa adalah model penilaian jenis portofolio. Evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh guru kurang valid danreliable, as-pek yang dinilai oleh guru kurang lengkap, serta adminstrasi guru dalam bidang penilaian juga sering tidaklengkap. Model penilaian yang diharapakan mampu mengungkap dan menilai peserta didik lebih akurat dan lebihlengkap didasarkan pada bukti (dokumen) yang dipunyai oleh masing-masing siswa. Penilaian portofolio adalah suatu penilaian yang bertujuan mengukur se-jauh mana kemampuan siswa dalammengkontruksi dan merefleksi suatu peker-jaan atau tugas atau karya dengan mengoleksi atau mengumpulkan bahanbahanyang relevan dengan tujuan dan keinginan yang dikontruksi oleh siswa, sehingga hasil kontruksi tersebut dapatdinilai dan dikomentari oleh guru dalam periode ter-tentu. Jadi penilaian portofolio merupakan suatu pendekatan dalampenilaian ki-nerja siswa atau digunakan untuk menilai kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa melalui penilaian jenis portofolio, prestasi belajar siswaditinjau dari jenis kelamin dan pengaruh penerapan penilaian jenis portofolio pada pembalajaran matematika ter-hadapprestasi belajar ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Pendekatan ini menggunaan pendekatan kuantitatif yaitu adakah pengaruh penerapan penilaian jenis portofolio padapembelajaran matematika terhadap pres-tasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari jenis kelamin di MTs Negeri Kadugede. Adapunteknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, tes dan angket. Kemu-daian dianalisis dengan uji normalitas,uji homogenitas dan menggunakan anova dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian belajar menggunakanpenilaian jenis portofolio pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas VIII MTs Negeri Kedugede. Setelah di ujimenggunakan anova dua jalur ternyata memiliki perbe-daan prestasi belajar siswa antara portofolio dokumentasi,portofolio penampilan dan portofolio proses berdasarkan jenis kelamin karena memiliki nilai F hitung sebesar 0,963dengan signifikannya 0,385. Dalam uji multiple comparisons me-nunjukan portofolio penampilan perempuan yangpaling bagus dengan nilai mean 80,412 dengan nilai 75,850 sampai 84,974. Tidak terdapat perbedaan prestasi bela-jardilihat dari jenis kelamin karena Fhitung<Ftabel yaitu 1,98<3,96 maka hipotesis ditolak, terdapat perbedaan prestasibelajar berdasarkan jenis portofolio Fhi-tung>Ftabel yaitu 15,318>3,96 maka hipotesis diterima. Tidak terdapatpengaruh an-tara jenis portofolio dalam meningkatkan prestasi matematika ditinjau dari jenis kelamin yaituFhitung<Ftabel atau 0,963<3,96 maka hipotesis ditolak.Kata Kunci : Portofolio, system evaluasi

Abstract

Depletion of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases is an essential issue in the development of the automotive industry. From the design stage, material selection becomes the most crucial factor. Therefore, this article discusses the development of lightweight automotive materials for increasing fuel efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Material reliability is assessed by how much weight reduction can be achieved, production costs, safety and durability. Ferro materials (mild steel, High Strength Steel, and Advanced High Strength Steel), non-ferrous (aluminium and magnesium alloy), and Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) have been proven to reduce the total weight of vehicles up to 12.6%. Confirmation of statistical data from the literature illustrates the possibility of using lightweight material to achieve zero CO2 emission. In addition, the 12.6% weight reduction still meets the vehicle safety factor.

Abstract

Jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.) merupakan salah satu komoditi perkebunan tropis yang memiliki potensi sebagai  pengganti bahan bakar minyak. Biji jarak pagar mengandung kadar minyak cukup tinggi dan sangat potensial sebagai bahan baku biodiesel.  Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan informasi tentang tingkat produksi biji, kualitas crude jatropha oil dan biodiesel  J.curcas Linn. sebagai sumber biofuels. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Kedung Pengaron Pasuruan dan Laboratorium Teknologi Minyak Nabati Universitas Muhammadiayh Malang. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok empat ulangan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa genotip J.curcas berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap rerata jumlah buah per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, berat kering biji per tanaman dan kadar minyak biji. Jumlah buah per tanaman dan berat kering biji per tanaman yang dihasilkan genotip JCUMM (JCUMM-5, JCUMM-6, JCUMM-7, JCUMM-18) lebih tinggi daripada kontrol IP3A dan IP3P. Jumlah biji per tanaman berkisar 91,3 (IP3P) hingga 236,6 (JCUMM-5). Berat  kering 100 biji dari berbagai genotip J.curcas berkisar antara 64,1 g (JCUMM-6) hingga 69,7 g (JCUMM-5) sedangkan kadar minyak biji berkisar antara 39,5% (JCUMM-6) hingga 57,7% (JCUMM-7). Hasil uji esterifikasi menunjukkan hasil Free Fatty Acid dari crude jatropha oil berkisar antara 0,2% (JCUMM-18) hingga 1,97% (IP3A). Seluruh genotip memiliki kadar FFA kurang dari 2% sehingga masih layak dipergunakan sebagai bahan biodiesel. Nilai bilangan asam yang diperoleh antara 2,9 mg-KOH/g (JCUMM-6) hingga 6,40 mg-KOH/g (IP3A). Sedangkan bilangan Iodine diperoleh hasil antara 94,5 g I2/100g (JCUMM-5) hingga 102,4 g I2/100g (JCUMM-6)

Abstract

The main problem for new cake entrepreneurs is the traditional way of managing the industry. Because most business people start from small capital, with modest resources, traditional product manufacturing, product packaging is very simple using plastic mica. So the problems faced by new business people will have difficulty competing to win the hearts of consumers. Therefore this assistance was carried out in a number of steps including counseling on production and K3 management, file preparation and registration, counseling from the DHO, visitation and improvement, issuance of P-IRT certificates and attractive and healthy product packaging design. After going through a long stage, in the end the partner succeeded in obtaining 2 P-IRT certificates with the MOH RI number P-IRT number 8063507023008-24 for Apple Pie cakes and number 8063507013008-24 for the Fill Apple Pie cakes Keywords: service, P-IRT, packaging, pia cake.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scenario and implementation of learning for fourth grade elementary school students, to find out teacher responses and student responses and to find out the difficulties faced by students during learning using cooperative learning models, greeting techniques and questions. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The instruments are used through observation, questionnaires, interviews and tests. Learning is related to student achievement, student learning achievement results will increase with a pleasant classroom atmosphere. Creating a pleasant classroom atmosphere is by applying learning models, one of which is the cooperative model of sending greetings and questions. Through the cooperative learning model, the technique of sending greetings and questions, students can practice their ability to make their own questions and answer questions made by their friends, so that students will better understand the material taught by the teacher. Thus, the application of the cooperative learning model of greeting techniques and questions will be able to improve the PPKn learning process in schools to be more effective, because students can actively participate in the learning process and the learning outcomes achieved will be better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the variation of the depth of cut (DOC) on the surface roughness and serration gram (DOS) in the 6061 aluminum turning process using medium speed. In this study the infeed depths used were 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm by testing the surface roughness using a roughness tester, and testing the teeth gram (DOS) using the SEM (Scaning Electron Microscope) tester. The value of surface roughness (surface roughness) in relation to the depth of cut (DOC) in 6061 aluminum material using a conventional lathe has increased, while the value of the dentition gram (DOS) to the depth of cut (DOC) in the aluminum 6061 lathe process at a depth of 0.5 mm figure shows the percentage of DOS 31.8 percent then continues to decrease with increasing depth of ingestion on the lathe. Based on the research results, the increase in the surface roughness value was due to heat generation which resulted in damage to the chisel resulting in high surface roughness. In addition, variations in the depth of cut gave a negative effect by showing a decrease in the number of serrations in grams, which made it difficult to break and would result in eye damage. chisel

Abstract

Pawon Ning Nur is one of the UMKM affected by Covid19, because students have returned to their hometowns. So that what was originally a business in the form of a food stall, has turned into a frozen food business, especially Bandeng Otak-otak. Marketing difficulties due to not having a Halal certificate prompted the team to provide assistance. The team consists of lecturers and students of PMM-Mitra Dosen. The objective this activity was to familiarize Occupational Safety and Health when pursuing for halal certification of Small and Medium Enterprise. The methods consist of administrative assistance for registration of halal certificates, assistance when inspections are carried out by BPOM, helping to fulfill requirements and findings, as well as conducting OSH training, and providing assistance with production equipment. The results were obtained which satisfied UMKM partners because the activities fulfilled several aspects, Partners obtain Halal Certificates with the number LPPOM JI-07030005171221. Partners have understood and implemented Occupational Health and Safety (OSH). Partners also received safe production equipment donation.
