Abstract

This research aims at investigating kinds of meaning and sense relation contained in QS al-‘Alaq according to commentators. This research used qualitative method which was focused on library research. This research used a multidisciplinary approach which seeks to study and discuss objects from several disciplines or relate them to different disciplines i.e interpretive and semantics approaches. The data collected was proceed using qualitative research method and used descriptive analysis technique for data analysis and interpretation. Semantics is to study the meaning of each word that is used as interpretation Word to interpret the verses in QS al-‘Alaq according to some commentators based on semantics theory in general. The result of the study showed that kinds of meaning that was used by commentators in interpreting verses in QS al-‘Alaq consisted of some kinds of meaning, they are reference meaning, root or dictionary meaning, connotative meaning and denotative meaning. Meanwhile the sense relation between verses and the interpretation occurred in four kinds of relation namely synonymy, polysemy, hyponymy, and hypernymز Discussion about semantics studies is certainly very broad, particularly when using tafsir book as the object of study. Hence this research hopefully can become a reference for other researchers especially those who are involved in the field of Arabic in order to always study and examine arabic works including tafsir book. In addition, this research is expected to give contribution to the development of science.

Abstract

This research is related to the management of Arabic language skills in the Arabic Language Teaching Division, College of Education and Schooling, Mataram Islamic State University. This research aims to analyze the management of the Arabic language skill, and to define and analyze the impact of implementing the Arabic language skill management in the Arabic Language Teaching Division, College of Education and Schooling, Mataram Islamic State University. This research uses the descriptive qualitative approach. The method of collecting data is observation, interview and documentation. The observation was used to obtain information related to the activity and conditions in the Arabic Language Skills Department in the Arabic Language Teaching Division, College of Education and Schooling, Mataram State Islamic University. The interview was conducted to obtain data and information related to the management of the Arabic language skill in the Arabic Language Teaching Division, College of Education and Schooling, Mataram Islamic State University. As for the documentation method, it is used to obtain data and information related to the image of the Arabic language skill management in the Arabic Language Teaching Division, College of Education and Schooling, Mataram Islamic State University. Managing the Arabic language skill in the Arabic Language Teaching Division is done in an open manner between the president and the lecturer. As well as the application of teaching Arabic language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. And teaching students the Arabic language skill in quality management from the first to the last and from the first level to the next.

Abstract

Qira'ah ability (reading Arabic text) is a basic competency for students of the Arabic Language Education (PBA) study program at Makassar State University (UNM). However, the limitations of conventional learning methods often hinder the improvement of this ability. Therefore, this study aims to optimize qira'ah ability through the Daurah Nahwiyah Digital program based on interactive technology. This study uses qualitative methods through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of interactive technology in Daurah Nahwiyah Digital is effective in improving students' understanding of nahwu rules and improving reading skills. Thus, the integration of technology in qira'ah learning can be a solution in improving the competence of PBA UNM students in understanding and reading Arabic texts.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower members of the Majelis Taklim in improving the quality of learning the Qur'an through the Wafa Method. This method combines a right-brain approach that emphasizes imagination, rhythm, and visualization to memorize and understand the Qur'an in a fun, effective and efficient way. The target of this activity is the Majelis Taklim which has so far used conventional methods in learning the Qur'an. Training is provided in the form of interactive workshops and intensive mentoring for one month. The results show an increase in enthusiasm, reading skills, and memorization of the Qur'an of the participants. The right-brain approach has been proven to help participants focus more and enjoy the learning process. Thus, the Wafa Method can be used as a fun, effective and efficient empowerment strategy to improve understanding of the Qur'an in the Majelis Taklim environment.

Abstract

AbstractDeveloping maharatul kalam (the ability to speak Arabic) is very important in the digital era to form individual students who are able to communicate effectively in local and global contexts. This research aims to analyze the approaches, methods and implications of developing digital-based maharatul kalam at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Lombok. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and document study. The research results show that communicative and technology-based approaches have a significant influence in improving students' speaking skills. Methods such as role play, online discussions, and the use of Arabic learning applications are effective in motivating students to be more active and confident in speaking. In addition, digital technology allows students to study independently through online platforms, such as YouTube, Zoom, and language learning applications. The implication of this research is the need to integrate technology in the Arabic language learning curriculum and strengthen students' digital literacy. With the right approach and methods, developing maharatul kalam not only improves students' speaking skills, but also forms a generation that is adaptive and competent in facing global challenges.Keywords: Development, Maharatul Kalam and Digital Based.

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the development of bi’ah lughawiyah as a strategy to strengthen maharah al-kalam for students and lecturers of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) of Makassar State University (UNM). The background of this research is the need to create a conducive Arabic language environment to encourage communicative speaking skills, both in academic and non-academic contexts. The method used is a descriptive conceptual approach with analysis and enrichment of initial observation results in the PBA UNM environment. The results of the study indicate that the development of bi’ah lughawiyah is effective if designed through three ecological layers: 1) the micro level in the form of task-based language teaching in the classroom and the use of targeted translanguaging, 2) the meso level in the form of co-curricular activities such as Arabic Day, debate clubs, and Lughah Corner, and 3) the macro level in the form of study program policies that regulate the use of Arabic among lecturers. This model is able to improve students’ fluency, accuracy, and confidence, while strengthening lecturers’ competence. This article emphasizes that the development of bi'ah lughawiyah is not only cultural, but also strategic in building an academic culture and developing the maharah al-kalam of Arabic at PBA UNM.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of teachers in Arabic language learning at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung Lombok. The role of teachers is very crucial in creating an effective, efficient and enjoyable learning process, especially in the context of Arabic language learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teachers play various strategic roles, namely as learning planners, facilitators, motivators, and evaluators. Teachers also play a role in developing contextual learning strategies that are appropriate to local conditions and student characteristics. Despite limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers continue to strive to innovate in teaching Arabic through the use of simple media and communicative approaches. These findings emphasize the importance of improving pedagogical competence and teacher professionalism in order to improve the quality of Arabic language learning. This study provides implications for policies to improve teacher quality and develop local-based curricula that support optimal Arabic language learning.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower majelis taklim through Qur'anic ecological education that is relevant to the local geography. The activity was carried out during the month of Ramadan, a strategic moment to enhance spiritual and environmental awareness. The education focused on understanding the Qur'anic verses related to the environment and their application in the local community context. The method of service employed a participatory qualitative approach, involving the administrators and members of the majelis taklim. The results showed an increase in contextual ecological understanding and awareness. This proves that the integration of Qur'anic values with the local geographical context can be an effective educational strategy.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to optimize the Arabic speaking skills of students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Makassar State University through the application of roleplay media. Speaking ability is one of the productive skills that requires intensive practice, a communicative atmosphere, and contextual learning media. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design model. The results of the study indicate that the use of roleplay media can increase students' activeness, courage, and fluency in speaking Arabic. These findings indicate that roleplay-based learning is effective in learning Arabic speaking skills because it provides a real and interactive communicative experience.
