Abstract

Penggunaan perangkat lunak bajakan masih dianggap biasa di kalangan masyarakat. Penggunaan perangkat lunak bajakan bisa dikurangi dengan jalan berpindah ke penggunaan perangkat lunak Open Source. Penggunaan Open Source juga bermanfaat sebagai pendorong perbaikan karakter masyarakat secara luas. Karakter yang terkait erat dan hal ini adalah sifat jujur dan menghargai nilai-nilai yang berkembang di masyarakat. Perangkat lunak open source belum banyak digunakan di SMA Negeri 12 Semarang. Keberadaan laboratorium komputer di sekolah tersebut memungkinkan untuk memperkenalkan Open Source Sofware bagi guru dan staf administrasi. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan mengadakan sosialisasi perangkat lunak Open Source di SMA N 12 Semarang. Tahap selanjutnya adalah melakukan instalasi, mengadakan pelatihan dan praktik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah berhasil melakukan sosialisasi perangkat lunak open source di SMA N 12 Semarang. Para peserta juga telah berhasil menggunakan peangkat luak tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop student worksheet-based discovery learning with EPUB extension to develop students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is Research and Development using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by questionnaires and tests. The validity of teaching materials is tested using a media validation sheet and the feasibility test uses a questionnaire. The data on students' critical thinking skills were obtained from the pretest and posttest results. The results of the study obtained valid learning media to develop critical thinking skills. The results of the assessment of the feasibility of learning media by material experts were obtained 80% with valid criteria, assessment by media experts was obtained 78.12% with valid criteria. Based on the results of the N-gain test and statistical tests that have been carried out, the use of LKPD with the EPUB extension material of Elasticity and Hooke's Law in effective learning is to develop students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The Magnetic Field is an abstract physics material since the object cannot be seen. Learning the media, in the form of modules, equipped with an Android applications, can be used as solutions to improve learning outcomes and visualize magnetic fields. This study aims were to develop a physics module, equipped with an Android application on the magnetic field around the current wire and determine the feasibility of the media being developed. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model. The product of this research is a physics learning module and an Android application that has been tested on media experts, material experts, and students. For data collection method in this study, were used 3 methods, there are questionnaire, documentation, and interviews. The data processing method used a Likert scale, which consists of a score of 1 to 5. The feasibility test result of module obtained a score of 88.89%, which was categorized as very feasible and Android application obtained a score of 90.53% which was in the very feasible category. Based on the score and category obtained, the physics learning module equipped with an Android application is stated feasible for learning.

Abstract

The current topic that is interesting as a solution of the impact of public service improvement toward vehicle is License Plate Recognition (LPR), but it still needs to develop the research of LPR method. Some of the previous researchs showed that K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) succeed in car license plate recognition. The Objectives of this research was to determine the implementation and accuracy of Otsu Method toward license plate recognition. The method of this research was Otsu method to extract the characteristics and image of the plate into binary image and KNN as recognition classification method of each character. The development of the license plate recognition program by using Otsu method and classification of KNN is following the steps of pattern recognition, such as input and sensing, pre-processing, extraction feature Otsu method binary, segmentation, KNN classification method and post-processing by calculating the level of accuracy. The study showed that this program can recognize by 82% from 100 test plate with 93,75% of number recognition accuracy and 91,92% of letter recognition accuracy.

Abstract

Issue handling of inadvertence situations in the decision-making process of recruiting new employees at PT. Warta Media Nusantara that use criteria value of interviews, field test, a psychological test and medical check-up requires Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) as an auxiliary method of decision-making on the prospective eligible employee to be accepted in the company. There are various MADM methods, such as Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and Weighted Product (WP) method. Both of these methods are known as the most common method used in handling MADM issues, so in this study both methods are applied to the DSS and analyzed the differences in terms of obtained results and the execution time required for each method. The results of the study of the application of SAW and WP methods in the recruitment of new employees DSS there are some differences in the results of the candidates rank order and the differences in execution time of each method. The differences in rank order of these methods are due to the effects of alternative values, weighting criteria, and the calculation method. WP method is able to provide more rigorous result than SAW method, while the difference in execution time of SAW and WP methods explains that the execution time of SAW method relatively quick because SAW calculation method has a simpler process than the process of WP calculation methods

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah berkembang pesat dalam bidang pendidikan dengan lahirnya e-learning. E-learning dapat membantu guru dalam memantau keaktifan siswa dengan penugasan, forum diskusi maupun aktivitas lain, sehingga karakter dapat dideskripsikan melalui e-learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Software Learning Management System (LMS). LMS adalah aplikasi perangkat lunak untuk kegiatan online, program pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning program) dan isi pelatihan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyelidiki respon dari siswa terhadap LMS dan menguji keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep serta mengembangkan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan. Uji produk menggunakan Pre Experimental Design dengan jenis Pretest and Posttest One Group Design. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket uji ahli, angket tanggapan, tes tertulis dan lembar observasi karakter. Teknik analisis data uji kefektifan menggunakan uji gain. Hasil tanggapan siswa untuk keseluruhan aspek mendapatkan prosentase diatas 82,5% kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji gain pemahaman konsep sebesar 0,56 dengan kategori sedang, artinya LMS efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Sedangkan uji gain karakter 0,16 kategori rendah, artinya belum efektif mengembangkan karakter siswa.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Media CD interaktif dikembangkan agar memberi ragam atau variasi belajar, sehingga siswa akan lebih tertarik dan termotivasi dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang dikemas dalam bentuk CD.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan.Pada penelitian ini, produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh pakar kemudian dilakukan pengujian skala kecil dan skala besar.Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah data validasi produk oleh pakar, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap CD interaktif, serta hasil belajar siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CD interaktif yang dikembangkan layak berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat meningkatkan nilai hasil belajar siswa.  Instructional media used to assist teachers in implementing the teaching and learning activities. Interactive CD media developed to provide a wide variety of learning, sostudents will be more interested and motivated to learn. This research aims at producinga viable and effective use of learning integrated science learning media that packaged inCD. Themethod in this research is research and development. In this research,the product that has been developed and validated by expert it is tested in small and large scale then. The data analyzed in this study is data product validation data by experts, questionnaire responses of teachers and students on an interactive CD, and student learning outcomes. The results showed that the developed interactive CD feasible based on the results of the validation performed by the expert and effective use in learning because it can increase the student learning outcome.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA yang memadukan konsep fisika, kimia, dan biologi lebih berpotensi untuk mengembangkan pengalaman dan kompetensi peserta didik memahami alam sekitar. Pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi kurang optimal dalam pemanfaatan lingkungan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran maka perlu dikembangkan CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang layak digunakan berupa CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi dengan siswa kelas VIII B, VIII F dan VIII G sebagai subyek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan motode Research and Development (R & D) Four-D Model. Hasil penelitian pakar menunjukkan CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal valid dan sangat layak digunakan. Tanggapan siswa terhadap pemahaman tentang kearifan lokal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 94,19%. CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji-t menunjukan terjadi perbedaan secara signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa CD pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran, serta dapat meningkatkan kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal yang ada di lingkungan sekitar.  Science learning process that combines the concepts of physics, chemistry, and biology is potential to develop the experience and competence of the learners’ understanding about the nature around us. Science learning in SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi was inadequate in using the environment and use of instructional media, therefore it is necessary to develop local wisdom-based learning CD. This study aims to develop a viable learning medium used in the form of local wisdom-based learning CD. The research was conducted in grade VIII B, VIII F and VIII G of SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi as research subjects. The study was Research and Development (R&D) Four-D Model design. Validation showed that local wisdom-based learning CD is valid and very suitable as learning media. Student responses to understand the local wisdom had increased to 94.19%. Local wisdom-based learning CD can increase student’s interest in local knowledge and student learning outcomes. The results based on t-test showed that there was significant difference between the learning before and after using the local wisdom-based learning CD. It can be concluded that the local wisdom-based learning CD is effective in applying local wisdom in the learning process, and can increase student’s interest in local culture that exists in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Guru membutuhkan alat yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu menyampaikan materi pelajaran. Alat bantu yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi yang bersifat abstrak adalah media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA Terpadu yang diterapkan dengan kegiatan lesson study. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran dengan proses pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D). Pada penelitian ini, produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua pakar dan kemudian dilakukan ujicoba. Uji coba dilakukan pada uji coba skala terbatas dan skala luas. Data yang dianalisis adalah data penilaian oleh pakar untuk mengetahui kelayakan awal produk, angket tanggapan guru dan peserta didik, data tim ahli lesson study mengenai keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan keefektifan media pembelajaran yang juga digunakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk.  Teachers need instrument to help them to communicate learning material. One of the media that teachers could use to communicate abstract materials is Integrated Science learning media. This research developed learning media in which implementated in lesson study activities. The aim of the research was to produce a learning media that supports and improve learning process. This research used Research and Development (R & D) methodology. The product of the research validated by two experts and brought to try outs which were conducted on two scales: limited-scale and wide-scale. The data analyzed in the research were the experts’ assessment to find out the product’s initial feasibility, the students’ and teachers’ responses through questionnaire, lesson study’s data from the expert team about the learning process and the effectiveness of the media which was also used to determine the product’s feasibility.

Abstract

Berdasarkan Permendiknas No. 22 tahun 2006 pembelajaran IPA seharusnya dilakukan secara terpadu. Namun kenyataannya belum ada perangkat pembelajaran IPA secara terpadu dan media yang mampu memaparkan keterpaduan bidang kajian IPA. Tema mata mempelajari konsep abstrak yang membutuhkan media untuk menggambarkan konsep abstrak menjadi pengalaman konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Berdasarkan validasi pakar, tanggapan guru dan siswa serta hasil evaluasi siswa, maka media interaktif layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema mata. Based on the  Regulation of National Education Minister (Permendiknas) Number 22 year 2006, educating science should be done integratedly. However, in fact integrated science learning equipment and media that can represent the integration of study in science field have not been provided well. The theme “eye” studies about the abstract concepts which need media to represent them into concrete experiences. This research aims to produce a feasible and effective integrated science learning media to be used in teaching- learning process. Research method used in  this study is Research and Development. Based on expert validation, the teacher’s and students’ feedback and opinion, and also the result of the evaluation, it can be concluded that interactive media is feasible to be used as integrated science learning media themed “eye”. Â
