Abstract

Indonesia has an alarming trend where from year to year the prevalence of degenerative diseases continues to increase, especially in the elderly. This condition is further exacerbated by the number of elderly people in Indonesia reaching 10.48% in proportion to 1 elderly person supported by the productive age population. In addition, there are still many elderly people who are vulnerable due to a lack of preparation both financially and non-financially. The implementation of this health screening action aims to stimulate the growth of disease prevention behavior in old age through education and disease screening activities. The methods used are counseling and health checks. As a result of this activity, 24 elderly people voluntarily participated in health screening. The health condition of the elderly in neighborhood V of Margodadi Village, South Metro District was identified. As many as 95.8% of the elderly are in an unhealthy condition. At least they have 1 problematic health indicator including BMI status, blood pressure, temporary blood glucose value, and uric acid. With details: hypertension 75% (18 elderly), high uric acid levels, 41.6% (10 elderly), and there is 1 elderly who has a malnutrition status based on BMI. It is important to provide assistance, especially for the elderly who are malnourished, to pay attention to food consumption that meets balanced nutritional standards. If possible, provide additional food such as mung bean porridge or other types and do physical activity to increase the metabolism of the elderly body which can support to improve the quality of life.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kelompok remaja dianggap selalu dalam kondisi sehat, kenyataannya banyak permasalahan kesehatan yang dialami oleh remaja. Terdapat 4 masalah kesehatan remaja Indonesia yaitu 48,9% anemia, 21,6% stunting, 36,3% kekurangan energi kronik (KEK), obesitas usia > 18 tahun dengan IMT≥25 sebesar 13,5% dan dengan IMT≥27 sebanyak 15,4%. Hal ini jelas memberikan dampak buruk dalam mencetak kualitas generasi di masa datang. Meningkatnya pengetahuan dan Memberdayakan remaja dalam meningkatkan status kesehatan reproduksi  dan gizi seimbang melalui penapisan di kelas reproduksi remaja. Pembentukan tim konselor teman sebaya kesehatan reproduksi remaja yang diikuti oleh 14 orang remaja putri. Edukasi tentang pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi dan status gizi remaja yang ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dengan nilai rerata 8,16 poin dan menjadi 70 poin setelah edukasi. Pelatihan tim konselor teman sebaya kesehatan reproduksi remaja yang  ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan remaja putri sebelum dengan nilai rata-rata 4,46 menjadi 7,86 setelah pelatihan.  Melakukan skrining kesehatan peserta oleh tim pengabmas meliputi pengukuran TB, BB, IMT, LILA dan TD, lalu melakukan evaluasi kegiatan pengabmas. Terbentuknya tim konselor sebaya, adanya peningkatan pemahaman remaja tentang pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi dan status gizi, dteridentifikasi status kesehatan remaja serta adanya berpartisipasi aktif santriwati dalam semua kegiatan pengabdmas, dan semua santriwati memiliki raport kesehatanku. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan dan Pelatihan, Remaja Putri, Kesehatan Reproduksi  ABSTRACT Teenage groups are considered to always be in good health, but in reality teenagers experience many health problems. There are 4 health problems among Indonesian teenagers, namely 48.9% anemia, 21.6% stunting, 36.3% chronic energy deficiency (KEK), obesity aged > 18 years with a BMI≥25 by 13.5% and by a BMI≥27 by 13.5% 15.4%. This clearly has a negative impact on the quality of future generations. Increase knowledge and empower teenagers in improving their reproductive health status and balanced nutrition through screening in adolescent reproduction classes. Formation of a team of adolescent reproductive health peer counselors which was attended by 14 young women. Education about the importance of reproductive health and nutritional status of adolescents showed an increase in knowledge beforehand with an average score of 8.16 points and 70 points after education. The peer counselor team training on adolescent reproductive health showed an increase in the skills of adolescent girls before with an average score of 4.46 to 7.86 after the training.  Carrying out health screening of participants by the community service team includes measuring TB, BB, BMI, LILA and BP, then evaluating community service activities. The formation of a team of peer counselors, increased understanding of adolescents about the importance of reproductive health and nutritional status, identification of adolescent health status and active participation of female students in all community service activities, and all female students have health reports. Keywords: Improvement and Training, Young Women, Reproductive Health
