Abstract

As Covid-19 cases increase and transmission accelerates, it is more likely that new more contagious variants emerge, may spread more easily. Chest X-Rays examination performed during the Covid-19 pandemic is highly suggestive for severe infection and could be used to determine the diagnosis. The chest X-ray image of unvaccinated Covid-19 patients, at the initial onset appeared normal and could find infiltrates paracardial bilaterally. While chest X-ray image of 5-6 months vaccinated Covid-19 patients, in the first days paracardial and bilateral infiltrates were found as well as bilateral parahillar ground-glass opacity, but in late onset, the infiltrates and ground glass opacity became more widespread and bilateral consolidation was also found.

Abstract

This research aims to isolate bacteria from the rhizosphere soil which are known to be good media for the growth of bacteria, such as Escherichia coli and Straphlococus aureus as new types of antibiotics. The method used by isolated the bacteria from rhizosphere soil of Rimpang Pacing and Guava rhizome plants and then do the cell morphology characterization, purification, propagation of antibiotic-producing bactrial isolates and continued testing the antibiotic activity of potential bacterial isolates. From the observations, it was found that the isolation of bacteria from the rhizosphere soil of the pacing rhizome had antibiotic compounds that were able to inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli and Straphlococcus aureus bacteria as indicated by the formation of a clear zone around the colony, which had an inhibitory index of 0.5 mm in Ec.2 and Bp.1 isolates is also 0.5 mm. From Both Ec.2 and Bp.1 isolates concluded that the rhizosphere soil produces an inhibitory zone that has the potential to be used as an antibiotic agent

Abstract

The challenge faced by a hospital during undercontrolled the Covid-19 pandemic is to continue to provide health services quality, in this case, radiology installation service, with patient outcomes being satisfied with the existing services. The purpose of this study was to analyze inpatient and outpatient satisfaction comparison of radiology installation service quality at private hospital. Methods: This analytic survey research used a cross sectional approach. The samples were taken by total sampling method on as many as 30 inpatients and 30 outpatients in private hospital. Statistical data analysis using SPSS Independent T Test for satisfaction comparison and Mann Whitney U Test for various dimensions of service comparison. Results: There was no significant difference in satisfaction (Sig. value 0.136) and various dimensions such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles of service (Sig. value 0.945; 0.267; 0.134; 0.516; 0.163) between inpatients and outpatients at private hospital. Conclusion: Hospital must improve the quality of all dimensions of radiology installation service to increase all patients satisfaction, not only inpatient but also outpatient satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country in natural resources but also vulnerable to environmental degradation. Factors such as rapid urbanization, industrialization, and intensive agriculture have led to serious environmental degradation. Holistic and sustainable solutions are needed, requiring further support. The aim of this narrative review is to present various environmental health issues and the solution in Indonesia that can effectively build awareness, motivate action, and guide more sustainable environmental restoration efforts. This study uses a narrative review method. The literature review was conducted through PubMed NCBI and ScienceDirect databases. Keywords used include “Environmental Health Issues And Solutions In Indonesia” AND/OR “Environmental Health Issues In Indonesia and Their Solutions”. The criteria for articles in this study are that they must be in English, full text, open access, research articles or review articles, with results and discussions related to environmental health issues in Indonesia along with their solutions, and published within the last 10 years (2012-2022). We found 11 articles that discuss these topics. In the intricate tapestry of Indonesia's environmental landscape, the harmonious interplay of governmental, industrial, and communal efforts, guided by robust policies and inclusive engagement, weaves the threads of sustainability and resilience into the fabric of the nation's future.
