Abstract

Background Hypertension is a common disease that is defined simply as an increase in blood pressure. This disease can be the cause of high morbidity and mortality rates for both mothers and fetuses/babies born. Hypertension during pregnancy can develop unexpectedly and quickly become severe hypertension. As many as 61% of women with gestational hypertension experience disease progression to severe hypertension and are at risk of developing cerebrovascular disorders. Preeclampsia is defined as new onset of persistently elevated BP (BP? 140mmHg or BP? 90mmHg) and occurring after 20 weeks of gestation accompanied by one of the following complications; proteinuria, thrombocytopenia, renal impairment, liver impairment, or pulmonary edema. Training methods, educative and participatory outreach, targeting health cadres, in the form of training on blood pressure checks and health education, health education provided regarding danger signs and risk factors for pregnant women regarding hypertension and preeclampsia in pregnant women. Results. The results of univariable analysis regarding the age of pregnant women showed that of the 30 participants, 60% (18 people) were of productive age, namely 20-35 years, the remaining 40% (12 people) were over 35 years old. The level of education shows that there are still 13% (4 people) of respondents who only received junior high school education and 77% (23 people) who graduated from junior high school and 10% (3 people) of respondents whose education reached higher education. ). The average value of knowledge for pregnant women during the pretest was 58.00 (good enough category according to Arikunto), while all participants experienced an increase in knowledge with an average of 90.00 (good category according to Arikunto) after being given the post test. The conclusion was that the cadre training on hypertension and preeclampsia in pregnancy went smoothly, all participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity. It can be seen from the number of cadre participants who participated and the increase in knowledge was also very significant.

Abstract

Hypertension is still a major problem in Indonesia, Non-communicable diseases that can be experienced by women such as hypertension are one of the global health problems. Hypertension is a serious health problem for women today. Providing hypertension exercise treatment that is carried out consistently is one way to maintain physical fitness that can stimulate heart activity to be able to make beneficial changes in the body of hypertension sufferers in women of childbearing age or the elderly. By doing hypertension exercise, body activity will encourage the heart to work optimally and can lower and maintain blood pressure so that it remains stable within normal limits (Sobarina, Rohimah and Ginanjar, 2022). Hypertension sufferers rarely do physical activity and exercise, this will affect the effectiveness of circulation in the blood vessel area, because fat that sticks to the blood vessels will accumulate and form plaque in the area of ??the blood vessel walls which will result in increased blood pressure (hypertension) (Moonti et al., 2022). An initial survey of mothers in Bajoe Village, Soropia District, out of 10 interviewed, all of them did not know about the dangers of hypertension in women of childbearing age. Based on the explanation above, it is considered necessary to conduct counseling on hypertension, hypertension screening and hypertension exercise for women of childbearing age (WUS) in order to increase the knowledge of women of childbearing age about hypertension, and to be able to make prevention efforts through hypertension exercise. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there was an increase in the knowledge of women of childbearing age about hypertension, it was known the number of women of childbearing age who experienced hypertension and an increase in the ability of women of childbearing age to do hypertension exercise

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is still a global threat and is a disease that plays a major role as the number one cause of death worldwide. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) states that more than 17 million people in the world die from heart and blood vessel disease. Cardiovascular disease also most often attacks the productive age group, so that its mortality causes an economic and social burden on society. Cardiovascular disease starts from simple steps. The Motui village area in North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, whose population is mostly lower middle class, has low education, socio-demographic factors and unbalanced food consumption habits, this is the determinant of hypertension and heart disease in coastal communities. There is an increase in understanding of women of childbearing age about prevention and early detection of heart disease, on average women of childbearing age have sufficient knowledge (58.00) and after participating in activities it has increased to a good category (90.00)

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) reflects the risks faced by mothers during pregnancy and childbirth, which are influenced by the mother's nutritional status, socio-economic conditions, unfavorable conditions before pregnancy, the incidence of various complications during pregnancy and birth, the availability and use of health service facilities including perinatal services. and obstetrics. Monitoring pregnancy conditions is very important. High levels of maternal mortality caused by complications during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum can be detected to prevent death and disability. According to the INAHS Consensus, in 2020. So there is a need for action to change through accelerating early detection of hypertension risk factors independently with digitalization.Early detection of hypertension is one of the screening tools designed for ordinary people, especially pregnant women and postpartum mothers in this digital era. Accelerating early detection with digitalization can be done by the public with the help of a simple Android-based application called e-Demos (Early Detection and Hypertension Monitoring). The aim of this research is to create a model for the development of health technology in the medical world using the Android Studio application on a smartphone, to determine the effectiveness of the "E-Demos" application instrumentation in detecting and monitoring hypertension in pregnant and postpartum women. This type of research is experimental research with an approach quasi-experimental (quasi-experiment) with non-equivalent control group design. This research uses methods and Android application development to obtain data digitally. Research and Development is a process or steps to develop a new product.
