Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh temuan yang mengindikasikan rendahnya kemandirian siswa di Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian siswa, serta peluang dan hambatan dalam menjalankan strateginya. Jenis penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu, untuk meningkatkan kemandirian siswa sekolah dasar adalah dengan melaksanakan program PRP ( Pemberian tugas, Reward and panihment). Manfatnya atara lain; Peningkatan pemahaman siswa, menguatkan konsep pembelajaran, dan menerapkan pengetahuan dalam konteks nyata. mendorong kemandirian siswa, mengajarkan mereka untuk mengatur waktu dan bekerja mandiri tanpa pengawasan langsung guru, membangun tanggung jawab siswa terhadap pekerjaan mereka, termasuk mematuhi batas waktu dan petunjuk yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, program pemberian Reward ini efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, membentuk sikap positif terhadap pencapaian target akademis. Berperan sebagai pemicu motivasi bagi siswa yang kurang berprestasi, memberikan kesempatan bagi setiap siswa untuk merasakan keberhasilan dan tumbuh secara akademis dan bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas dan perilaku, Serta program pemberian Reward merangsang kreativitas siswa. Selanjutnya manfaaat Program pemberian punishment bagi siswa membawa beberapa manfaat signifikan. Pertama, program ini membantu siswa memahami konsekuensi dari perilaku melanggar aturan, mendorong kesadaran akan tanggung jawab atas tindakan mereka. Kedua, melalui pemberian hukuman, program ini berperan dalam membentuk sikap disiplin dan tanggung jawab pada siswa, memotivasi siswa untuk memperbaiki tindakan mereka guna menghindari hukuman. Terakhir, aspek kesetaraan dan keadilan dalam pelaksanaan punishment memberikan pesan tentang perlakuan yang adil bagi semua siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between intrinsic motivation and work discipline among employees of PT Family Aurora Nusantara, a company operating in the food and beverage (FnB) sector. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires from a total sample of 43 employees. The analysis revealed that intrinsic motivation positively and significantly influences work discipline, contributing 24.9% (R² = 0.249), with the remaining variance explained by other factors outside this study. A regression coefficient of 0.595 indicates that a one-unit increase in intrinsic motivation corresponds to a 0.595-unit increase in work discipline. The data also highlighted that higher levels of work discipline are correlated with adherence to company regulations and enhanced employee responsibility. This study emphasizes the crucial role of intrinsic motivation in fostering work discipline within the FnB sector. Companies are recommended to implement strategies such as rewards, training, and individual counseling to enhance intrinsic motivation, thereby improving operational effectiveness and employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in increasing anxiety towards social media in Generation Z. FOMO, which is defined as an excessive fear of missing out on experiences or information felt by others, is one of the significant factors influencing the digital behavior of the younger generation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study method to explore in depth the experiences and perceptions of Generation Z related to Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and its impact on anxiety in using social media. The results showed that Generation Z has a high level of FOMO, with the majority of respondents reporting excessive use of social media to follow trends, friends' activities, and viral content. This high FOMO has been shown to be positively correlated with increased anxiety, which includes feelings of excessive anxiety, difficulty focusing, and dependence on social validation through social media. These findings confirm that FOMO is a significant psychological challenge for Generation Z in the digital era. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve digital literacy, develop time management strategies in using social media, and create awareness about the impact of FOMO on mental health. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the impact of social media on Generation Z and provides a basis for more effective interventions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan citra tubuh pada remaja. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari 200 remaja perempuan berusia 22-27 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling, yang cocok digunakan untuk memilih sampel dari populasi besar seperti penduduk suatu negara, provinsi, atau kabupaten. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan penggunaan skala, khususnya skala citra tubuh dan skala kepercayaan diri. Item-item skala dirancang menggunakan model Likert, yang terdiri atas dua jenis: item favorable dan unfavorable. Item-item favorable mendukung konstruk yang diukur, sementara item-item unfavorable menyangkal konstruk tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesis diterima karena terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan citra tubuh pada remaja. Semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri remaja, semakin negatif citra tubuh yang dimiliki. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah kepercayaan diri remaja, semakin positif citra tubuh yang dimiliki. Kepercayaan diri memberikan sumbangan sebesar 75,2% terhadap citra tubuh. Kepercayaan diri yang tinggi berhubungan dengan ketidakpuasan terhadap tubuh jika individu tidak mencapai standar tubuh ideal. Hasil kategorisasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar subjek penelitian memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri dan citra tubuh pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of student care in improving the mental health and self-actualization abilities of Unika Soegijapranata students. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, and data collection is carried out through interviews and literature study. Interviews were conducted with the management of Unika Student Care (USC), Soegijapranata Student Career Center (SSCC), students, and alumni of Unika Soegijapranata. From the research results, it was found that Student Care has a positive role in improving the mental health and self-actualization abilities of Unika Soegijapranata students, where students can finally overcome the problems they face and are able to go through lectures well, be more confident, and be able to graduate on time and be able to determine their future career.

Abstract

Identifying children's learning styles during the golden age period is very important to support optimal learning development. Every child has a different learning style, such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, and by recognizing these learning styles, educators or parents can adjust the most effective teaching methods as an effort to improve children's learning styles in the golden age period. In this research, the author uses a qualitative method by limiting the object of discussion through problem formulation, namely: How are children's learning styles different in the golden age period and how are efforts to improve and support children's learning styles in the golden age period. The results of the discussion show that each child has a different learning style. The different learning styles include: auditory learning style, visual learning style, kinesthetic learning style, social learning style, independent learning style, emotional learning style and mixed learning style. After identifying the differences in children's styles in the golden age period, efforts that can be made to improve and support children's learning styles in the golden age are encouraging children's learning style methods, adapting teaching materials to learning styles, designing activities that accommodate various styles, evaluating and adjust the approach and create a supportive learning environment, and wisely limit children's use of technology to support their social, emotional and cognitive development.

Abstract

The police profession is one of the professions that faces great challenges in crisis situations. Police members are required to make the right decisions and adapt to stressful conditions quickly and effectively. This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence on decision-making and self-adjustment in police members who serve in operational functions. The research method used is a correlational quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 personnel of the Riau Islands Police Directorate. Emotional intelligence is measured based on five dimensions: self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Decision-making and self-adjustment are measured using a standardized scale that has been validated. The results of the study show that emotional intelligence has a significant influence on decision-making and self-adjustment of police members. The dimensions of self-management and empathy contribute the most in supporting quick and rational decision-making skills, while self-awareness plays an important role in self-adjustment to crisis situations. These findings underscore the importance of developing emotional intelligence through training to improve the performance of police members, especially in dealing with stressful situations. This study concludes that emotional intelligence is a key factor that affects the effectiveness of decision-making and self-adjustment in police members. The practical implication of this study is the need to integrate emotional intelligence training in human resource development programs in police institutions.

Abstract

The influence of parenting from parents on learning motivation is important to do. However, parenting activities through emotional intelligence and self-regulation of learning motivation are rarely used by researchers. This study aims to determine how influential parenting style is on learning motivation, to find out how influential the strengthening of emotional intelligence and self-regulation in parenting on learning motivation. The subjects of this study amounted to 230 respondents from SMP Negeri 6 Madiun. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires related to parenting, motivation, emotional intelligence, and self-regulation. His data analysis technique uses validity and reliability tests as well as t tests and f tests, and determination coefficient tests. The results of his research are emotional intelligence and self-regulation strengthen parenting on learning motivation. There is a positive relationship and significant influence between parenting through emotional intelligence and self-regulation of learning motivation.
