Abstract

This article discusses qawā'id al-tafsīr (rules of interpretation) regarding verses relating to social aspects in the Al-Quran. This research aims to find out the ta'qid masalik developed by Muslim scientists in interpreting Al-Quran verses and to present interpretive principles related to social verses in the Al-Quran. This research is based on a literature review using qualitative methods. The primary sources in this research are verses from the Koran relating to social aspects, while secondary sources come from books, scriptures, and articles relevant to the research theme. The results obtained from the research are that the maslak ta'qid developed by Muslim scientists from the classical to contemporary eras were found to be based on istiqrā', istinbāṭ, and al-ta'qid maslak based on texts. And, 20 rules of interpretation can be used as a guide in studying verses related to social aspects.

Abstract

The background of this research relates to the implementation of the Al-Quran teaching method in the One Village One Hafizh (Sadesha) Program in West Java Province, which aims to create 6000 hafizh-hafizhah by 2022. The program is expected to contribute to improving the quality of religious education and Quran teaching at the village level. This study aims to analyze the management of teaching methods applied in the program. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, which involves secondary data analysis in the form of annual reports and program-related documents, as well as interviews with relevant parties such as program coordinators and participants. The results showed that the management of the Sadesha program in West Java Province has been running well, in accordance with the established plan. The program uses two main strategies, namely empowerment and cadre, to achieve the target number of hafizh-hafizhah. Obstacles found related to the imbalance in the number of participants between districts/cities can be overcome through subsidies between districts/cities. The conclusion of this study is that the Sadesha program has successfully achieved its main objectives, with successes that can be used as a model for the development of similar programs in other regions. However, there are several obstacles that need to be overcome, such as the distribution of participants and honorarium issues, which require further attention to improve the program.

Abstract

This paper departs from the observation of the guidance strategy used by Kiai in teaching Qira'atImam Nafi' through Riwayat Warsh in an Islamic educational institution, namely the Al-Bidayah Cipongkor Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. This paper uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study from various literature sources and field studies in the form of results from observations during the service. The analysis technique of this paper is in the form of observations during the service which are used to analyze the teaching-learning process between Kiai and santri in the learning process. This paper produces findings that the most effective guidance strategy in teaching Qira'at Sab'ah is the Jibril method, which focuses on memorization, accompanied by the application of intensive recitation exercises to improve the skill of reading the Qur'an according to Riwayat Warsh. In addition, the role of kiai in providing spiritual motivation is a key factor in maintaining the consistency of santri in learning this Qira'at. This paper concludes and contributes to the understanding of the importance of kiai guidance methods in preserving the Qira'at tradition as part of the Islamic scientific heritage.

Abstract

This research aims to study the correlation between i’jaz bayani and scientific hints in the story of Maryam in the Qur’an. Using a language and science approach, this research analyzes the choice of diction, sentence structure, and word use in Surah Maryam, which shows the miracle of the language of the Qur'an. The main focus of this study is the use of the word "rutab" (wet dates), which is scientifically proven to have great benefits for pregnant and giving-birth women. This finding shows that the meaning contained in this choice of words is not only linguistically beautiful but also in accordance with modern medical facts. This shows that there is a close relationship between i’jaz bayani and scientific signals in the Al-Qur'an, as well as being a protest against orientalist accusations that doubt the miracles of the stories in the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of education according to Shaykh Al-Zarnuji which is written in the book of ta'limul muta'allim. This research is categorized as library research, using qualitative methods. The data collection techniques in this study use documentation techniques, and in data analysis the authors use content analysis techniques. This study found that there are at least five characteristics of education as outlined by Shaykh Al-Zarnuji in his book ta'limul muta'aalim. The five characters are as follows; First, the obligation to seek knowledge for every human being. Second, have good intentions; Every student of knowledge must have good intentions, namely to finish ignorance and get the pleasure of Allah SWT. Third, respect the teacher, because without the teacher it is impossible for the learning process to take place. Fourth, seriousness in learning. Fifth, apply the morals that begin in life as a reflection of a student of knowledge. In addition, the author also finds that the concept of education proposed by Shaykh Al-Zarnuji is closely related in realizing the goal of the independent-learning program, namely the creation of superior human resources.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of intellectual education and how to implement it in the PAI curriculum at the Elementary School (SD) level. The research procedure used in this study is library research, and uses qualitative methods. The data collection techniques in this study use documentation techniques. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the author uses content analysis techniques. This study found that the concept of Intellectual Education in the PAI curriculum is an idea or idea that is structured in a curriculum document as a guide for educators in guiding, training and forming critical, logical, systematic and rational thinking skills, so that students develop into human beings who believe, are pious. , and have good character. The continuity of the PAI curriculum in containing the concept of reason education as an important part of character educators in the KBK, KTSP, and 2013 Curriculum, all of which are interconnected in their development and complement each other.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang multikultural baik dalam budaya, suku, ras, dan agama, dengan keberagaman budaya dan agama menjadikan masyarakat Indonesia terbiasa dalam suasana multikultural. Keberagaman tersebut menjadi aset yang sangat berharga bagi suatu negara, karena mempengaruhi cara pandang keagamaan umat Islam Indonesia untuk lebih moderat. Namun keberagaman tersebut juga rentan menjadi pemicu untuk terjadinya konflik antar sesama, terlebih hadirnya kelompok-kelompok masyarakat yang sering membuat provokasi untuk memecah belah umat. Perpecahan yang terjadi di Indonesia penyebab utamanya bukan hanya dari pihak eksternal saja, namun bersumber dari pihak internal juga. Hal tersebut dipicu oleh kekeliruan dalam menginterpretasikan ayat al-Qur’an, bahkan bagi sebagian kelompok menggunakan penafsiran tersebut untuk kepentingan suatu golongan dalam mempertahankan argumentasinya agar bisa membantah dan mematahkan argumentasi golongan yang tidak sejalan dengannya.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk akan menjabarkan bagaimana Al-Qur’an berinteraksi dengan budaya Arab. Metode penulisan dalam tulisan ini adalah kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data secara literatur (library research). Hasil penelitiand alam tulisan ini adalah budaya Arab mempunyai saham dalam pembentukan hukum-hukum yang dilegitimasi Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Islam dengan Kitab Sucinya Al-Qur’an mempunyai beberapa sifat atau kategori hukum, dalam beberapa hal: Pertama, hukum yang diakomodasi Al-Qur’an dari budaya Arab secara utuh, seperti Had mencuri, Musyawarah dan sebagainya. Kedua, hukum yang diakomodasi Al-Qur’an dari budaya Arab sebagian saja – dan sebagian lagi Al-Qur’an sendiri yang menyempurnakannya seperti thawafnya golongan Hums atau Nikah dengan cara melamar dan memakai mahar. Ketiga, hukum yang merubah tradisi Arab menjadi tradisi baru atau era baru setelah datangnya Islam (Al-Qur’an) seperti dalam bidang Aqidah Islam merubah Aqidah mereka secara besar-besaran yang asalnya menyembah berhala-berhala (Musyrik-Kafir) menjadi penyembah Allah Swt (bertauhid). Dalam interaksi tersebut tentu terdapat beberapa perkara yang menyebabkan konflik, buktinya terdapat beberapa peperangan antara Nabi–pengikutnya dan masyarakat Arab yang menolak ajaran baru.
