Abstract

Purpose: The Population and Civil Registration Office is a governmental institution responsible for managing population administration in provinces or districts/cities. One of the tasks of the Population and Civil Registration Office is to provide services for death reporting, particularly in Pringsewu Regency. Currently, the death-reporting service system still operates manually. Methodology/approach: This challenge arises from the slowness of death-reporting services. Therefore, socialization regarding the protection of death certificates and the reporting of funeral registers has been conducted to facilitate and improve the reporting of funeral registers, especially in the administrative region of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Pringsewu Regency. The method used in the implementation of death certificates and funeral register reporting starts from the preparation stage, technical application guidance stage, and final stage, which involves affirming the commitment to implement the knowledge gained during the technical guidance process. Results/findings: This application was designed with a simple layout to facilitate the use of death certificate services and to report the main burial book. By entering relevant sections, users can directly access relevant applications. Limitations: In serving the community at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pringsewu Regency, there is a limitation, namely, the Funeral Register Reporting application is built based on a website platform that can be utilized across multiple platforms. Contribution: The contribution to community services involves designing, constructing, and directly implementing the Funeral Register Reporting application for relevant stakeholders in Pringsewu Regency. Consequently, the developed application proved to be highly beneficial and helpful for the stakeholders involved.

Abstract

Penanganan COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease-2019) di Indonesia pernah menjadi topik hangat di media sosial yaitu Twitter. Penanganan pemerintah Indonesia tersebut menimbulkan pro dan kontra di masyarakat. Opini publik di Twitter dapat digunakan sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan dalam pengambilan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pemerintah. Metode analisis sentimen dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis opini publik di Twitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena opini publik tentang COVID-19 di Indonesia. Kami menggunakan dataset tweet mengenai COVID-19 di Indonesia untuk diklasifikasikan menjadi sentimen positif, dan negatif. Kami melakukan preprocessing untuk data duplikat dan tidak relevan dan kami juga membandingkan text feature extraction untuk analisis sentimen pada data baru. Algoritma pembelajaran mesin diveluasi menggunakan beberapa metode serta menggunakan 10-fold validasi. Performa terbaik terjadi pada skenario kedua dengan classifier terbaik adalah Support Vector Machine dengan akurasi yang didapatkan sebesar 84.03%.

Abstract

Penjualan barang merupakan proses yang sangat berpengaruh pada tumbuh kembang bisnis perusahaan. PT Interproma Indocom adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pendistribusian barang berupa alat penangkal petir. Pengelolaan data kususnya penjualan barang masih menggunakan pendekatan berbasis file(file-based approach). Dengan pendekatan ini, terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi, yaitu data menjadi tersebar dan terisolasi sehingga sulit mencari dan mengontrol data, duplikasi data sehingga banyak data yang sama dan tidak tahu mana data yang akan dipakai, dan data tidak sesuai dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya. Pada penelitian ini penulis membuat perancangan basis data dengan model Entity reationship Diagram dan Normalisasi. Tujuan dari dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang struktur basis data yang terintergrasi dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna sehingga memudahkan dalam mengontrol dan mengelola data. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan rancangan basis data yang dapat menjadi input pada sistem infromasi penjualan.

Abstract

Ekspresi wajah adalah bentuk pikiran yang merasuki orang, seperti kasih sayang yang diungkapkan dengan senyuman, dan cemberut adalah ekspresi sedih. Ini tentu saja mudah dikenali oleh manusia, tetapi tidak mudah untuk komputer. RF adalah metode klasifikasi yang mengandalkan hasil dan teori pembelajaran statistic untuk menjamin kinerja generalisasi. Pada penelitian ini terdapat 3 proses utama yaitu preprocessing, pengenalan, dan klasifikasi. Terdapat 7 kelas ekspresi wajah yang diklasifikasi yaitu ekspresi marah, netral, jijik, takut, senang, sedih, dan terkejut. Penelitian ini mengusulkan algoritma PCA untuk ekstraksi ciri dan algoritma RF pada pengujian, klasifikasi, dan pengenalan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggabungan algoritma PCA dan RF dapat melakukan klasifikasi ekspresi wajah manusia dengan baik dengan nilai akurasi saat pengujian 91,37% dan akurasi klasifikasi 91%. Hasil tersebut membuat algoritma RF cocok digunakan pada klasifikasi ekspresi wajah.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of the AMANDA (Attendance Management and SIASN Data Updating Application) has significantly improved educational administration, especially for civil servant lecturers. Contribution: AMANDA serves as a model for future public sector innovations, improving efficiency, accountability, and adaptability. Method: The background to the development of this application comes from challenges in manual processes which tend to be time consuming, prone to errors, and less efficient in terms of data processing. Results: It has reduced time spent on administrative tasks by 30% and decreased errors by 25%, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. User feedback has been positive, with 85% of lecturer satisfied, highlighting its ease of use. Conclusion: The application has also demonstrated the power of digital tools to streamline operations, improve data integrity, and promote user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction and training outcomes suggest that continued investment in technology and training is essential for optimizing administrative processes.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a prototype of an automatic warm water shower using sound sensors and ultrasonic sensors based on Arduino Uno. The research method uses steps from the Research and Development (R & D) Approach. The automatic warm water shower prototype developed allows users to carry out bathing activities more efficiently and comfortably, avoids wasting water due to negligence in closing the tap, and provides an automatic warm water feature. How the automatic warm water shower prototype works using a sound sensor and an ultrasonic sensor based on Arduino Uno. If the ultrasonic sensor detects the presence of an object within a distance of 30 cm, the ultrasonic sensor will activate the solenoid valve which acts as an automatic tap in turning on the tap, but when the ultrasonic sensor does not detect any the presence of an object, the ultrasonic sensor will deactivate the solenoid valve so that the tap will close automatically. If the user wants to take a shower using warm water, the user simply claps his hands and then the sound of the clapping activates the sound sensor, then the sound sensor will activate the water heater which functions as a heater. This research produces prototypes of automatic faucets and automatic hot water showers which show the potential for integrating technology into everyday bathing devices to increase user efficiency and comfort and avoid wasting water.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the performance of two rendering engines, namely EEVEE and Cycles, available in Blender 3.5, in the context of developing interactive visual 3D animation. The rendering engine is a key element in 3D animation production, and the right choice between EEVEE and Cycles can have a significant impact on the final animation result. In this research, we conducted a series of experiments and analyzes to evaluate rendering speed, the quality of the resulting images, and the ability to achieve the visual effects desired by the animator. The results of this research provide deep insight into the strengths and limitations of each rendering engine in interactive 3D animation scenarios. These findings can help animators, game developers, and similar creative professionals make more informed choices when choosing a rendering engine that suits their project needs. Thus, this research contributes to the development of rendering techniques in the growing 3D animation industry.
