Abstract

Science education is a key factor in developing students' science process skills and understanding of scientific concepts. Mastery of science process skills is one of the important ways to gain knowledge. By implementing Student Worksheets based on guided inquiry, science process skills and understanding of scientific concepts can be improved. This study examines the effect of guided inquiry-based worksheets on science process skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model to examine the effectiveness of guided inquiry-based worksheets in improving students' science process skills on vibration and wave material. The research participants consisted of students enrolled in vibration and wave courses in the third semester of the Physics Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Pontianak, who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. The instruments used in this study were science process skills tests in the form of pretests and posttests and science process skills observation sheets during learning which included observing, classifying, measuring, interpreting data, making hypotheses, designing experiments, conducting experiments, communicating, results, concluding, identifying variables, and using tools and materials. The data obtained were analyzed using paired t-test and N-Gain analysis. Based on the data obtained, both from pretest, posttest, and observation, it can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry-based worksheets is effective in improving students' science process skills in vibration and wave material. This increase is clearly seen in the pretest and posttest scores, as well as in the observation of skills that show positive developments in all indicators of science process skills.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru fisika di Kota Pontianak melalui inovasi asesmen pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada tantangan guru dalam mengembangkan asesmen yang relevan dengan keterampilan abad ke-21, di mana asesmen tradisional masih dominan dan kurang mampu mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui tahapan persiapan, workshop, praktik penyusunan instrumen asesmen, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah guru fisika SMA/SMK yang tergabung dalam MGMP Fisika Kota Pontianak. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru terhadap konsep asesmen berbasis deep learning, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, keterampilan guru dalam menyusun instrumen asesmen juga meningkat dengan rata-rata kategori “baik”, meskipun aspek autentisitas asesmen masih perlu diperkuat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan asesmen berbasis deep learning efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual sekaligus keterampilan praktis guru fisika, sehingga dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran sains di era digital.

Abstract

Aceh Province is one of district that has a very high stunting prevalence rate in Indonesia. Community service activities was aimed to provide knowledge and public awareness of the importance of the health of pregnant women and children as an effort to prevent stunting. Community service activities also carried out food processing practices aimed at providing community skills in processing food as nutritious food intake for mothers and children. The target participants of the community service activities are villagers, village apparatus and posyandu officials. The total number of participants who took part in the community service activities was 120 participants consisting of 35 men and 85 women. Meanwhile, based on the group of participants, it consisted of 101 villagers, 12 village officials and 7 posyandu delegation. Based on evaluation, the activity succeeded in providing understanding and awareness of the community regarding the importance of food intake for the health of mothers and children and also succeeded in increasing the participants' skills in processing several nutritious processed food products. Furthermore, the assessment of the results of the written test showed that the average participant obtained a fairly good score. It shows that the participants understand the learning material quite well. However, the ability to answer the written test can be improved by repeating reading the learning module. Guidance from stakeholders towards villagers on an ongoing basis needs to be programmed in order to have a wider positive impact.

Abstract

Pengembangan desa wisata merupakan strategi penting untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pemerataan kesejahteraan. Program pengabdian ini menunjukkan peran strategis pemuda sebagai agen perubahan dalam pengelolaan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, dengan mengambil studi kasus program pemberdayaan di Desa Kuala Trang, Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberdayakan pemuda melalui pembentukan kelompok pengelola untuk mengoptimalkan potensi wisata alam desa secara mandiri dan profesional. Metode yang digunakan meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu inisiasi dan diskusi dengan perangkat desa, pembentukan kelompok pemuda, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan multi-pihak, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya kelembagaan pemuda yang sah untuk mengawasi dan mengelola kawasan wisata, yang dilengkapi dengan peningkatan kapasitas dalam manajemen dan digital marketing. Simpulan analisis FGD mengidentifikasi peluang besar dari tren wisata berkelanjutan, namun juga menyoroti kelemahan dalam kapasitas pengelolaan dan ancaman kerusakan lingkungan. Dampak yang diharapkan adalah terciptanya lapangan kerja, penguatan ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesuksesan jangka panjang bergantung pada pemberdayaan pemuda yang berkelanjutan, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan pengelolaan destinasi yang bertanggung jawab untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara manfaat ekonomi, sosial, dan kelestarian ekologis.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran teknologi drone berbasis Arduino menggunakan sensor ultrasonik pada materi Gerak Lurus dapat membantu dalam mengajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran pada materi gerak lurus. Model penelitian yang akan dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Borg and Gall yang memiliki 10 tahapan penelitian, namun pada penelitian ini hanya menggunakan 7 tahapan penelitian. Penelitian ini menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran dari 1 validator ahli media dan 1 validator ahli materi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga melihat respon siswa dari 17 siswa terhadap media yang dikembangkan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran teknologi drone berbasis Arduino menggunakan sensor ultrasonik pada materi Gerak Lurus dikatakan sangat cocok digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kelayakan media pembelajaran menurut ahli materi mendapat nilai rata-rata 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh nilai rata-rata 90% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan uji coba kepada siswa, rata-rata nilai respon siswa sebesar 89% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Based on pre-observation results, researchers found that student learning outcomes in electromagnetic induction material were still below the standards set by the school. This is due to the lack of learning media used. Therefore, it is necessary to develop innovative media that can support learning, namely blog-based learning media. This research aims to determine feasibility according to media experts, feasibility according to material experts, and test students' responses to the media being developed. This research uses Thiagarajan's R&D steps with a 4D model, namely (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but in its implementation in this research it is modified to 3D, namely Define, Design, and Develop. The results of data analysis show that from the media aspect it is categorized as very appropriate with a score of 91%, from the material aspect it is categorized as appropriate with a score of 75% and the results of student responses to the media being developed are categorized as very feasible with a score of 95%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the learning media with the Academic Blog is said to be suitable for use in learning electromagnetic induction material.

Abstract

The use of Arduino integrated sensors for appropriate technology in food processing in West Kalimantan is still very minimal. On the other hand, the quality of food ingredients that are specially dried using conventional drying is very far from health quality standards. This problem is actually very useful for developing more contextual physics education learning media. Moreover, various materials that are currently connected to concrete thermal measurements, for example, do not use measuring instruments that can actually be used in everyday life, especially in food processing technology, so that students are not motivated in learning physics and their learning outcomes are low.The current availability of Arduino and its sensors makes it possible to produce a traditional food drying technology acquired with Arduino sensors that is in line with the physics education study program curriculum. This has not been developed comprehensively in West Kalimantan. The objectives of this research are: 1. Obtain a design for traditional food drying technology acquired with an Arduino sensor which is proven to be effective in terms of energy and drying time; 2. Obtain physics learning media which involves exploring traditional food drying technology acquired with a valid Arduino sensor. This research is included in R & D (Research and Development). This research begins with a design concept which is realized in the form of design construction drawings, the manufacturing process and testing of products that have been made, as well as the design of physics learning tools. The research results show that the traditional food drying technology acquired using an Arduino sensor as a learning medium has been successfully developed and has met the feasibility criteria in the high category

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of learning using inquiry strategies assisted by academic blogs on the 21st century skills of students in the Physics Education Study Program at IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This research is a pre-experimental design research with a One group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was all 18 fifth semester students. The data collection technique is to determine conceptual abilities using tests, while to determine 21st century skills, namely 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity) using observation techniques. The data collection tools used were test questions and observation sheets. Based on data analysis, it is known that there is a significant increase in students' understanding of concepts before and after learning in the high category. Students master 21st century skills, namely critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity in the high category in every lesson. The academic blog-based inquiry learning model is innovative in improving the quality of physics learning in the 21st century educational era.
