Abstract

Abstract:  Human beings possess three kinds of intruments to catch the whole reality. The three instruments are the five senses, reason and intellectuality as well as intuiion (revelation and inspiration)  whreas the Western intellectluas agree one instrument only, namely the five senses so that they  develope one research method only, namely observation method and  experiment. The observation method is continually developed  into very sopisticated level but it persistently derive from  the sense perception. Reason—in the form of reasoning—is employed, but only to choose, to decide and to perform reasoning, not as  other instruments to catch the reality. This makes the Western intellectuals different from the Muslim intellectuals since the later  admit the validity of not only the observation method  but also of the rational and intuitive method.  Kata Kunci: integrasi, interkonektisitas, sains,  ilmu agama, panca indera, akal

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang pendidikan karakter, Al-Qaulu Al-Qadim Wa al-Qaulu Al-Hadits. Pendidikan dimaksud bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengendalikan emosi dan bersikap samahah (toleran) dan terbuka, bagaimana menanamkan nilai nilai kejujuran (honesty), loyalitas, dan integritas (integrity), dapat dipercaya (amanah.trusworthy), memperlakukkan orang lain dengan respek (respect), bertanggung jawab (responsible), adil (fair), serta peduli dan kasih (caring), memiliki ciri manusia trampil (cultivating students’ practical skills), kreatif, kerja keras, bersemangat (cultivating students innovative spirit), mandiri, percaya diri, bijak, tekun, tegar, tertib, sadar hukum dan aturan, disiplin, damai, dan hormat, santun, suka menolong, dan baik serta rendah hati. Semua unsur yang disebut di ataslah yang ingin dicapaidalam pendidikan karakter. -----------------This articlediscusses about character building education, Al-Qaulu Al-Qadim Wa al-Qaulu Al-Hadits. Education, accordingly, isaimed to improve the ability of controlling emotion, have tolerant (samahah) and inclusive, that is to invest moral values, such as honesty, loyalty, integrity, trustworthy, respect, responsibility, fairness, and caring. Character building is also intended to make students as cultivating students’ practical skills, creativity, industriousness, cultivating students innovative spirit, self-confidence, andwisdom. Ultimately, all theseelements have been mentioned above will be obtained through character education.

Abstract

This study discusses the Implementation of Human Resource Management in Improving the Quality of Service of the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar, which aims to determine the process of implementing human resource management in improving the quality of services carried out by the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar; describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of human resource management in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Alauddin Makassar; and found the results of the implementation of human resource management in improving service quality at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research is a qualitative research using theological, managerial and sociological approaches. The data source of this study consisted of the Dean, Deputy Dean, Kabag. TU, Kasubag, several staff, and students. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation study. Data Analysis Techniques use the technique of reducing, presenting, and verifying data or drawing conclusions. Data validity testing uses data triangulation techniques. The results showed that: 1) The process of implementing human resource management in improving the quality of service at the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar, showed that it was in accordance with standards or regulations. 2) While the supporting factors, namely the Stakeholders fully support the policies and programs of the faculties with a collective system of cologists, training soft skills and hard skills, giving the widest possible space for self-development, the availability of arts stage facilities and sports week and good collaboration with the management of the institution student affairs. The inhibiting factors are budget constraints, regulations, communication affordability, senior employees who need special jobs, and if the central server is down. 3) The quality of service management at the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar turns out to show better development, but it still requires optimal coaching efforts so that the quality of service management exceeds customer expectations.Kajian ini membahas Implementasi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia dalam Perbaikan Mutu Pelayanan Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam perbaikan mutu pelayanan yang dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar;  mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar; dan menemukan hasil implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam perbaikan mutu pelayanan di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan teologis, manajerial dan sosiologis. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari Dekan, Wakil Dekan, Kabag. TU, Kasubag, beberapa orang Staf, dan Mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik Analisa Data menggunakan teknik reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi  data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:  1) Proses implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam perbaikan mutu pelayanan Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar, menunjukkan telah sesuai dengan standar atau aturan. 2) Sementara faktor pendukungnya yakni  Stakeholder mendukung sepenuhnya mengenai kebijakan dan program-program fakultas dengan sistem kolektif kologial, pelatihan soft skill dan hard skill, memberi ruang seluas luasnya untuk pengembangan diri, ketersediaan fasilitas panggung seni dan pekan olah raga dan kerjasama baik dengan pengurus lembaga kemahasiswaan. Faktor penghambatnya yakni keterbatasan anggaran, regulasi, keterjangkauan  komunikasi, pegawai yang sudah senior membutuhkan pekerjaan yang spesial, dan  jika server pusat mengalami gangguan. 3) Adapun mutu manajemen layanan Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar ternyata menunjukkan perkembangan yang lebih baik, namun tetap masih diperlukan upaya pembinaan secara optimal agar mutu manajemen layanan melebihi harapan pelanggan.

Abstract

Abstract:This paper discusses the educational values of Kaizen culture in Japan. The research used to pose a main question of what educational values Kaizen management and culture has in common, based on the theory proposed by Richard T Kinner, Jerry L. Kernes, and Therese M. Dautheribes which declares that universality and education can coexist within the human community because there is a universal moral education written on the human heart. Since this is a library research and that of observational field of studies with qualitative data the researchers analyzed the research observation results conducted in Toyota, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka as the primary sources of this study by using keywords of Kaizen values, Total Management Quality (TQM), and Kaizen Management Quality (KMQ) then the researchers analyzed and described the information about the educational values found in those primary sources. The results indicated that the universal and educational significant values which Kaizen has in general are discipline, good order (organization), honesty, trust, communication, peaceful life and nonviolent value, neatness, equanimity, and habit formation. Those kind of values will result in benevolence and compassion. In the end, Despite the fact that Kaizen seems to be related to the total quality management studies, this research paves the way to learn more about the importance of moral education in raising one's values via the examples rendered by Kaizen of Japan.Abstrak:Artikel ini membahas tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan budaya Kaizen di Jepang. Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengajukan pertanyaan utama tentang apa kesamaan nilai-nilai pendidikan manajemen dan budaya Kaizen, berdasarkan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Richard T Kinner, Jerry L. Kernes, dan Therese M. Dautheribes yang menyatakan bahwa universalitas dan pendidikan dapat hidup berdampingan dalam komunitas manusia karena ada pendidikan moral universal yang tertulis di hati manusia. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pustaka kualitatif dengan menggunakan hasil observasi penelitian yang dilaksanakan di kota Toyota, Nagoya, Kyoto dan Osaka sebagai sumber utama data penelitian dengan menggunakan kata kunci: nilai-nilai Kaizen, Kualitas Manajemen Total, dan Kualitas Manajemen Kaizen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai penting universal dan pendidikan yang dimiliki Kaizen secara umum adalah disiplin, ketertiban (organisasi), kejujuran, kepercayaan, komunikasi, kehidupan damai dan nilai non-kekerasan, kerapian, keseimbangan batin, dan pembentukan kebiasaan. Nilai-nilai semacam itu akan menghasilkan kebajikan dan kasih sayang. Pada akhirnya, Terlepas dari kenyataan bahwa Kaizen tampaknya terkait dengan studi manajemen kualitas total, penelitian ini membuka jalan untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang pentingnya pendidikan moral dalam meningkatkan nilai-nilai seseorang melalui contoh-contoh yang diberikan oleh Kaizen dari Jepang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP IT Nurul Fikri Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP IT Nurul Fikri Makassar (2) menemukan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan manajemen pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP IT Nurul Fikri Makassar (3) menemukan dan memberikan solusi terhadap kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan manajemen pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP IT Nurul Fikri Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dan dilihat dari jenis data analisisnya, penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan ilmu manajemen yang menerapkan empat fungsinya: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran bahasa Arab di SMP IT Nurul Fikri Makassar berada pada tahap pengembangan baik dari segi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi, namun begitu banyak kendala yang dihadapi seperti waktu pelajaran yang kurang, lingkungan berbahasa, guru tidak sesuai latar belakang pendidikan namun kami memberi solusi seperti membuat pembelajaran semenarik mungkin, menciptakan lingkungan berbahasa, membuat peraturan berbahasa yang ketat dan menghadirkan native speaker.

Abstract

The main issue of this research is how the historical review of Islamic education in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa in Pattani-Southern Thailand. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses phenomenological, pedagogical, and psychological approaches. The researcher took the location in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa Pattani South Thailand. The findings showed that the early history of Islamic education in Pattani Thailand began in 1961 in the government of Sarit Tanarat by proposing a modernization program for Islamic boarding schools which was transformed into a private Islamic education school. After that policy, the growth of Islamic boarding schools is increasing rapidly. One of them is the Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa. The concept of Islamic education institution in Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa initially used the concept of Suffah in the time of its establishment. At present, the madrasa uses the concept of Halaqah and Majelis as the ways for students to learn. Finally, Mulnithi Azizstan Madrasa changed the learning system into each class.

Abstract

This article is a kind of introductory explanation of how Islamic epistemology does not and cannot separate religion from the general knowledge and science in general. The idea will begin from the anxiety of some prominent people in religions of the world on the facts happening nowadays at western universities and higher-education institutions. Based on that, this article tries to introduce the classification of knowledge as far as Islam is concerned. It will be elaborated that by recognizing the senses alone, western scientists are only developing a research method, the observation method, or sensory experiments. This observation method is further developed to a very sophisticated method, but it still empties into the absorption of sense-perception. Sense process in the form of reasoning is used, but only to choose, to decide and to reason, not as another instrument in capturing realities. Contrary to Western scientists, as can be seen further, Muslim scientists recognize that the legitimacy of science is not based only on the observation method, but also rational and intuitive methods. In other words, the science does not only recognize the sensory perception in the process of knowledge, but also the sense and perception of the voice of the heart. This has brought about changes and inventions in many fields of knowledge in the early development of Islam. The dichotomy and separation of religion from the general knowledge in Islam as far as history proved had made Islam fail to shine until the time being.

Abstract

The paper talks about how violence and conflict in every form of life will get anybody nowhere and how the call for peace and tranquility should be implemented by each mankind, wherever he lives and wherever they as a group may reside. Hence, peaceful values in global perspective are of great significance. The questions which may be raised are what do we need to have and what do we need to know prior to talking about peace and tranquility? The other questions which may spur are how to implement peace and what makes peace fail and tranquility never becomes a reality. The answer to those questions will become an elaboration of the gist of this article. Historically and spiritually speaking, peace will not be realized if the reason of failure to achieve peace has not been made aware and known to mankind. Albeit various advices and directions have been given, peace shall not be realized. This is due to the fact that the advice and directions given have not met the substance of the cause and have not been able to provide a comprehensive solution to peace itself. Some of the substances of this article, therefore, will try to prove how the need to recognizing and understanding the “voice of the heart” as “inner-soul” and “inner capacity” themselves will become an essential thing to be realized by every individual, so that they can thereafter be known by all mankind globally wherever they may be.
