Abstract

The functionality of both sentiment analysis and social network analysis on social media such as Twitter or X can holds significant potential for understanding public opinion, especially in political-related issues. Despite its potential, there is currently lack of application that can provide these types of analyses. This research aimed to help to analyse public opinion in the field of political issues by using sentiment analysis and social network analysis techniques that can help to analyse the tendency of public opinion polarity on Twitter or X social media and to visualize the relationship of social media accounts with other social media accounts. The results obtained from this research are web applications that can help in problems related to sentiment analysis and network analysis using libraries from the Python programming language, and NodeJs. Based on the results of blackbox testing and technical testing, it can be concluded that the system that has been built can run in accordance with the predetermined design.

Abstract

K3 Helmet Usage Warning System Using Deep Method Learning Algorithm YOLOv8 is a technological innovation that combines the advanced object detection method YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once version 8) with the needs of safety in the work environment, especially the use of K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) helmets. This research aims to improve compliance with the use of K3 helmets through an automation approach using Deep Learning technology.The YOLOv8 algorithm is used to detect whether individuals in the work area are wearing K3 helmets or not. The detection results will be processed by the system to provide automatic warnings if individuals do not wearing an OHS helmet according to safety regulations. The use of Deep Learning technology in this method enables fast and accurate detection, contributing to increased awareness and compliance with workplace safety policies.With proper implementation, the system is expected to help create a safer work environment and improve the safety of workers, making the workplace more compliant with established OHS standards.

Abstract

Stress can affect individuals of all ages, from the young to the elderly, leading to a compromised immune system and increased susceptibility to illness. This study addresses this issue by developing an internet of things (IoT) based stress level detection system utilizing fuzzy logic methods. The device measures multiple physiological parameters and processes the data using an ESP32 microcontroller. This allows individuals to monitor and understand their stress levels efficiently and automatically through a liquid crystal display (LCD) display and Android devices. The system integrates various sensors to capture vital signs such as heart rate (HR), respiration rate, and body temperature. These readings are then analyzed using its algorithms to determine the stress level, which is displayed on both the onboard LCD and the connected Android device via an IoT interface. This real-time feedback mechanism empowers users to take proactive measures in stress management. Testing and validation of the device were conducted by comparing its readings with the depression anxiety stress scales (DASS-42) test results. The comparison showed an 80% correlation, demonstrating the device’s accuracy and reliability in detecting stress levels. This innovative approach leverages the advantages of IoT and fuzzy logic to provide a practical and effective solution for stress monitoring and management.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengembangan profesi guru adalah untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas guru agar semakin professional dalam melaksanakan tugasnya menggunakan media aplikasi Microsoft office power point. Ada beberapa faktor mengapa kegiatan ini diselenggarakan. Ada guru yang tidak terbiasa menggunakan teknologi sebagai media dalam pengajaran di kelas. Sekolah tidak menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai yang memungkinkan guru menciptakan media ajar mereka. Tidak adanya pembimbing dan pendampingan yang memberikan pendidikan singkat tentang bagaimana membuat media animasi untuk pengajaran di sekolah dasar. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini guru-guru SDN 130 Palembang diharapkan mampu menguasai dan memahami fitur dan fungsi yang ada pada Microsoft power point serta mampu membuat animasi untuk pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Microsoft power point.Kata kunci: animasi pembelajaran; pelatihan microsoft power point; presentasi atraktif. ABSTRACT Teacher professional development is to maintain and improve the quality of teachers to be more professional in carrying out their duties using Microsoft Office Power Point application media. There are several factors why this activity is held. There are teachers who are not used to using technology as a medium in classroom teaching. Schools do not provide adequate facilities that allow teachers to create their teaching media. The absence of mentors and mentors who provide short education about how to make animation media for teaching in elementary schools. With this training the SDN 130 Palembang teachers are expected to be able to master and understand the features and functions that exist in Microsoft power point and be able to create animations for learning using Microsoft power point.Keywords: attractif presentation; microsoft power point training; learning animation.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of legal supervision by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) in preventing election campaign violations, especially money politics practices, based on a normative analysis of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. Legal supervision has been proven to play an essential role in increasing the compliance of election participants and maintaining the integrity of the democratic process. However, the effectiveness of supervision still faces challenges in the form of limited resources, differences in legal interpretations, and low public awareness of the dangers of money politics. This study recommends strengthening institutional capacity, increasing synergy between institutions, and legal education for the public as strategic steps to create honest, fair, and trustworthy elections.

Abstract

This study developed a web-based monitoring system integrated into a smart dryer dome for automatic coffee drying. The system utilized the RN-GZWS-RS485 sensor to measure critical drying parameters: temperature, humidity, and light intensity. Data acquisition relied on an ESP32 microcontroller, transmitting real-time measurements to a server using the MQTT protocol, while sensor-actuator interactions operated through the Modbus protocol. Actuator performance adhered to predefined threshold values, maintaining drying temperature within 45–50?°C and relative humidity between 20–40%. Real-time monitoring and system status visualization were implemented via a Laravel-based web interface. Experimental tests demonstrated that 71.76% of temperature readings, 64.71% of humidity readings, and 68.24% of light intensity readings consistently fell within optimal ranges. Low standard deviation values confirmed the system’s effectiveness in maintaining stable drying conditions. Additionally, the integration of solar power facilitated system deployment in remote locations without conventional electricity infrastructure. These findings highlight the system's potential to improve the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of automatic coffee drying processes.

Abstract

Each laboratory has a person in charge (technician) that has a duty of serving the laboratory in term of operational and maintenance. The main task of a technician is to record and monitor the condition and completeness of laboratory equipment in the laboratory. The data collection process is done by writing a tool request form, therefore mistakes often occur. In this research, an Android-based laboratory asset monitoring and inventory application was made. By using the application, it is expected that technicians become easier to make any duties of reports including report of damaged laboratory equipments, request for reparation, the unavailable practical materials etc simply by using a Smartphone. Testing the application with the Black-Box testing method to investigate the function of each application component whether it is running well or not. The results obtained from the Black-Box test are the functions of each component were running as expected. The case study is conducted for Electrical Engineering Department at State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang (SPUP)

Abstract

Accurate river water level prediction is essential for flood management, especially in tropical areas like Palembang. This study systematically analyzes the performance of two deep learning models, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), for real-time water level forecasting using hourly rainfall and water level data collected from automatic sensors. A series of experiments were conducted by varying window sizes (10, 20, 30) and the number of layers (1, 2, 3) for both models, with model performance assessed using RMSE, MAE, MAPE, and NSE. The results demonstrate that both window size and network depth significantly influence prediction accuracy and computational efficiency. The LSTM model achieved its highest accuracy with a window size of 30 and a single layer, while the GRU model performed best with a window size of 20 and two layers. This work contributes by systematically analyzing hyperparameter configurations of LSTM and GRU models on hourly rainfall and water level time series for flood-prone regions, offering empirical insight into parameter tuning in recurrent neural architectures for hydrological forecasting. These findings highlight the importance of careful parameter selection in developing reliable early warning systems for flood risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the strength of appearance capital on voter perceptions and its contribution to the success of female political candidates in the Jambi Province General Election. Appearance capital includes physical appearance, attractiveness, and other visual elements. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through field studies and literature studies. Informants in this research included Jambi female politicians, academics, political observers, and the Jambi community. Researchers took these informants because they were considered the best in providing the information needed. The findings show that, although appearance capital can influence initial perceptions, other factors such as background, experience and political vision still play a crucial role in determining a candidate's success. This research can contribute in the form of new insights regarding the understanding of women's political participation in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Berkebun merupakan hal yang umum bagi masyarakat Indonesia karena sebagian besar penduduknya bekerja di sektor pertanian dan perkebunan. Salah satu metode bercocok tanam yang saat ini digemari masyarakat adalah hidroponik. Penelitian ini untuk membangun sebuah sistem pemantauan dan kendali kebun hidroponik sistem NFT menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat dipantau dan dikendalikan melalui aplikasi mobile. Menggunakan sensor TDS, pH air, suhu air, suhu dan kelembaban udara serta intensitas cahaya, dimana setiap sensor memiliki peranan masing-masing yang dapat mengendalikan pompa air, pompa nutrisi AB Mix dan grow light. Pengguna dapat melakukan pemantauan dan kendali kapan pun dan di mana pun secara otomatis atau manual dengan menggunakan aplikasi pada perangkat mobile. Sistem kontrol dan monitor nutrisi kebun hidroponik ini dibuat untuk mempermudah para petani ataupun masyarakat yang ingin atau sedang menjalankan sistem hidroponik ini. Karena sistem ini terdapat sensor-sensor seperti sensor TDS meter, pH meter, kelembaban dan suhu udara, sensor suhu air, serta sensor cahaya yang digunakan untuk kontrol dan monitor kebun hidroponik secara otomatis ataupun manual melalui aplikasi mobile. Implementasi IoT untuk sistem pemantauan dan kendali kebun hidroponik NFT dapat bekerja dengan baik dengan memenuhi fitur-fitur yang dibutuhkan. Adapun hal-hal yang menjadi saran sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk pengembangan aplikasi agar menjadi lebih baik adalah dengan menggunakan sensor yang mumpuni dan sesuai standar yang dapat meningkatkan akurasi hasil sensing sehingga sistem menjadi lebih efektif.Keyword: IoT, Hidroponik, NFT, Real Time, ESP32
