Abstract

Mitos merupakan sebuah sastra lisan yang menceritakan sebuah kejadian masa lampau berisi kepercayaan-kepercayaan pada dewa maupun makhluk setengah dewa yang seringkali dikaitkan dengan kepercayaan terhadap hal-hal berbau mistis. Sedangkan pantangan merupakan sebuah kepercayaan terhadap suatu hal yang jika dilanggar akan mengakibatkan terjadinya sesuatu hal yang buruk terhadap si pelanggar. Kehidupan masyarakat di era globalisasi pun masih erat berdampingan dengan mitos pantangan baik dari segi agama maupun budaya terutama di Desa Sungai Rotan Kecamatan Sungai Rotan Kabupaten Muara Enim. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimakah Mitologi Pantangan Dalam Religi Dan Budaya Masyarakat Desa Sungai Rotan Kecamatan Sungai Rotan Kabupaten Muara Enim (Kajian Semiotika)? Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Mitologi Pantangan dalam Religi dan Budaya Masyarakat Desa Sungai Rotan Kecamatan Sungai Rotan Kabupaten Muara Enim (Kajian Semiotika). Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih adanya kepercayaan yang dipegang masyarakat Desa Sungai Rotan terhadap mitos pantangan. Terdapat 42 mitos pantangan yang masih ada di Desa Sungai Rotan yang masih dipercaya masyarakat Desa Sungai Rotan hingga saat ini.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing parents' understanding of verbal abuse in children with the research location in Sungai Pinang village. The background of this study is that not a few parents who are verbally abusive to their children realise that this attitude will have a negative impact in the future.  This study used a descriptive qualitative method involving 7 parents as participants. The findings of this study suggest that most of the parents involved as participants do not understand verbal abuse, as well as the forms and impacts of verbal abuse itself. Thus, this research is expected to provide an overview of parents' understanding of verbal violence in Sungai Pinang village.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the principal's strategy to improve the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 West Pemulutan. Research using qualitative methods. Research informants are principals, educators and education personnel. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of data using credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability testing methods. The data analysis technique used is a Spradley model with stages of analysis of domain, taxonomy, componential and cultural themes. The results of the study stated that the principal's strategy is to improve the quality of education through fostering teacher discipline and education staff, providing motivation to teachers, rewarding teachers and education staff, seeking the availability of facilities and infrastructure as supporting facilities, MGMP, participating in teacher mobilization programs, participating in further studies, and the use of technology in learning. This strategy is very effectively used by SMA Negeri 1 West Pemulutan which can increase accreditation from C to B.

Abstract

Cerita rakyat Sumatera Selatan merepresentasikan nilai-nilai etika profetik dan kearifan lokal yang relevan dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kedua aspek tersebut melalui analisis unsur cerita. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data berupa kutipan dari cerita rakyat dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, simak, dan catat, lalu dianalisis dengan teknik interaktif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa cerita rakyat ini memuat tiga dimensi utama etika profetik: humanisasi, liberasi, dan transendensi, serta dua nilai kearifan lokal yang kuat, yakni nilai hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan dan sesama. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa cerita rakyat tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai warisan budaya, tetapi juga sebagai media pendidikan moral yang mendekati realitas masyarakat. Implikasinya, cerita rakyat dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran nilai-nilai etis dan spiritual dalam pendidikan. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi peran cerita rakyat dalam konteks modernisasi dan globalisasi agar nilai-nilai ini tetap relevan bagi generasi mendatang.

Abstract

This article comprehensively reviews the definition of ontology as a branch of philosophy that studies the nature of existence or reality. Furthermore, the discussion focuses on the application of the concept of ontology in the context of accounting science. It explains how ontology influences our understanding of the objects of accounting study, ranging from assets, liabilities, equity, to economic transactions. A deep understanding of ontology is expected to provide a strong basic framework for the development of more relevant and robust accounting theories and practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas, kendala, dan solusi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media edu game word search puzzle terhadap kemampuan menyusun kata siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas V di SD Negeri 227 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media edu game word search puzzle. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan menyusun kata sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (pretest dan posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata 77.08 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 64.76 untuk kelas kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji t-independen menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel (2.352 > 1.68), yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media edu game word search puzzle memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menyusun kata siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of epistemological views and artificial intelligence (AI) technology literacy on teacher self-efficacy in carrying out leadership tasks in elementary schools. The background of this study is based on the challenges of digital education transformation in the Penukal District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency, which requires teachers to have adaptive and technology-based leadership skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis technique. The study population involved all 30 elementary school teachers in Penukal District, with a total sampling technique. The results showed that both epistemological views and AI technology literacy had a positive and significant effect on teacher self-efficacy. AI technology literacy made a greater contribution, indicating that understanding and skills in AI technology substantially increased teachers' confidence in leading change. These findings recommend the importance of teacher training programs that integrate strengthening epistemological thinking and digital skills to support sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of understanding the philosophy of science on students’ critical attitudes and academic ethics in the learning process. Philosophy of science is essential in shaping systematic and reflective scientific thinking, while also serving as a foundation for academic character development. Using a quantitative approach, the research involved 30 postgraduate management students at Universitas PGRI Palembang. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale to measure three constructs: understanding of the philosophy of science, critical attitude, and academic ethics. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that understanding the philosophy of science has a positive and significant effect on students' critical attitudes. Students with deeper understanding demonstrate better logical, analytical, and reflective thinking. Moreover, it significantly influences academic ethics—those with philosophical awareness tend to uphold academic integrity and originality. These findings affirm that the philosophy of science serves not only as a conceptual framework but also as a tool for shaping students’ intellectual and moral qualities. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating philosophy of science into higher education curricula to foster critical thinking and ethical academic behavior among students

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the function and. The meaning of guritan oral literature in the Besemah tribe community in Muaradua Kisam. South Oku is reviewed and studied by literary anthropology, especially aspects of religious language and customs. This research uses the method, descriptive qualitative analysis. Data collection techniques in this research user observation techniques, interview techniques, SLC (Simak Libat Cakap) listening techniques, recording techniques and not-taking techniques. Data sources in this research include aspects and primary data, namely data in the form of videos of oral literature from the people of Besemah Muaradua Kisam Oku South in traditional events. Apart from that, other sources of data are secondary data, namely data sourced from books and journals relate to the problems in the research. Based on research conducted, there are 47 poems which are included in language aspect, 27 poems which are included in the religious aspect, and 13 poems which are included in the customs aspect.
