Abstract

Hadits merupakan salah satu sumber ajaran Islam. Secara struktural ia menduduki posisi kedua setelah al-Qur’an, sedangkan secara fungsional ia merupakan bayan (penjelas) terhadap al-Qur’an. Tak dapat dipungkiri bahwa ketepatan pemaknaan dan pemahaman hadits adalah sesuatu yang vital. Namun demikian, untuk menggali kandungan makna dari suatu hadits tidak semudah membalikkan telapak tangan. Adakalanya hadits hanya dimaknai secara tekstual tanpa memperhatikan aspek historisitas dan keadaan sosio-kultural masyarakat kala hadits diturunkan. Akibatnya terjadi konflik dalam masyarakat semisal ketimpangan dalam tataran relasi laki-laki dan perempuan akibat pemahaman hadits yang parsial hingga dinilai misoginis dan mendiskriminasikan posisi perempuan. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pemahaman terhadap  asbabul wurud dan melakukan reinterpretasi hadits berdasarkan pendekatan historis, sosiologis dan antropologis.

Abstract

The integration of Arabic Fusḥa in school curricula is important for improving students’ language proficiency and communication skills across different educational contexts. However, differences in teaching approaches, environment exposure, and language environments can cause challenges, especially when students from different backgrounds try to communicate using the same language. These challenges may lead to misunderstanding and misinterpretation during interaction. The aim of this research is to analyze the causes of these communication problems by comparing the teaching methods of Arabic Fusḥa at Al-Amien Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia and Al-Hukama International School in Jeddah, and to identify the linguistic and non-linguistic factors that influence students’ communication outcomes. This research uses a comparative qualitative approach. The data were collected through online interaction via Google Meet involving five students from Al-Amien and three students from Al-Hukama, as well as face-to-face interviews with the students and their Arabic teachers. Additional data included teaching plans, materials, and schedules, and observations focusing on students’ daily use of Fusḥa inside and outside the classroom and school hours. The findings have shown clear differences. Al-Amien students, who mostly learn Classical Arabic, face difficulty adapting to Modern Standard Arabic, while Al-Hukama students receive more exposure to contemporary usage. These differences resulted in non-harmonic conversations and cases of miscommunication. The study suggests that balanced exposure to both forms of Arabic, supported by interactive cross-institutional activities, can improve mutual understanding and support more effective for Arabic Fusḥa communication.

Abstract

Speaking skills are very important in learning Arabic. However, until now many students have difficulty speaking with Arabic language, because speaking skills must be based on confidence to be able to express and speak correctly and well. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence and how much influence the Talking Stick Method on students' speaking skills in learning Arabic. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in class VIII A MTs. Al-Amien Putri 1 with a population of 34 students. Data collection techniques used in this study, there are three methods, namely questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is a simple linear regression test with the help of a Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) For Windows versi 16.0. Based on the research results indicate that F count = 7,548 with a significance level of 0,010 < 0,05, it can be seen that there is a significant influence between the Talking Stick method variable (X) on the speaking skill variable (Y).

Abstract

Pelestarian seni dan budaya di Kabupaten Sumenep telah diatur melalui Peraturan Daerah Nomor 18 Tahun 2018 sebagai instrumen kebijakan daerah untuk menjaga keberlanjutan seni tradisional dan identitas budaya lokal. Namun, dalam praktiknya, kebijakan tersebut menghadapi tantangan implementasi yang berpotensi menghambat ketercapaian tujuan regulatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Peraturan Daerah Nomor 18 Tahun 2018 tentang Pelestarian Seni dan Budaya di Kabupaten Sumenep dengan menitikberatkan pada efektivitas kebijakan, kecukupan instrumen regulatif, serta pemerataan manfaat kebijakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain evaluasi kebijakan publik regulatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pelestarian seni dan budaya di Kabupaten Sumenep relatif efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan eksposur seni budaya, namun belum optimal dalam menjamin perlindungan struktural dan keberlanjutan seni tradisional secara merata. Keterbatasan utama terletak pada ketiadaan regulasi turunan yang operasional, lemahnya sistem pendataan seni, serta distribusi manfaat kebijakan yang belum inklusif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan kebijakan pelestarian seni melalui penyusunan regulasi teknis, pengembangan basis data seni yang terverifikasi, serta penguatan peran pemerintah daerah dan komunitas seni secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study examines the process of internalizing the values ​​of sincere character and the attitude of reverence of students through ngabula activities at the Al-Mubarok Miftahul Ulum Bindeng Sampang Islamic Boarding School. The background of this study is the importance of character education in forming a generation that has faith, sincerity, and respect for teachers, as well as the ability to face moral challenges in society. The problems raised in this study are 1. how is the internalization of sincere character education and the attitude of reverence of students through ngabula at the Al-Mubarok Miftahul Ulum Bindeng Sampang Islamic Boarding School 2. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in internalizing the character education of sincere and the attitude of reverence of students through ngabula at the Al-Mubarok Miftahul Ulum Bindeng Sampang Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with kyai, nyai, and kabula students. Data analysis in this study uses the Saldana, Miles, and Huberman models. The data analysis process is through data condensation, data presentation and verification of conclusions. The results of the study show that the internalization of the values ​​of sincerity and the attitude of reverence of students is carried out through three stages: namely transformation through book studies, transactions through giving advice and motivation, and transinternalization through habituation or special guidance. The supporting factors in the internalization of the values ​​of the character of sincerity and the attitude of reverence through ngabula activities include the culture of the Islamic boarding school that upholds religious values ​​and an environment that supports character formation and also special guidance from caregivers and support from the parents of the kabula students. While the inhibiting factors include the lack of understanding of the kabula students about the values ​​during the ngabula period, namely the importance of the values ​​of sincerity and the attitude of reverence in ngabula, as well as the influence of the environment outside the Islamic boarding school and also from the kabula students themselves, namely sometimes being lazy in carrying out tasks and delays in personal tasks of the kabula students due to the large number of ngabula tasks.
