PT XYZ is a company engaged in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sector. The line used is a shared facility between drug and cosmetic production. This type of product is in the form of cream, gel and semi solid. These bulk filling machines are used interchangeably, several problems were encountered, namely the length of the preparation process for the filling machine setup, causing delays in the filling process. PT XYZ made the right improvement by reducing the setup time for the filling machine preparation using the SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies method) method. SMED on filling machines is done by dividing a series of jobs in two stages of filling preparation process with external settings and the second stage of filling machine setup process. The results of the efficiency of the preparation time and machine set up can reduce the time by 40%

Indonesia is a country whose industrial development is very rapid, this spurs industrial companies to continue to compete and make restorations in increasing their performance. An effective and efficient production system will form a quality and competitive product, as a result of which the company can obtain aporisma profit and avoid losses. The losses experienced by the company are caused by waste. PT. XYZ is one example of several Indonesian cigarette manufacturers that have been known by many people. This company often experiences conflicts that exist because of the permborosan. as an example of waste that occurs, namely the delay which is not uncommon in the production process. the emergence of the conflict was material for researchers to conduct research using one of the lean manufacturing tools "8waste". The object of research used is the Blowmolding Department division, PT XYZ, with methods of observation, recording, and time study for each setup of change of activities carried out. Based on the data collection method, processing is carried out with the Single Minutes Exchange of Dies (SMED) method approach. The result of this study is that the majority of activities in the SMED method include internal activities, where in the setup process changes can be made to the work system. According to the activity category, it takes 3.28 hours while according to the work system category it takes 1.52 hours and 1.55 hours

Industry in each country has increased, as well as industry in Indonesia which is experiencing a fairly rapid increase. The improvement of product quality is that it can be done by carrying out maintenance to the machine used by the company. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a process of machine maintenance carried out in industry to maximize and can increase productivity. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces chemicals used for fabric production. This study aims to measure the level of effectiveness of the equipment used in PT. XYZ and measure how effective total equipment production. Determine the causal factors of low Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value and identify losses incurred, by providing proposed improvements in the factory by applying the TPM method. OEE values obtained in reactor engines at the plant in the period January-October 2021 with an average value reached of 55.63% - 60.60% are still below the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standard value caused by Quality Ratio which is still below jipm standard with an average value of 98.54%. Each company can find out the effectiveness of the machine used by using calculations of the level of effectiveness of equipment using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method based on overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)values. This study aims to identify problems related to quality and provide suggestions for improvement using the Lean Six Sigma approach. This Six Sigma approach will be used in the analysis of the powder drink production process at PT. ABC with DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The define stage aims to determine the aims and objectives of the research. The measure stage measures production performance with the current number of defects where the company currently has a DPMO performance of 3844.4 with a sigma value of 4.165. The analyze stage identifies the root problem that causes defects in the product using the fishbone diagram method. The improve stage takes corrective action based on the root of the problem identified in the fishbone diagram. The control stage is a follow-up after an improvement has been made to the system. Based on the results of the implementation of the DMAIC Six Sigma method, there are potential benefits that can be obtained by the company. To increase the sigma value, several improvement steps are proposed, including: Implementing predictive maintenance, training and coaching operators, using spare parts that are in accordance with machine specifications, providing feedback to suppliers regarding the poor quality of packaging materials

XYZ is a company engaged in the textile industry sector with its main product being gray fabric. The main part of increasing productivity is to pay attention to maintenance problems in the machine. One of the obstacles faced by companies in production is downtime which results in ineffective production levels so that production targets are not achieved and cause waste. The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of the washer machine by applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The research methods used are qualitative methods, case studies using design guidelines, data collection and data analysis approaches with clear evidence sources, as well as literature reviews so that a conclusion is obtained. The results showed that the availability rate of washer machines in November was more than the average for the 2020-2021 period was 86.90%. The performance rate in November had a smaller difference than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 88.59%. The rate of quality in November had a difference less than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 99.47%. The overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in November was more than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 76.57%.

PT Sinar Panca Mitra Indonesia (SPMI) was founded in 2011, and this company is engaged in the textile sector (small - medium business). The company has three divisions namely Multihead Division (fabric), Tricod Division (fabric) and Twisting Division (yarn). Based on the data, PT SPMI has two box cars as distribution media to consumers. However, the use of two boxcars is considered to be less effective and efficient because one of the two boxcars only delivers to one point. The research results show that by applying the Saving Matrix Method, PT SPMI can save on the number of vehicles, number of workers, delivery time and expenses. The initial fee is Rp. 262,520 for each time a delivery is made to Rp. 212,316. Where the PT SPMI company can make savings of Rp. 50,204 every time you make a delivery

Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) is an excess load on the vehicle. By definition, overload is a condition in which a vehicle carries a load that exceeds the specified load limit. While Overdimension is a condition where the dimensions of the vehicle carrier are not in accordance with production standards and regulatory provisions. The many negative impacts caused by ODOL; policy intervention is needed so that the target of zero ODOL can be realized immediately. This research is qualitative research that is a literature study (library research) that uses books and other literature as the main research object. The results of this study conclude that the zero ODOL policy must be realized immediately because many roads are damaged which causes many accidents, but requires joint awareness of the importance of implementing this policy

PT BCD is a company engaged in the distribution of drugs, pharmaceuticals and other consumer goods. PT BCD distributes products supplied by factories to consumers in the form of outlets, pharmacies and other large pharmaceutical companies (PBF), one of them is x product. To deliver x product to customers, PT BCD uses transportation in the form of box cars. In 2023, the Head of Expedition at PT BCD wants to determine which route should be taken so that the shipping process can be carried out effectively and efficiently and also can provide benefits in the form of savings. Therefore, this research was conducted to study the best route that should be taken by the expedition team using the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbors methods. Based on the results of data processing and analysis carried out using both methods, the best route was obtained which was able to provide savings of 39.61% with a total distance reduction of 46.1 km
