Abstract

Abstract: The education system oriented to the 2013 Curriculum places more emphasis on student activity (student center) which is oriented towards attitudes and skills. In addition, student activity is still low, the delivery of material in one direction results in the lack of training in students' science process skills, and there are some learning materials that are abstract in nature, which are difficult to understand, resulting in difficulties in understanding physics learning. So that research is carried out on the development of scientific approach-oriented learning tools on the material of the XII SMA class Magnetic Field. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model which is carried out only up to the development stage. The types of data to be obtained in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is in the form of validity values from learning tools, and qualitative data is obtained from criticism and suggestions from validators. The data collection instrument used is in the form of a learning device validation sheet. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the learning device. The results showed that the validity of the learning device as a whole obtained a valid category, so that it was declared worthy of use in learning. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in physics learning outcomes class IX SMP N 3 Tambang using model cooperative learning type group investigation (GI) with smart ballons game. The form of this study was Quasi Experimental Design with design Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample of research is student of IX.3 as experiment class and IX.2 as control class. Instrument of data collection is the result of cognitive learning given to the post learning sample. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed the students average absorption by applying model cooperative learning type GI with smart ballons game is higher than the application of conventional learning. Thus concluded that the application of learning model cooperative learning type GI with smart ballons game can improve student learning outcomes in learning Physics in dynamic electricity material in class IX SMP N 3 Tambang.Keywords: Model Cooperative Learning Type GI With Smart Ballons Game, LearningOutcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe students cognitive learning outcomes in light materials through the application of advance organizer learning model. This research was conucted in grade VIII SMPN 3 Tambang from March to May 2018. The subjects of this research were the students of class VIII.2 as the experimental class applying the advance organizer model and the students of class VIII.5 as the control class applying the conventional learning model. Each class consists of 27 students. This form of research is Pre-Experimental design with intact group comparison design. The instrument of data collection in this study is a cognitive larning result test consisting of 20 item of objective and given the end o treatment. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The result of descriptive analysis obtained the average absorption power of 70,93 % with is in good category and students learning result with conventional learning obtained the average absorption 65,37 % with is in good enough category. It can be concluded that learning using advance organizer model on light material is more effective in improving students cognive learning outcomes in light material class VIII SMPN 3 Tambang.Key word : Advance Organizer Model, Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: One of the things that supports the success of the learning process is the presence of the right learning devices. Physics learning is usually monotonous with the presence of many formulas, so that students have difficulty in understanding the concept, as in equilibrium and rotational dynamics matter. The low understanding of physics concepts is also influenced by learning media that are not attractive to students, especially during online learning. Solutions are needed to overcome these problems, one of which is by applying e-learning as an innovation in the learning process. The device developed in this study is an e-learning learning devices using Chamilo in equilibrium and rotational dynamics, consisting of Learning Plans (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and Learning Assessments. The purpose of this research is to produce valid e-learning learning devices. The type of research carried out is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which is carried out only until the development stage. The type of data obtained is quantitative in the form of validity values. The data collection instrument used was in the form of a learning device validation sheet. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the learning tools. The results showed that the e-learning learning tools using Chamilo were declared valid and suitable for use in learning as a whole.Key words: e-learning, learning devices, Chamilo

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to design and produce physics learning media usingthe Articulate Storyline 3 application on Newton's law material for valid class X. Theresearch method used is research and development or Research and Development withthe ADDIE development model. The ADDIE stage was carried out in Analysis, Design,and Development. Media validation is seen from 5 aspects, namely the subject matteraspect to see the suitability of the material with the initial purpose of making theprogram, the auxiliary information aspect to see any additional information that is notdirectly related to the material, the interface aspect to see the product display, thenavigation aspect to see the consistency of the navigation used and the pedagogy aspectto see the suitability of the competencies used. The results showed that the physicslearning media using the Articulate Storyline 3 application on Newton's law materialfor classes was valid.Key Words: Articulate Storyline 3, Learning Media, Newton’s Law

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of students' scientific attitude between after and before the implementation of cooperative learning model type probing Prompting on the Force material. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tambang Kampar regency, which consists of 25 students. Data in this research is primary data obtained from prestest and posttest score of student using questionnaire of scientific attitude of student then analyzed descriptively. Questionnaire student's scientific attitude consists of four indicators of curiosity, critical thinking, open thinking and honest. Based on data analysis, the score of attitude of scientific students beginning and end with high category. Then analyzed by using the gain where the students 'attitude of students' scientific attitude gained by 0,36 in the middle category. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of Prompting probing type can improve students' scientific attitude toward middle category category.Keywords: Probing Prompting, Student's Scientific Attitude, force

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aims to determine the increasing in student’s generic skill through the implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model in physics science learning process at grade VIII MtsN Sungai Tonang. The population of this research is class VIII consisting of 2 classes. Samples taken are 2 classes, determination technique experimental class and control class are by simple random sampling. This research was conducted in MTsN Sungai Tonang from July to December 2015. The design of this research was a True Experimental with Posttest-Only Control Design. Instrument of collecting data in this research is achievement test generic skill which given after learning. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential. Descriptive analysis of student’s generic skill after learning with implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model is 76,02% including the category of well. The results of inferential analysis obtained by value thitung > ttabel ( 4,015 > 2,028 ) , so we can conclude there is a significant difference to the generic skill applying Learning Cycle 5E model with a class that implements conventional teaching with a 95% confidence level . From both of the analysis, it can be concluded that implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model effective to improve student’s generic skill physics science learning process at grade VIII MTsN Sungai Tonang.Key Words: Generic Skill, Learning Cycle 5E, Force and Acceleration2

Abstract

Abstract: The developed Instructional tools used cooperative-based model with Guided Inquiry-learning which implemented in Physics material of Momentum and Impluses for the first year students of SMA, consisting of Lesson Plan (RPP), Students’ Worksheet (LKPD), and scientific questionnaires. The purpose of this study is to find out students’ scientific attitude and the type of this research is pre-experiment research of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the data used in this study was the data from students’ scientific attitude during the learning process. The instrument used in this study was the questionnaires of students’ scientific attitude. The questionnaires of scientific attitude was adapted from the questionnaires which developed by Afrianti (2016). Based on the results of a descriptive analysis which obtained from the students’ scientific scores that assessed from every scientific aspects which consist of curiousity, open mind, critical thinking and honesty. From the result, it can be seen that each indicator of scientific attitudes is increasing after the application of Guided Inquiry -learning in Momentum and Impulses material. With the increased of scientific attitudes, the students’ average scientific scores are also increased. In the early scientific attitude, the average score was 2.46 in low category and increased to 1.11 points on the final scientific attitude with an average score 3.56 in high category. Therefore, the Instructional Tools which developed by using Guided Inquiry-learning are able to enhance students’ scientific attitude.Key Words: Students’ Scientific Attitude, Guided Inquiry, Momentum impulses

Abstract

The form of this study was Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of research is student of XI MIPA3 as experiment class and class XI MIPA2 as control class. Instrumen of data collection is the result of cognitive learning given to the sample before and after the learning. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential anaysis. The result showed the students average absorption by applying problem based learning model with phymagz media is higher than the application of conventional learning. Thus concluded that the application of learning problem based learning model with phymagz media can improve student learning outcomes in learning physics in static fluid in class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Dumai.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Physics Magazine, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to produce a multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOT) that is valid on straight motion material and can be used in learning. The type of research that will be used is research and development (according to Sugiyono). The object of this research is a multi-representation module based on High Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material. The research instrument used was a validation sheet for developing High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) multirepresentation modules that would be prepared based on standard assessment indicators set by the Ministry of National Education regarding the guidelines for writing modules with some modifications according to the requiredmodule specifications. The steps that will be taken to conduct data analysis in this study are to convert the module validation sheet using a Likert scale in order to obtain quantitative data . The results obtained showed that the aspects of the feasibility of the content, language, graphics and presentation of each module are valid with good and very good categories. Thus it can be concluded that the multi-representation module based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on straight motion material has been valid based on aspects of content worthiness, language, graphics and presentation so that it is appropriate to be used as a learning resource that guides students in understanding straight motion material.Key Words:Multi-Representation Module, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), Straight Motion.
