Abstract

Abstract : This study was aimed to determine the enhancement of student learning result in physics by the aplication of scaffolding learning strategy. The type of reseach which was used was quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was the students of XI IPA class at MAN 1 INHIL academic year 2017/2018 which consisted of 123 student divided in four classes. The sample in this study was obtained based on the normality and homogenity tests. When all of classes were proved to be normal and homogenous, two classes were chosen randomly to be the experiment class and control class. The instrument which was use to collect the data was a test of learning result as pretest and posttest. The data was analize by the descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis showed the avarage absorption level in experimen class was 80,22 % and 70,22 % for control class, both were in good category. Based on the inferential analysis, it can be concluded that the application of scaffolding learning strategy can enhance students’ study result at XI IPA 1 class of MAN I INHIL on sound and light waves material.Keywords : Scaffolding learning strategy, study result, sound and light waves.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class X MIA SMA N 1 Mandah with the application of scientific approach slammed media application Articulate Storyline 3, and to find out the difference between the results of learning physics of class students who apply scientific approach slammed media application articulate storyline 3 with conventional classes. This type of research is quantitative using quasi experiment methods, and the design used is pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in the study was 56 students, 28 students of class X MIA 1 and 28 students of class X MIA 2. Data analysis is done with descriptive analysis as well as inferential analysis using parametric statistics. The results of this study showed the results of learning physics students with the application of scientific approaches assisted by articulate storyline application media 3 with an average score of 74.88 higher than the results of learning physics with conventional learning with a score of 74.88 higher than the results of studying physics with conventional learning with a score of 74.88 physics.Key Word : Learning Media, Articulacate Storyline 3, Newton's Law

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the understanding of physical concepts by the implementation of SAVI strategies (Somatic, Audiotory, Visual, and Intellectual) using media education cards and knowing differences student’s understanding of physical concepts by SAVI learning strategies using media education cards with conventional learning models. The research method used is Posstest-Only design. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru, which is class VIIIA was an experimental class and class VIIID was a control class. The experimental class uses the SAVI learning strategy using education cards media and a control class with conventional learning. The data was obtained from concept understanding test which given to student after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively by using indicator of concept understanding criteria to provide an overview of students' understanding of concepts and also inferentially using the independent-sample t-test.The research result obtained were the average of students concept understanding score in the experimental class higher than controll class.Thus it was concluded that the implementation of the SAVI learning strategy using an education card media has given good influence, improved interest in learning, make students more active, So that it can increase student’s understanding concept of physics in SMP N 23 Pekanbaru on the material vibrations, waves, and sounds.Key Word : Concept Understanding, SAVI Learning Strategies, Education Card

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe students' cognitive learning outcomes with the application of learning models in the seventh grade of Pekanbaru State Middle School 40. The study was conducted in Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. The research method used was Pre-Experimental design with the design of Intact Group Comparison. The research subjects consisted of 2 classes, in which class VII3 as the experimental class and class VII1 as the control class. In the learning process, the experimental class uses a 5E Learning Cycle model and a control class with a conventional model. Data collection using a written test in objective form (multiple choice) to see student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques that are used to provide an overview of students 'cognitive learning outcomes including students' absorption of understanding concepts and learning effectiveness in temperature and heat material. The results showed that the average absorbency obtained by students in the experimental class was 6.09 higher than the absorption capacity of the control class. The conclusion of this study was: the application of the 5E cycle learning model (Learning Cycle) was more effective to improve student learning outcomes.Key Words: 5E learning cycle model, student cognitive results, temperature and heat.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability of scientific reasoning is an ability needed in physics lessons that is in connecting new concepts. The main purpose of this research is to find out the pattern and level of scientific reasoning ability of students class X of SMA Negeri Tampan District of Pekanbaru in the subject work and energy. In this study the population is 324 class X students from SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru dan SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling so that a sample of 68 students was obtained. The instrument of this research is a test of scientific reasoning ability developed refer to the the Lawson's Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) by Lawson. The scientific reasoning problem used consist of 12 reasoned multiple choice questions which represent 6 indicators of scientific reasoning ability, which included conservation reasoning, proportional reasoning, control of variables, probabilistic reasoning, correlation reasoning, and deductive-hyphotesis reasoning. Data is collected by giving a tes of scientific reasoning ability to the sample. Data analysis ini this study used descriptive analysis with scoring techniques in pairs, which provided an overview of the patterns and levels of students scientific reasoning abilities. The results of this study provide an information that the tenth grade students of Tampan District of Pekanbaru in the subject work and energy have a pettern of reasoning in the concrete operational category with a percentage of 100% and have level of scientific reasoning in the category of very less with average percentage of 11,15%.Key Words: Scientific reasoning, Work and Energy, Descriptive Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: Concept mastery is the ability of students to understand science scientifically both concepts in theory and their application in everyday life. The SSCS learning model is able to improve students' concept mastery abilities. The method used to measure the level of mastery of student concepts is done by applying Bloom's taxonomy to the categories of remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with Posttest-Only Design. The sample chosen by simple random sampling technique was class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class totaling 34 students and class XI IPA 3 as a control class with a total of 33 students. The research instrument used the ability to test the mastery of physics concepts based on Bloom indicators in the C1 to C6 question categories.Data collection techniques in the form of scores on the mastery of students' physics concepts after the learning process was carried out in both classes. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at student score results and analyzed inferentially usingthe independent sample t-test. The results showed the average physics concept mastery score of students who studied with the SSCS model was higher than conventional learning. Learning by applying the SSCS model gives a good influence, activities and cooperation of students increases and makes students more enthusiastic in learning so as to increase mastery of the concept of class XI students of SMAN 1 Kepenuhan on the material Elasticity and Hooke's Law.Key Words:SSCS, Mastery of Concepts, Elasticity and Hooke's Law

Abstract

Abstract: Animated video as a learning media is a learning media that packs animated videos into powerpoint media. In addition to animated videos, on powerpoint media there are also learning tools to support learning media. Animated video as a learning media in this study was developed on the material of Harmonic Vibration in SMA. The purpose of this research is to produce animated videos as a valid learning media and can be used for teaching and learning physics in SMA on Harmonic Vibration material. This research is expected to make it easier for students to understand the concept of harmonic vibrations. In addition, this media is expected to make it easier for teachers to convey the lessons taught to students, especially in understanding the concept of Harmonic Vibration in SMA. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. This research is only limited to the development stage. The research instrument used in this study was the media validation assessment sheet and the materials used by the validator to assess the feasibility of using animated videos as learning media for teaching and learning activities. Data analysis in this study used quantitative data analysis, by calculating the average validity score of each validity indicator. The results showed that the animated video as a learning media was declared valid with an overall average score of 3.35 with a very good category, so it was declared feasible to be used in teaching and learning physics on harmonic vibration material in SMA.Key Words : Animated Video, Learning Media, Harmonious Vibration

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to analyze the need to develop a teaching materialneeded in learning, namely e-module based problem solving on projectile motion materialfor class X SMA/MA. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that is orientedtowards the development of a product. The subjects in this study were students of class XlSMA in the city of Pekanbaru. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire viaGoogle Form. Then the needs analysis questionnaire filled by respondents as many as 100students, it was found that students were generally passive during the learning process.Students enjoy participating in learning that involves them actively, such as conductingexperiments. Students feel uninterested in learning if they only listen to the teacher'sexplanation, without involving their active participation. Students also feel happy if thereare learning resources that can utilize Android or IT so that the learning materials areinteractive. Then students also expect a learning process that makes them active inparticipating in learning activities. Meanwhile, for material that is considered difficult bystudents in the classroom X is parabolic motion material. Abstract

Herba akar kucing (Acalypha indica) dan herba suruhan (Peperomia pellucida) merupakan tanaman herbal Indonesia yang dapat digunakan dalam menurukan kadar asam urat. Efek yang ditimbulkan harus didukung dengan tingkat keamanan dalam penggunaan terhadap tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kombinasi ekstrak terhadap fungsi ginjal tikus putih jantan dan betina. Parameter yang diamati adalah parameter kimia ginjal, yaitu kadar kreatinin dan kadar urea plasma, serta didukung oleh parameter histologis ginjal, yaitu diameter glomerulus dan jarak ruang antara glomerulus dan Kapsula Bowman. Pada kombinasi dosis tertinggi yang digunakan (0,4 g herba suruhan dan 10,8 g akar kucing/200g BB) tidak memberikan perbedaan yang bermakna pada semua parameter terhadap ginjal tikus putih jantan dan betina bila dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (? = 0,05). Begitupula pada pemberian dosis tunggal herba suruhan (0,2 g/200g BB) dan herba akar kucing (5,4 g/200g BB). Demikian, penggunaan ekstrak herba suruhan dan akar kucing pada dosis tersebut aman bagi ginjal.
