Abstract

Hill Cipher is a one of the symmetric key cryptography algorithm that using an invertible matrix with an order n×n as a key to encrypt and decrypt plaintext. Meanwhile, ElGamal is other asymmetric key cryptography algorithm that use the complexity of discrete logarithms in the encryption and decryption process. In this study, the authors are interest in combine the Hill Cipher and ElGamal algorithms to secure text messages. The author use the matrix as a symmetric key and converts the plaintext in the table of ASCII 256. Then encrypt using the Hill Cipher algorithm which results the ciphertext from messages and ElGamal algorithm results the ciphertext of the symmetric key. In processing decryption using the ElGamal algorithm to determine the symmetric key that will be used as a key in the decryption process with the Hill Cipher algorithm so that the original plaintext is obtained. Then the results obtained are that the combination of the Hill Cipher and ElGamal algorithms to secure text messages can be done it well.

Abstract

Cryptography is one method that can be used to secure a message by hiding the original text. This study uses the One Time Pad (OTP) algorithm to secure a message and the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) algorithm as a key generator. The purpose of this study is to describe the key generation process using the LCG algorithm, the encryption and decryption process of messages using the OTP algorithm. The process of encrypting and decrypting messages using the OTP algorithm requires a key as long as the original message and must be random. Therefore, a random number generation process is carried out using the LCG algorithm before encoding the message. The results of this study are the LCG algorithm is able to build dynamic keys with the condition that the length of the period must be greater than or equal to the length of the plaintext. The process of encoding messages using the OTP algorithm has a high level of security because the number of characters used is more and the process of sending messages is easier. The resulting ciphertext is a very random and unreadable message that is difficult to decipher.

Abstract

Hasil belajar sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan dari proses pembelajaran di kelas dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya yaitu lingkungan keluarga (faktor eksternal), motivasi, dan minat (faktor internal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, motivasi dan minat terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan model regresi logistik dengan lingkungan keluarga, motivasi, dan minat sebagai variabel independen dan hasil belajar matematika sebagai variabel dependent yang terklasifikasi berdasarkan skala Likert 1 (sangat tidak baik), 2 (tidak baik), 3 (cukup baik), 4 (baik), dan 5 (sangat baik). Responden pada penelitian ini diambil dari 74 siswa di SMPN 3 Kasembon dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan nilai taraf kesalahan 5% didapatkan tiga model matematik pengaruh lingkungan keluarga, motivasi, dan minat terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa yaitu: Logit(Y2) = 12.769 + 1495x1 + 1790x2 + 1408x3 Logit(Y3) = 18.154 + 1495x1 + 1790x2 + 1408x3 Logit(Y4) = 22.817 + 1495x1 + 1790x2 + 1408x3 Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan tiga model tingkat hasil elajar matematika siswa yang terdiri dari tidak baik, cuku baik, dan baik. Hasil ini didukung nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 69% yang menjelaskan bahwa lingkungan keluarga, motivasi, dan minat memiliki pengaruh sebesar 83% terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dibandingkan dengan pengaruh yang lain.

Abstract

Cryptography is widely used to overcome information security problems that are exchanged on the internet network. One of the algorithms in cryptography is the Vigenere Cipher, the algorithm is known as a robust method and is not easily solved. However, the Vigenere Cipher algorithm has a weakness, namely the key is short and is used repeatedly. Therefore, it is necessary to modify the Vigenere Cipher. The purpose of this study is to determine the modification of the Vigenere Cipher using a symmetric group and also to determine the level of security of the encryption results of Vigenere Cipher modification when compared to the Vigenere Cipher. The results obtained from this research is a new algorithm of the modification process of the Vigenere Cipher using symmetric groups. The modified Vigenere Cipher algorithm is proven to be stronger than the Vigenere Cipher. This is because the plaintext is scrambled first using a symmetric group encoding, so that the actual plaintext is safe against attacks by the Kasiski method and exhaustive key search. In addition, the resulting new algorithm also supports the use of capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Abstract

A graph is a non-empty set whose members are vertices and edges, where the edges connect several pairs of these vertices; likewise, social media connects users with each other through interests, relationships, likes and dislikes. The rapid development of technology in the era of globalization has made social media a more effective source of information, one of them is Twitter which has been used by 280 million people in the world. This research involves 100 Twitter users who are classified as Influencers in Indonesia who have more than 10,000 followers by visualizing their relationship with other users followed by them with a directed and weighted graph. First, the data is filtered using the Twecoll script in Python software, then the data is visualized using the Gephi software in the form of a directed and weighted graph. The centrality value is calculated to determine the influential influencers in spreading information on the network. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the network pattern of 100 Influencers that had been collected in the following list of @dearmyths accounts, there were 96 points and 1883 sides with the side having the highest weight being @detikcom, followed by @ivanlanin and @ernestprakasa through the results of centrality calculations as accounts that can disseminate information on the network.

Abstract

Kemandirian siswa merupakan salah satu indikator tercapainya tujuan dalam pembelajaran. Kemandirian siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal yang meliputi minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap kemandirian siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan model regresi logistik dengan minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga sebagai variabel independen dan kemandirian siswa yang terklasifikasi berdasarkan skala Likert 1 (sangat tidak mandiri), 2 (tidak mandiri), 3 (mandiri), dan 4 (sangat mandiri) sebagai variabel dependen. Responden pada penelitian ini diambil dari 146 siswa di MA Al-Karimi Tebuwung, Dukun, Gresik dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan nilai taraf kesalahan 5% didapatkan tiga model matematik pengaruh minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap kemandirian siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan tiga model tingkat kemandirian siswa yang terdiri dari sangat tidak mandiri, tidak mandiri, dan mandiri. Hasil ini didukung nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 40.3% yang menjelaskan bahwa minat belajar dan lingkungan keluarga memiliki pengaruh sebesar 63.2% terhadap kemandirian siswa dibandingkan dengan pengaruh yang lain

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses skafolding metakognitif dalam mengatasi lubang konstruksi akibat kegagalan akomodasi. Siswa dalam menerima informasi atau stimulus baru jika tidak menyesuaikan dengan pengetahuan lama yang dimiliki maka akan kesulitan atau harus disertai penyesuaian skema berpikir untuk mencapai titik keseimbangan. Jika konstruksi pengetahuan siswa belum lengkap, maka hal ini disebut lubang konstruksi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini diperlukan bantuan, dalam hal ini adalah skafolding metakognitif. Pendekatan penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di SMAN 1 Talun dan SMAII Al-Amin Sumberpucung. Data berupa jawaban tes, hasil think aloud, ditambah hasil wawancara. Proses analisis data yaitu menelaah data dan catatan pengamatan kemudian melakukan reduksi dan rangkuman inti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa dengan lubang konstruksi akibat gagal melakukan akomodasi diatasi dengan level 2 skafolding dan pertanyaan metakognitif tahap planning, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Pertanyaan metakognitif diberikan beberapa kali sampai subjek memahami. Bantuan terus diberikan sampai mencapai transfer of responsibility. Pertanyaan metakognitif akan terus diulangi sampai jawaban subjek benar.

Abstract

Madrasah students' mathematical connection skills need to be of particular concern in the process of learning mathematics. Connection skills are the base for students to connect concepts in mathematics, mathematical concepts with other science concepts and mathematical concepts with everyday life. One of the efforts made in overcoming this problem is to use e-learning. Descriptive quantitative research methods are used to see how effective e-learning is for students' mathematical connection abilities. A total of 30 students were selected as research samples for data collection. Data processing techniques were divided into control groups and subsequent experiments were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the effectiveness of technology-based e-learning included moderate criteria with an ING score of 0.56, whereas the study group without e-learning included moderate criteria with an ING value of 0.29. In conclusion, there is an increase in student learning outcomes after using e-learning media. t-test was obtained > with 0.007 <∝ (0.05) indicating that e-learning was effective to improve the mathematical connection ability of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students.

Abstract

Problem-solving abilities have an important role in learning, especially in solving math problems, one of which is in circle material. This study aims to describe the mathematics problem solving process of junior high school students in solving circle problems through the process of solving problems in IDEAL. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The results showed that, based on the problem-solving process, each subject had a different problem-solving process. S-1 with the category of completely solving problems fulfills the indicators in solving IDEAL problems. S-2 with the category of correct but not perfect does not yet fulfill the IDEAL problem-solving process. S-2 experienced errors when exploring the strategy and implementing the first problem strategy so that the final result was not in accordance with the objectives of the first problem. S-3 with the category of imperfect does not yet fulfill the IDEAL problem-solving process. S-3 only fulfills one IDEAL problem solving indicators, implementing strategies. However, the problem-solving process carried out by S-3 is not exactly in accordance with the objectives of the first and second problems.
