Abstract

Madrasah students' mathematical connection skills need to be of particular concern in the process of learning mathematics. Connection skills are the base for students to connect concepts in mathematics, mathematical concepts with other science concepts and mathematical concepts with everyday life. One of the efforts made in overcoming this problem is to use e-learning. Descriptive quantitative research methods are used to see how effective e-learning is for students' mathematical connection abilities. A total of 30 students were selected as research samples for data collection. Data processing techniques were divided into control groups and subsequent experiments were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the effectiveness of technology-based e-learning included moderate criteria with an ING score of 0.56, whereas the study group without e-learning included moderate criteria with an ING value of 0.29. In conclusion, there is an increase in student learning outcomes after using e-learning media. t-test was obtained > with 0.007 <? (0.05) indicating that e-learning was effective to improve the mathematical connection ability of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure mathematical literacy skills of a student after mathematics learning processes using naive geometry method on the quadratic equation. This research is using quantitative methods. This research was implemented at SMP Ulul Albab. The mathematical literacy skills obtained from observation and mathematics literacy tests which refer to the mathematics literacy indicator. The tests were given after a teaching and learning process using naive geometry while observation was done during the learning process. The results show that 22.73% students have high mathematical literacy skill, 68.18% students have intermediate mathematical literacy, and 9.09% students who have low math skills literacy.

Abstract

The number of rice field in Indonesia is decreasing due to development of residential areas and buildings. Consequently, it reduces foodstuff availability and government should import it from other. Increasing food production and minimizing imported food can be started by clustering fields as an evaluation. This clustering is approached by Fuzzy C-Means. Training and Testing data are implemented on Matlab and yield three categories, wide, medium and narrow field. Moreover, the most potential field is East Java, Central Java, and West Java

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop lesson plan (RPP) with a blended learning model in rotation of flipped classrooms and teaching materials packed into schoology to practice self-regulated learning skills in a valid and practical application. The form of the lesson plan integrates self-regulated learning aspects into learning activities to practice the students’ self-regulated learning skills. The learning material is arranged into two types: interesting reading books in PDF and animated PPT (Ms.PowerPoint) slides. The whole of the materials, discussions, and exercises are included in schoology. The topics discussed in this research are sine and cosine rules. The research applies the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model of research and development. The subjects of the research are 38 students of X Science 5 of MAN 2 Gresik. The data of the research is collected by field-note and validation sheets, then analyzed with the field-note data analysis techniques, validity, and practicality of the learning media. The result of the research shows that the developed lesson plan is reached the eligibility standard based on the validity and practicality of the learning media. The validity score of the lesson plan is 4,52 on average with the highly valid category, and the validity score of learning materials in schoology is 4,48 with the highly valid category. The experts stated that the lesson plans and teaching materials in schoology that were developed were feasible with an average value of "A" which means that the learning tools developed are practical and can be applied without revision.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan RPP model pembelajaran blended learning dengan rotasi flipped classroom dan bahan ajar yang dikemas dalam schoology guna melatih kemampuan self-regulated learning yang valid dan praktis digunakan. RPP disusun dengan mengintegrasikan aspek-aspek self-regulated learning dalam kegiatan pembelajaran agar dapat melatih kemampuan self-regulated learning siswa. Bahan ajar disusun dalam dua bentuk yaitu buku bacaan menarik berupa PDF dan animasi PPT. Seluruh materi pada bahan ajar, diskusi, dan latihan soal dimuat di dalam media schoology. Materi yang digunakan dalam perangkat pembelajaran adalah aturan sinus dan cosinus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 5 MAN 2 Gresik berjumlah 38 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah lembar field note (catatan lapangan) dan lembar validasi. Data penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data field note, kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran, dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi standar kelayakan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil kevalidan dan kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil kevalidan RPP diperoleh rata-rata 4,52 dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan hasil kevalidan bahan ajar dalam schoology diperoleh rata-rata 4,48 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Para ahli menyatakan bahwa RPP dan bahan ajar dalam schoology yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dengan rata-rata nilai “A” yang artinya perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan praktis dan dapat digunakan tanpa revisi.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago. Consequently, themajorities are working around the sea such as a fisherman.While the number of activities at sea are increasing more accident occurred are rising. This research presents marine weather prediction system using Hybrid Methods TS-ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System – Time Series) in orderto anticipate bad weather and reduce risk. This method use bothocean current and wave height at Java Sea particularly on Gresikin order to forecast ocean current velocity and wave height. Inputvariables used in this paper are data at (t), an hour before (t-1),and two hours before (t-2) and obtained next hour, next 6 hours,next 12 hours, and next day prediction as output. The resultsindicate that ocean current speed attain 16.97327 cm/s; 13.22302cm/s; 10.21107 cm/s; 14.09871 cm/s with mean error is about0.12993; 1.5758; 1.3182; 0.82613 while wave height reach 0.45554m; 0.48286 m; 0.46395 m; 0.54571 m with mean error is about0.0012247; 0.018619; 0.046584; 0.060206. Therefore, it was safe tosailing on 1st January 2016.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) disesuaikan model accelerated learning dengan strategi firing line. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) kevalidan RPP dan LKPD, 2) kepraktisan RPP dan LKPD, 3) keefektifan RPP dan LKPD, dan 4) disposisi matematis. RPP dan LKPD dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi fase analisis, fase perencanaan, fase pengembangan, fase penerapan, dan fase penilaian. Uji coba perangkat dilakukan pada tanggal 22 s.d 23 Agustus 2019 di MTsN 1 Kota Surabaya. Instrumen uji coba perangkat berupa lembar catatan lapangan, lembar angket validasi, lembar observasi dan lembar angket. Hasil analisis data berupa RPP dan LKPDdengan rata-rata secara berturut-turut 4,30 dan 4,31. RPP dan LKPD tergolong praktis dan mendapat nilai B (layak digunakan dengan sedikit revisi). Aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif,dengan rata-rata 89,58% pada pertemuan pertama dan rata-rata pertemuan kedua sebesar 93,50%, Selain itu, dilihat dari keterlaksanaan sintaksnya, kedua pertemuan memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 80% dan 84,71%. Selain itu, RPP dan LKPD yang dikembangkan tergolong efektif. Dengan demikian, disposisi matematis pada mayoritas siswa kelas VIII H MTsN 1 Kota Surabaya tergolong cukup baik.

Abstract

Game Penjelajah Ruang (The Space Exploration Game, Ganjaran) is a learning media in the form of an Android-based educational game to practice the mathematical reasoning skills of class VIII students on SPLDV questions. The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in solving SPLDV questions on Android-based of Ganjaran. The students' mathematical reasoning ability can be seen from the results of working on the SPLDV questions by students which are made based on mathematical reasoning indicators. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Krian as many as 4 students who had played the Ganjaran. The test instrument used in this study was a 5-point SPLDV reasoning question with short answers. From the results of the study, the average value of students' mathematical reasoning abilities was 56.25 which was quite sufficient. Overall, the indicator of mathematical reasoning ability that is mostly mastered by students is indicator c (drawing conclusions, compiling evidence, providing reasons or evidence for the correctness of the solution), while the indicator of student mathematical reasoning that is less mastered by students is indicator a (proposing conjectures).

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there is a significant comparison to the mathematical learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 3 Waru when doing face-to-face learning and online learning. The learning results used in this study are the PAS scores of class VIII learners in odd and even semesters of the 2019/2020 school year. The method used in this study was ex post facto correlation and used the Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS 25 software. Wilcoxon's statistical test results showed the 2-tailed Asymptotic Significance was worth 0,506. Because 0,506>0,05 then H_a rejected and H_0 accepted, it can be concluded that this study shows no significant difference in the mathematical learning outcomes of SMPN 3 Waru learners when doing face-to-face and online learning.

Abstract

Penerapan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan objek perguruan tinggi sebagai sebuah lembaga secara holistik belum ada. Sebagai pelaksana tridharma, sudah seharusnya perguruan tinggi mengimplemntasikan teori-teori pengabdian kepada masyarakat ke dalam. Apalagi, perguruan tinggi didukung aset baik SDM maupun SDA yang sangat luar biasa. Tulisan ini menyajikan empat tahapan dalam metode ABCD yakni Discovery, Dream, Design, dan Destiny  dalam menyiapkan dan menyusun akreditasi program studi APS 4.0. Hasil Pemetaan Aset Kampus ditinjau dari IAPS 4.0 diperoleh bahwa Aset Manusia inline dengan Kriteria 2 dan Kriteria 3, Aset Fisik selaras dengan Kriteria 1 dan Kriteria 4, Aset Sosial cocok dengan Kriteria 6 dan Kriteria 7, Aset  Finansial tercermin dalam Kriteria 4, Aset Natural mencerminkan Kriteria 4. Selanjutnya brsama dengan komunitas disusun strategi dan timeline penyusunan Laporan Kinerja Progam Studi (LKPS) dan Laporan Evaluasi Diri Program Studi (LEDPS). Pelaksanaan kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah disepakati dilakukan oleh komunitas didampingi tim. Tahapan akhir dilakukan melalui simulasi atas isian komunitas. Hasil simulasi ini menjadi bagian yang sangat penting untuk melihat posisi prodi serta sebagai pijakan untuk menentukan langkah kongkret dalam meningkatkan mutu program studi
