Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the level of self-efficacy of students as prediction factors of readiness to do classroom tasks. Students must have confidence in their readiness about the skills they are involved in, this is known as self efficacy. These variables were tested to see the role of self efficacy predicting the readiness of students in completing their college assignments and the results of this study found that these variables are more able to predict students readiness. Analysis of research data by using descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The sample of this research is the students of Department of Guidance and Counseling STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. The results showed that the students’ self efficacy had an effect on self-capability and individual student activity. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efikasi diri mahasiswa sebagai faktor prediksi kesiapan mengerjakan tugas-tugas kuliah. Mahasiswa harus memiliki keyakinan diri terhadap kesiapan dirinya tentang keahlian yang mereka tekuni, hal ini dikenal dengan efikasi diri. Variabel ini yang diuji untuk melihat peran efikasi diri memprediksi kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas kuliahnya dan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa variabel ini lebih bisa memprediksi kesiapan mahasiswa. Analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri yang dimiliki mahasiswa berpengaruh terhadap kapabilitas diri dan aktivitas individu mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to answer the main problem whether learning achievement could be viewed from self-regulated learning, future orientation and parental support to obtain empirical support. This research used quantitative methods, the sample of 103 people. The data was collected with instruments, scale (1) self-regulated learning, (2) future orientation and (3) parental support.  Learning achievement used report card grades. The results showed that learning achievement could be viewed from self-regulated learning, future orientation and parental support. It got very significant empirical support., score F reg=43,155 dan p=0,000 (p<0,01). Self-regulated learning, future orientation, and parental support provided an effective contribution of 55.4% to learning achievement. The biggest SE was from parental support 37.4%, followed by self-regulated learning 12.7%, and future orientation 6.6%. Based on the findings, the researcher suggests: (1) parents need to maximize learning support for children, strengthen emotional support, instrumental, and informative support. (2) teachers need to introduce self-regulated learning to students. (3) teachers and parents to explore the future orientation of children or students well, so that they grow stronger for a more planned future. And (4) researchers recommend the following research in elementary, junior high, senior high school and PT.

Abstract

Tulisan ini dilatar belakangi oleh terbatasnya jasa layanan lembaga psikologi di Sumatera Barat,khususnya Kota Padang. Karena keterbatasan lemabaga psikologi tersebut, pemetaan sumber dayamanusia (SDM) pada aspek psikologis terkendala. Pemerintahan daerah dalam rekrutman SDM,maupun analisis jabatan pada aspek psikologis sedikit agak terabaikan.Berdasarkan permasalahan ini penulis dan tim melakukan analisis kebermanfaatan lembagapsikologi Kota Padang 2016. Hasil analisis memutuskan pada tahun tersebut, sebagai wujud aplikasidari salah satu kegiatan tri darma perguruan tinggi, mengejawantahkan ide dasar ini menjadikegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang diusulkan pada skema Ibtek Bagi Kreativitasdan Inovasi Kampus (IBKIK) pada DRPM Kemenristek Dikti dengan nama IBKIK Lembaga Psikologi.Naskah ini merupakan kajian umum, berhubungan dengan pengembangan lembaga psikologisebagai sarana penguatan inovasi SDM di Kota Padang. Tulisan ini ditulis dengan menggunakanpendekatan deskriptif deduktif verifikatif.Lembaga psikologi ini dapat didirikan 2017 lalu, bergerak pada empat jasa layanan psikologi,sebagai sarana penguatan inovasi SDM di Kota Padang. Empat jasa layanan psikologi tersebutmeliputi; (1) jasa tes psikologi (psikotest), (2) jasa konseling psikologis, (3) jasa konsultasi psikologis,dan (4) kegiatan psikologi.Pada tahun pertama berdiri, lembaga psikologi ini cukup mendapat tempat di hati masyarakatSumatera Barat. Begitu juga Kota Padang. Hal ini dibuktikan antara lain dengan permintaan tespsikologi pada jasa layanan tes psikologi (psikotest) yang ada. Ditambah dengan dukungan yangamat besar dari DRPM Kemenristek Dikti yang telah mengkucurkan dana hibah tahun 2017 padaPKM ini, begitu juga pada tahun kedua, IBKIK Lembaga Psikologi juga memperoleh dana hibahlanjutan dari DRPM Kemenristek Dikti 2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine teachers’ roles in improving students' self-adjustment and its supporting factors at Ar-Risalah Islamic Junior High School, Padang, Indonesia. This is qualitative descriptive research with data collected from teachers, students, principals, and other school officials through interview, observation, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed using reduction and triangulation processes. The result showed that the teacher had expertise as a motivator to support and trigger the student enthusiasm in adapting and learning new materials at school. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors of the self-adjustment process were parents that have not been able to let their children go to boarding schools and teachers without psychological backgrounds, because this background are needed for better approach and intervention for children to make them enthusiasm in learning in boarding school

Abstract

Counseling has been such a trend in 21 century, as a science that studied a human in psychology perspective. However, it appear with progressive touch, has affect in human mindset in every life that undertake. In 21 century development, many opinion and argumentation about counseling has an uniqueness in philosophy multicultural perspective that counseling has linkage with cultural and philosophy values in human it self, that make a new paradigm has been raise to the surface, such indigineous counseling and multicultural counseling perspective. Regardless with that paradigm, we can’t deny that basically all of science was from a human philosophy about their life with purpose to make understand and handle their life with solving a problems. But is there all of cultural and philosophy can be a such formulation to solve the problem? If cultural and philosophy values transform to such formulation as a science, is there a procedure and criteria to admitt that? Also if counseling only such philosophy or science, practical intervention, how to implemented in real life that has a multicultural and multivalues in philosophy of life? In this article, will describe such a synthesize about counseling as a  science or practical science in education in multicultural philosophy paradigm and perception counselor about counseling profession.

Abstract

In counseling service, there are many type of counseling in it’s practice, the one of the type was a counsultation service. This type of counseling service was help the consultee to solve a problem of the other people that need their help, this can be implemented if consultee can solve their own problem,. This service always implemented in school setting, this because of a counseling in school will help like parents, or another student to help their kids or their friends in learning process. But in reality of counseling practice was far from the ideal. How is the school consultation service in Indonesia implemented? and what are the problems? is a question that needs to be answered. This paper tries to answer the question with the method of analysis of research results with qualitative and also seek a satisfaction of consultation service. there are three researches on consulteeng services that have been done in three cities, namely Semarang, Padang and Banjarmasin. The research finds three categories of service implementation, is good, moderate and sufficient. The barriers found are low support from counsultte  and misunderstood the concept of consulteeng services. The effort to overcome the problem is with the improvement of quality of counselor which facilitated by MGBK. Dalam pelayanan konseling, adanya banyak jenis pelayanan konseling, salah satunya adalah pelayanan konsultasi. Jenis pelayanan konseling ini membantu konsulti untuk memecahkan masalah dari orang lain yang membutuhkan masukan darinya. Hal ini bisa diimplementasikan jika konsulti sudah bisa memecahkan masalahnya sendiri. Pelayanan ini selalu bisa diimplementasikan dalam seting sekolah, hal ini karena konseling disekolah akan membantu dan banyak berhadapan dengan seperti orang tua siswa, wali siswa, siswa yang membutuhkan kiat untuk anak dan teman sebayanya dalam proses belajar. Akan tetapi, realitanya praktek konseling masih jauh dari yang seharusnya. Bagaimana pelayanan konsultasi  sekolah di Indonesia di laksanakan ? dan apa saja permasalahnnya? merupakan pertanyaan yang perlu di jawab. Tulisan ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan tersebut dengan metode analisis hasil penelitain dengan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dan juga menlihat kepuasan dari pelayanan konsultasi. terdapat tiga Riset tentang layanan konsultasi yang pernah di lakukan di tiga kota, yakni Semarang, Padang dan Banjarmasin. Hasil riset menemukan tiga kategori pelaksanaan layanan, yakni baik, sedang dan cukup. Hambatan yang di temukan berupa rendahnya dukungan dari counsultte dan salah memahami konsep layanan konsultasi. Upaya mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan  peningkatan mutu konselor yang di fasilitasi oleh MGBK

Abstract

DEVELOPING A POSITIVE THINKING SKILL OF IMPPS MEMBERS THROUGH GROUP COUNSELING SERVICE. Activities of community service was based on a phenomena about lack of student’s positive thinking skill and there are not functional optimally in a positive way. The purpose of this service is to developing a positive thinking skill of IMPPS members in Padang through group counseling service. The implementation method used consist of five phase which is 1) Shaping, 2) Transition, 3) Intervention, 4) Conclusion, and 5) Closing service. A total participant was 50 students of IMPPS Member. Result of this service was a member of IMPPS Padang has a knowledge, paradigm, and positive thinking skill in their activities in social and learning.

Abstract

Research purpose is for reveal the effectivity of relaxation with meditation technique for helping releasing a student’s stress before national examination. Quantitative analysis was using in this research with pre-experiment through one group pretest-posttest design with twelve respondent that has been indentified a stress condition through instrumentation with likert scale. Data analyse with wilcoxon and descriptive. The result was found that there was a significant difference about the level of student’s stress before a national examination and after has given an intervention such a relaxation with meditation technique with asympthotic significant two tailed 0.000. This research can be conclude that relaxation with meditation technique can reduce student’s condition of stress to face a national exam.

Abstract

Pendidikan bagi peserta didik telah memasuki paradigma baru di masa pandemi COVID-19 pada lima bulan terakhir. Kebijakan yang ditempuh pemerintah dengan menetapkan merdeka belajar menjadi era baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Peserta didik pada satuan tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi perlu menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi baru dalam proses belajar era merdeka belajar masa kini. Situasi pandemi COVID-19 mengajak pendidikan untuk melakukan aktivitas belajar dan pembelajaran secara tidak langsung melalui media berbasis online dengan memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi informasi hasil revolusi industri 4.0. Pendidikan melalui media berbasis online memberikan peluang bagi peserta didik untuk berkembang secara mandiri dengan pembinaan dan bimbingan dari para pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan pada tingkat dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi. Peserta didik membutuhkan bentuk pendidikan yang tepat agar mampu menyesuaikan kondisi pribadi dengan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dalam pendidikan era merdeka belajar. Pendidikan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi peserta didik untuk membekali aspek fisik dan psikis agar mampu menyesuaikan diri dalam pendidikan di era medeka belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran deskriptif mengenai pentingnya pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik di era merdeka belajar. metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka. sumber data adalah artikel penelitian dan buku-buku yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (conten analys) dan instrumen penelitian berupa chek list sumber data penelitian yang di butuhkan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik menjadi kebutuhan penting di era merdeka belajar. sehingga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan perlu menyediakan fasilitas dalam menyediakan pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is the psychological aspect that shapes human activity. It comes from experience and ability about themselves to accomplish the task. In this article, discussed research findings in 2012 and 2015 on self-efficacy perception students in readiness to complete the task of college, whether there is a change during the period from three years after the condition of efficacy himself in completing the task. This research used a quantitative descriptive method, and took with proportional stratified random sampling. Research in 2012 found that perceptions of self-efficacy students in completing a lecture in the level of underprivileged and research in 2015 found that the level capable and have a contribution in preparedness in completion of the task. The question that will be discussed throughout this article, does self-efficacy have the effect of different educational backgrounds? These findings have an impact of the reality in the practice of counseling services which researchers and colleagues must recognize and handle.
