Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of manager commitment in implementing transformational leadership styles through their role as coaches on improving team performance. One of the initiatives is the Leader as Coach program, where managers are trained as internal coaches to help teams achieve organizational goals. The research uses a quantitative methodology with a survey, involving 40 respondents, including managers as internal coaches and employees/coachees from various departments at PT. X who participated in the coaching program. Analysis is conducted using SmartPLS to test the relationship between the role and commitment of managers as internal coaches, transformational leadership style, and its impact on employee performance. Contextual factors such as managerial support, organizational structure, and organizational culture are also considered to assess their influence on the success and effectiveness of the coaching program in enhancing employee competencies and overall organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy on job performance with AI anxiety and managing workplace FOMO as mediating variables in millennial generation employees in start-up companies. Millennial employees, who dominate the workforce in this sector, have unique characteristics such as flexible work preferences, dependence on technology, and the need for a collaborative work environment. However, they also face psychological challenges due to high work dynamics, such as anxiety about AI and the pressure to always be connected. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving millennial employees from various start-up companies in Indonesia. Data was collected through online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between variables in the research model developed based on the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model. The results showed that transformational leadership and AI literacy have a positive and significant effect on job performance. In addition, AI anxiety and managing workplace FOMO proved to be significant mediators, where transformational leadership and high levels of AI literacy were able to reduce anxiety about technology and stress due to digital pressure. Thus, this study provides theoretical and practical contributions in the development of leadership strategies and human resource policies, especially in improving the welfare and productivity of millennial employees in a digital technology-based work environment. Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformational leadership dan artificial intelligence (AI) literacy terhadap job performance dengan AI anxiety dan managing workplace FOMO sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan generasi milenial di perusahaan start-up. Karyawan milenial, yang mendominasi tenaga kerja di sektor ini, memiliki karakteristik unik seperti preferensi kerja fleksibel, ketergantungan pada teknologi, dan kebutuhan akan lingkungan kerja yang kolaboratif. Namun, mereka juga menghadapi tantangan psikologis akibat dinamika kerja yang tinggi, seperti kecemasan terhadap AI dan tekanan untuk selalu terhubung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang melibatkan karyawan milenial dari berbagai perusahaan start-up di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel dalam model penelitian yang dikembangkan berdasarkan Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership dan AI literacy memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job performance. Selain itu, AI anxiety dan managing workplace FOMO terbukti sebagai mediator yang signifikan, di mana kepemimpinan transformatif dan tingkat literasi AI yang tinggi mampu mengurangi kecemasan terhadap teknologi serta stres akibat tekanan digital. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis dalam pengembangan strategi kepemimpinan dan kebijakan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan produktivitas karyawan milenial di lingkungan kerja berbasis teknologi digital.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dana cadangan terhadap besarnya uang beredar dan alat kebijakan moneter yang digunakan pemerintah dalam mengawasi kegiatan ekonomi. Bank Sentral dapat menambah atau mengurangi jumlah uang beredar melalui komposisi dana cadangan.Yang merupakan alat kebijakan moneter adalah pengendalian kredit umum, pengendalian kredit selektif dan moral suasion. Pengendalian kredit umum terdiri dari tiga yaitu reserves requirement policy, open market operation, dan rediscount rate policy. Pengendalian kredit selektif dapat positif maupun negatif. Pengendalian negatif menurunkan penawaran atau menaikkan biaya kredit untuk keperluan tertentu. Pengendalian positif menaikkan penawaran atau menurunkan biaya kredit untuk keperluan tertentu. Kebijakan moral suasion merupakan metode untuk menghimbau para bankir dan pengusaha untuk mengikuti dan mentaati kebijakan yang telah ditetapkan Bank Sentral. Kebijakan moneter yang digunakan di Indonesia adalah operasi pasar terbuka, fasilitas diskonte, Giro Wajib Minimum (GWM), dan Moral Suasion (persuasi moral).Kata kunci: Reserves Requirement Policy, open market operation, rediscount rate policy, positive control, negative control, moral suasion, the money multiplier.

Abstract

The organizational culture is one of indicators indicates to increase the corporate comparative advantage. The organization’s succes depends on the increasing of performance, in other side the failure of organization comes from the decreasing in performance. The purpose of this research is to explore the concept of the organizational culture and its role in achieving organizational success. The type of research used was library research. The organizational culture consist three levels, such as artifact, espoused values, and basic assumption. Organizational culture has to differentiate between strong and weak culture. Strong cultures have a greater impact on employee behaviors and are more directly related to reduce turnover.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi jemaat Gereja Kristen Pasundan (GKP) Palalangon melalui pelatihan pemasaran produk dan desain grafis menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Berdasarkan hasil survei awal, jemaat menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pengetahuan manajemen usaha kecil dan strategi pemasaran yang efektif. Melalui pendekatan Competency-Based Training (CBT), kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 April 2024 dan diikuti oleh 50 peserta dari kalangan remaja hingga dewasa. Pelatihan difokuskan pada penguatan konsep bauran pemasaran (7P), perizinan usaha, serta kemampuan desain kemasan dan media promosi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap strategi pemasaran modern serta kemampuan untuk menghasilkan desain yang menarik dan fungsional. Program ini berhasil membekali jemaat dengan keterampilan praktis yang dapat menunjang pengembangan UMKM lokal secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study explores the dominant leadership styles among academic leaders in a private university in Bandung and their influence on administrative staff performance in the context of digital transformation. The research is grounded in the growing importance of adaptive, value-based, and technologically driven leadership to support higher education institutions in facing the challenges of globalization and digitalization. Using a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 30 administrative staff from various faculties and academic departments. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that measured three dimensions of academic leadership: transformational, transactional, and digital leadership. Validity and reliability analyses confirmed that all items used in the instrument were statistically valid and internally consistent (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.9). Descriptive results revealed that transformational leadership was the most dominant style perceived by respondents, characterized by visionary direction, inspirational motivation, integrity, and support for professional development. Although transactional and digital leadership also received positive responses, some gaps were identified, such as limited involvement in addressing internal issues and inconsistent application of digital strategies. Based on the findings, it is recommended that academic leaders strengthen strategic vision, promote innovation and technology use, provide fair evaluation systems, and enhance feedback mechanisms. Active involvement in professional development initiatives is also crucial to foster a collaborative and high-performing academic environment. This research contributes to the understanding of effective academic leadership and provides practical recommendations for institutional improvement in the digital era.

Abstract

The automotive industry is one of the largest manufacturing commodities for export value in Indonesia. The automotive industry currently has two active generations of workers including generations Y and Z with different characteristics. Companies engaged in the automotive industry must be able to understand these characteristics so that performance remains in accordance with what the company wants. The purpose of this research is to ascertain and examine whether there influence of compensation and organizational culture with workstress as a mediating variable on employee performance, data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents with a purposive sampling method on employees in the automotive industry sector in Bandung with Smart-PLS software, and the results show that compensation and organizational culture with workstress as a mediating variable have a positive and significant effect on employee performance on generation Y and Z automotive industry employees in Bandung.

Abstract

Purpose – The study aims to identify production function equation between labour and capital also optimal cost of labour and capital of the cooperatives. In order to raise the level of this research to be international, this study compares two countries, namely the Philippines and Indonesia by applying performances of cooperatives in both countries. Methodology/approach – Cobb Douglass production function equation of labour and capital is applied in this research. Optimal cost using partial differential equation also used between cost of wage of labour and cost of capital. Cooperatives in 15 regions in Philippines and 33 provinces in Indonesia were the object of the research Findings – Philippines has an increasing scale of return because the value of the constant is greater than one, on the other hand Indonesia has a declining scale of return. However, the two countries have in common that capital is correlated with cooperative output, while labour is not correlated with output significantly. Novelty/value – This study highlights the important of the use of economic analytical of the capital and labour to the cooperatives in Philippines and Indonesia. Both   cooperatives have significant correlation between output and capital, but did not correlate significantly to labour.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan di era pandemi Covid-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) menghadapi tantangan baru. Pandemi membatasi atau bahkan menghilangkan pekerjaan yang dilakukan di kantor, sehingga organisasi, terutama universitas, mengubah sistem kerjanya menjadi virtual. Kepemimpinan yang dilakukan di masa pandemi harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungan virtual. Tujuan penelitian kualitatif ini untuk memperoleh pemahaman tentang pengalaman praktik pemimpin tim virtual dalam mencapai efektivitas organisasi. Dalam penelitian ini, baik data primer maupun data sekunder diperoleh. Sembilan wawancara dilakukan dengan peserta yang diambil dari populasi manajer tim yang memiliki pengalaman sebagai pemimpin selama pandemi di universitas. Analisis tematik dilakukan untuk menentukan tema dan kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pemimpin virtual yang paling diperhatikan oleh peserta pendidikan tinggi adalah komunikasi, keterampilan teknologi, adaptasi dan fleksibilitas, kolaborasi, kerja tim dan keterlibatan, kepercayaan dan delegasi, produksi. Studi ini memiliki implikasi bagi pemimpin tim virtual organisasi. Temuan studi mungkin berguna bagi para sarjana dan praktisi yang tertarik pada kepemimpinan organisasi dan virtual dan bagi mereka yang ingin memperluas penelitian.
