Abstract

The long waiting time is due to the large number of prescriptions that must be served by the staff, the writing of the prescription is unclear and incomplete (for example: dose, amount, and patient name) so that the pharmacy staff must confirm it first with the doctor who wrote the prescription, this is because Doctors' knowledge of the availability of medicines is not well confirmed and doctors write prescriptions for medicines that are difficult for staff and patients to understand if they want to redeem medicines again. To overcome this problem, a drug redemption information system is needed. Research and development with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation was used as the research method. The development method used is waterfall by pressman which consists of the stages of system requirements analysis, system design, coding and testing. This research produces a website-based drug redemption information system at the RSIA Muhammadiyah pharmacy installation in Probolinggo City which has advantages including redeeming medication electronically using a prescription given by a doctor, medication redemption can be done anywhere and then you can choose to pick it up at the hospital or have it delivered. Home, chat with pharmacists in real time which aims to make it easier for patients to ask questions about medicines, and electronic prescriptions to reduce prescriptions that are difficult to read.

Abstract

Widodo Ngawi Hospital is currently handling the high volume of medical record documents, with 11,986 outpatient documents and 13,065 inpatient documents in 2023. Retention activities have not been carried out since 2015 due to the unavailability of a system that supports transferring medical record documents and retention alerts. The absence of retention activities has reduced the storage capacity of medical record documents, resulting in medical record documents being easily damaged, not neatly arranged, and not in accordance with their preparation, causing services to patients to be less optimal and efficient. The purpose of this study is to design and create a web-based medical record document transfer and retention information system to support media transfer and retention of medical record documents. The method used is the Waterfall system development method, which consists of needs analysis, design, code generation, testing, and maintenance, though the maintenance stage is not carried out in this study. The result of this research is an information system that helps media transfer, retention, and destruction. Based on the test results, the system functions properly, and no errors were found in all modules on both admin and user access rights.

Abstract

Abstract

Stroke is a major global health problem that may lead to permanent disability or death. In Indonesia, analytical approaches such as data mining have been increasingly used to support early identification of stroke risk based on patient health records. This study applies the Naive Bayes algorithm as the main classification method. The research procedure includes data collection from the Kaggle repository, data selection based on predetermined clinical criteria, data cleaning to remove duplicates and missing values, and data transformation by converting categorical attributes into numerical form. The dataset was then split into training and testing subsets for model development. The final dataset consisted of 3,256 patient records containing variables such as gender, age group, hypertension, heart disease, average glucose level, body mass index (BMI), smoking status, and stroke occurrence. After completing these preprocessing stages, the Naive Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 89.49%. This result indicates that the model was able to classify stroke and non-stroke cases in the dataset with a satisfactory level of accuracy. The findings suggest that the model may serve as a baseline component for developing decision-support systems aimed at facilitating early identification of stroke risk in targeted population groups.

Abstract

Communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis (TB), Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), and HIV/AIDS remain major public health challenges in Indonesia, including Jember Regency. Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Health indicates an increasing trend in these diseases, emphasizing the importance of early detection through screening as a strategy to reduce transmission and mortality rates. This study creates an interface design that aims to create an infectious disease screening information system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is not yet available in the Teaching Factory for Health Innovation (V-Kes) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. RAD was chosen because it allows rapid system development through continuous iterations and active user involvement. The research involves a multidisciplinary team from the fields of health, information technology, and management, while V-Kes functions as both an innovation laboratory and a real-world practice setting that integrates digital technology into community-based health services. The expected outputs of this research include scientific publications at national and international conferences, scientific posters, copyright registration of the information system, and a comprehensive final report. This interface design will later enable the developed system to accelerate the detection of infectious diseases, increase service efficiency, and enrich students' learning experiences through the Teaching Factory 4.0 concept. Moreover, this study contributes to strengthening local digital health systems and provides a replicable model for health technology development in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The uneven understanding and skills of health workers in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at the primary care level, especially in the Jember Regency, is a fundamental problem that hinders the acceleration of digital transformation in the health sector. This condition is further complicated by the mandatory implementation of EMR in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations, which also covers independent health worker practices, which are not yet fully understood and optimally responded to in the field. Additionally, access to practical and applicable EMR training remains limited, while the role of the Teaching Factory for Health Innovation (V-KES) as a digital health training center has not been fully utilized. The lack of post-training assistance has contributed to difficulties in implementing RME in daily practice, compounded by a low level of understanding of the urgency of transitioning from manual to digital systems, which affects the mental and technical readiness of health workers. Therefore, the solutions offered include 1) Conducting RME training based on hands-on practice, 2) Provision of modules or pocket books, dissemination of regulations in infographic or short video formats, 3) Utilization of the V-KES Teaching Factory as a simulation training center with Ministry of Health standard software, involvement of academic facilitators and health IT practitioners, as well as continuous online and offline assistance. This program will also be accompanied by strengthening the V-KES curriculum and promoting a digital mindset shift to support the full readiness of independent healthcare practitioners in implementing a nationally integrated RME system.
