Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju erosi dengan variasi tanaman penutup tanah dan intensitas hujan menggunakan rainfall simulator. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sebuah informasi terhadap pengukuran  erosi dengan variasi tanaman penutup tanah dan intensitas hujan menggunakan rainfall simulator, serta dapat memberikan informasi tanaman penutup tanah yang baik untuk pencegahan erosi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanah tanpa tanaman penutup tanah, tanaman penutup tanah rumput gajah mini dan tanaman penutup tanah rumput jepang. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi intensitas hujan yaitu intensitas pertama 81,00 mm/jam dengan klasifikasi hujan ringan, intensitas kedua 305,8 mm/jam dengan klasifikasi hujan sedang dan intensitas ketiga 611,5 mm/jam dengan klasifikasi hujan lebat. Pengambilan sampel tanah di lapangan pada penelitian ini menggunakan plot erosi. Pengukuran erosi dan intensitas hujan di laboratorium pada penelitian ini menggunakan rainfall simulator. Hasil pengukuran erosi pada penelitian yang tertinggi terdapat pada tanah tanpa tanaman penutup tanah dengan kemiringan lereng 55% dan intensitas hujan 611,5 mm/jam  dengan jumlah erosi 50,00 ton/ha termasuk klasifikasi rendah. Sedangkan jumlah erosi terendah terdapat pada tanaman penutup gajah mini dengan lereng 11% dan intensitas hujan 81,00 mm/jam dengan jumlah 5,10 ton/ha termasuk klasifikasi sangat rendah. Hasil pengukuran erosi tanaman penutup tanah yang efektif digunakan untuk pencegahan erosi, yaitu rumput gajah mini. Hal ini disebabkan karena rumput gajah mini memiliki daun yang lebih lebat dan memiliki kerapatan dibandingkan rumput jepang.Measuring the Erosion with Variations in Cover Crops, Rain Intensity and Slope Using a Rainfall SimulatorAbstract. This study aims to determine the rate of erosion with a variety of cover crops and rainfall intensity using a rainfall simulator. This research is expected to provide information on the measurement of erosion rates with a variety of ground cover plants and rain intensity using a rainfall simulator, and can provide information on good ground cover plants for erosion prevention. This research was conducted on soil without ground cover plants, mini elephant grass cover plants and Japanese grass cover plants. This study used variations in rain intensity, namely the first intensity was 81.00 mm/hour with the classification of light rain, the second intensity was 305.8 mm/hour with the classification of moderate rain and the third intensity was 611.5 mm/hour with the classification of heavy rain. Soil sampling in the field in this study used erosion plots. Measurement of erosion rate and rain intensity in the laboratory in this study used a rainfall simulator. The results of measuring the highest erosion rate in this study were found in soil without cover crops with a slope of 55% and a rain intensity of 611.5 mm/hour with an amount of erosion of 50.00 tonnes/ha which is classified as low. While the lowest amount of erosion was found in mini elephant cover crops with a slope of 11% and a rain intensity of 81.0 mm/hour with an amount of 5.10 tonnes/ha which is classified as very low. The results of measuring the erosion rate of ground cover plants that are effective for erosion prevention are mini elephant grass. This is because mini elephant grass has thicker leaves and has a density compared to Japanese grass.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelas mutu air untuk kebutuhan penduduk berdasarkan baku mutu di sekitar Sub DAS Kalarengkih Kabupaten Aceh Tengah.. Lokasi di Sub DAS Kalarengkih Kecamatan Bintang Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan melalui survei lapang dan analisis laboratorium. Untuk pengambilan sampel air dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan cara penarikan sampel yang dilakukan memilih subjek berdasarkan kriteria spesifik yang dianggap tepat dan sesuai terhadap fenomena yang diteliti yaitu terdiri dari 5 titik sampel. analisis kelas mutu air sungai mempergunakan baku mutu sebagai pembanding untuk kelayakan kualitas parameter sungai yaitu Peraturan Pemerintah No 82 Tahun 2001 yaitu mengkaji data baku mutu air hanya untuk parameter fisika (TSS, TDS, Temperatur, Kekeruhan) dan kimia (Nitrat, Nitrit, pH, BOD, COD, Sulfat) selanjutnya dapat ditentukan klasifikasi airnya. Hasil Kelas Mutu Air Sub DAS kalarengkih berdasarkan baku mutu pada titik 1 tergolong Kelas 1 yang berada pada hulu Sub DAS Kalarengkih. Pada titik 2, 3, 4 dan 5 tergolong Kelas 4  dengan faktor pembatas Nitrit yang melebihi batas ambang baku mutu, disamping itu pada titik 4 juga terdapat nilai Nitrat yang tinggi, Nitrit terdapat pada outlet yang berada pada areal persawahan sedangkan Nitrat outletnya berada pada areal pemukiman, hal ini diduga Nitrit berasal dari hasil pemupukan dan Nitrat diduga hasil dari buangan limbah pemukiman.Analysis Class of Water Quality Based on Quality Standard in Kalarengkih Wateshed Regency of Aceh TengahAbstract. This study aims to determine the quality class of water for the needs of the population based on quality standards around the Kalarengkih Sub-Basin Central Aceh Regency .. Location in Kalarengkih Sub DAS Sub-District Bintang Regency Central Aceh. The research used quantitative descriptive method implemented through field survey and laboratory analysis. For the sampling of water is done by purposive sampling that is sampling by way of sampling conducted by choosing subject based on specific criterion which is deemed appropriate and appropriate to phenomenon studied that consist of 5 point sample. analysis of river water quality class using quality standard as a comparison for the feasibility of river parameter quality that is Government Regulation No. 82 Year 2001 that is studying data of water quality standard only for physics parameter (TSS, TDS, Temperature, Turbidity) and chemistry (Nitrate, Nitrite, pH, BOD, COD, Sulfate) can then be determined water classification. Results Quality Class Water Sub DAS kalarengkih based on the quality standard at point 1 Class Class 1 located in the upstream Kalarengkih Sub-watershed. At point 2, 3, 4 and 5 belong to Class 4 with limiting factor of Nitrite which exceed the quality standard threshold, beside that at point 4 there is also high Nitrate value, Nitrite is in outlet located in rice field area while Nitrate outlet is in area settlement, it is suspected Nitrite comes from the result of fertilization and Nitrate is suspected to result from disposal of waste settlement.

Abstract

Abstract . Ketika semua pori-pori dalam tanah terisi air, maka tanah tersebut dikatakan memiliki daya hantar hidrolik (tanah jenuh). Tidak seperti drainase, yang hanya mengacu pada tindakan pergerakan air, konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh juga mengacu pada bagaimana air, bahan organik, bahan mineral, udara, dan partikel lain yang diangkut oleh air akan diserap ke dalam tanah. Tekstur, struktur, dan porositas adalah tiga variabel yang dapat berdampak pada persyaratan konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh. Penelitian ini mengkaji konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh pada penggunaan lahan hutan, tanaman palawija pada Andisol dan Entisol di Kecamatan Seulimeum, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Menurut temuan studi, nilai konduktivitas hidrolik jenuh di lapangan tergolong ke dalam relatif lamban dan sedang. Assessment of Saturated Hydrolic Conductivity in Several Soil Typesand Land UsesAbstract. When all the pores in the soil are filled with water, the soil is said to have hydraulic conductivity (saturated soil). Unlike drainage, which simply refers to the action of water movement, saturated hydraulic conductivity also refers to how water, organic matter, mineral matter, air, and other particles transported by water are absorbed into the soil. Texture, structure and porosity are three variables that can have an impact on saturated hydraulic conductivity requirements. This study examines saturated hydraulic conductivity on forest land use, secondary crops on Andisols and Entisols in Seulimeum District, Aceh Besar District. According to the study findings, the value of saturated hydraulic conductivity in the field is relatively low and moderate.

Abstract

Abstrak. Laju infiltrasi adalah banyaknya air yang masuk ke dalam tanah melalui permukaan tanah per satuan waktu pada kondisi tanah tertentu. Laju infiltrasi dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa sifat tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun kelapa sawit Desa Sukatani, Kecamatan Juli, Kabupaten Bireuen yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan laju infiltrasi pada tanaman kelapa sawit yang berumur 5, 10, dan 15 tahun. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan alat Double Ring Infiltrometer pada tanah Ultisols dengan perhitungan menggunakan model Horton. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata laju infiltrasi tanaman kelapa sawit mengalami peningkatan dari 0,1 cm jam-1 atau setara dengan 1 mm jam-1 pada umur 5 tahun menjadi 0,4 cm jam-1 atau setara dengan 4 mm jam-1 pada umur 10 tahun. Bertambahnya umur tanaman kelapa sawit dari 10 ke 15 tahun tidak menunjukkan peningkatan laju infiltrasi yang lebih jauh. Laju infiltrasi dari ketiga kelompok umur tanaman kelapa sawit ini termasuk kedalam kriteria laju infiltrasi lambat, yang mana, hal ini dapat dikaitkan dengan tingginya fraksi liat tanah dan porositas yang kurang baik pada tanah perkebunan sawit ini.Infiltration Rate of Ultisols Under Oil Palm Plantation in Sukatani Village, Juli Sub-District, Bireuen DistrictAbstract. Infiltration rate is the amount of water that enters the soil through the soil surface within a specific period of time under certain soil conditions. Infiltration rate can be influenced by certain soil properties. This research was conducted in an oil palm plantation in Sukatani Village, Juli Sub-District, Bireuen District, which aimed to obtain infiltration rates of soils under oil palm crop that were 5, 10, and 15 years old. This quantitative study employed a Double Ring Infiltrometer that was installed in Ultisols with Horton model used for calculations. The results of this study indicate that the average infiltration rate of oil palm crop increased from 0.1 cm hour-1 or the equivalent of 1 mm hour-1 for 5 year old crop to 0.4 cm hour-1 or the equivalent of 4 mm hour-1 for 10 year old crop. An increase in age of oil palm crop from 10 to 15 years did not yield a further increase in infiltration rate. The infiltration rate of these three oil palm age groups is considered slow which can be attributed to the high clay fraction and poor porosity of the soil in this plantation.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perilaku air (hidrologi) sungai dalam suatu DAS dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan lahan sebagai akibat adanya aktivitas manusia. DAS Krueng Aceh merupakan salah satu DAS yang terdapat di Provinsi Aceh menjadi sumber air utama bagi penduduk Kota Banda Aceh dan Kabupaten Aceh Besar di Provinsi Aceh. Luasan tutupan lahan berupa hutan primer saat ini semakin berkurang luasannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik hidrologi Sub DAS Krueng Jreu dan Krueng Khea di DAS Krueng Aceh dan pengaruhnya dengan perubahan tutupan lahan. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh bahwa limpasan permukaan tertinggi pada Sub DAS Krueng Jreu terjadi sebesar 2.178,3 mm/bulan yaitu pada bulan Januari tahun 2015 dan limpasan terendah terjadi pada bulan Maret tahun 2014 yaitu sebesar 1 mm/bulan. Sedangkan pada Sub DAS Krueng Khea limpasan permukaan terbesar yaitu 204 mm/bulan yang terjadi pada bulan Juli tahun 2015 sedangkan limpasan terkecil sebesar 4,9 mm/bulan yang terjadi pada bulan Agustus  tahun 2018. Tidak terjadi perubahan penutupan lahan yang signifikan pada kedua Sub DAS dari tahun 2014 sampai dengan 2018.Analysis of Hydrological Characteristics of the Krueng Aceh Watershed, Aceh Province (Case Study of the Krueng Jreu and Krueng Khea sub-watersheds)Abstract. The behavior of river water (hydrology) in a watershed is not only influenced by land use as a result of human activities. Krueng Aceh watershed is one of the watersheds in Aceh Province. The watershed is the main water source for residents of Banda Aceh City and Aceh Besar District in Aceh Province. The condition of land cover in the form of primary forest is currently decreasing in area. This study aims to analyze the hydrological characteristics of the Krueng Jreu and Krueng Khea watersheds in the Krueng Aceh watershed and their effect on land cover changes. From the results of data processing, it was found that the highest surface runoff in the Krueng Jreu watershed occurred at 2,178.3 mm/month in January 2015 and the lowest runoff occurred in March 2014 at 1 mm/month. While in the Krueng Khea Sub-watershed the largest surface runoff was 204 mm/month which occurred in July 2015 while the smallest runoff was 4.9 mm/month which occurred in August 2018. There was no significant change in land cover in the two sub-watersheds from 2014 to 2018.

Abstract

Prediction of Erosion in the Coffee Plantation in Subdistrict of Permata, District of Bener Meriah, Province of AcehAbstract. This study aimed to determine the level of erosion that occurred on the slopes of plantation of coffee community in sub-district of Permata, district of Bener Meriah, Province of Aceh, conducted from January to August 2011. Coffee plantations of community were located in sub-district of Permata as samples, particularly in the village of Jungke which had 8 percent slope and the village of Seni Antara which had 30 percent slope. This study was conducted by field observation and laboratory analysis to predict the values of erosion using the method of USLE (universal soil loss equation). Further Erosion Hazard Level (TBE) was determined by considering the effective depth of soil. The results showed that the value of the actual erosion that occurred in the coffee plantation of community in the village of Seni Antara which had 30 percent slope at 87,711.47 tones ha-1 year-1 greater than the actual value of erosion in the village Jungke which only 8 percent slopes at 21.79 tones ha-1 year-1. Erosion Hazard Rate on slopes of 30 percent (village of Seni Antara) classified as very heavy, while TBE at 8 percent slope (Village of Jungke) as light. The main factors that affected the value of erosion were the value of LS (long and large slope) and the value of K (erodibility). To prevent erosion on coffee plantations advised people to be able to add shade trees, use of litter and planting cover crops.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengevaluasi kesesuaian alokasi ruang RTRW Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012- 2031 dengan alokasi penetapan kawasan hutan Kabupaten Aceh Barat berdasarkan SK Menhutbun No. 170/Kpts- II/2000, dan (2) mengevaluasi penyimpangan penggunaan lahan eksisting Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012 dengan RTRW Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012-2031 dan (3) membahas secara umum penyebab dari penyimpangan penggunaan lahan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret 2012 hingga Februari 2013 di Kabupaten Aceh Barat dan di Laboratorium Penginderaan Jauh dan Kartografi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan berbagai data sekunder dan primer yang diperlukan dan analisis tumpang tindih peta (overlay) serta cek lapangan (ground check) penggunaan lahan terkini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi penyimpangan alokasi ruang RTRW Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012-2031 terhadap kawasan hutan Kabupaten Aceh Barat yang ditetapkan dalam SK Menhutbun No. 170/Kpts- II/2000 seluas 6.663,45 ha (2,41%). Penggunaan lahan eksisting Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012 juga menunjukkan terjadi penyimpangan terhadap alokasi ruang RTRW Kabupaten Aceh Barat tahun 2012-2031 yaitu seluas 25.319,21 ha (9,16%). Secara umum faktor penyebab terjadinya penyimpangan penggunaan lahan adalah pemekaran kabupaten/kota, pengembangan infrastruktur wilayah, pengembangan usaha perkebunan dan pertambangan. Penyimpangan penggunaan lahan tersebut berdampak kepada semakin luasnya deforestasi, meningkatnya koefisien limpasan dan frekuensi banjir.Deviation of Land Use Based on Spatial Planning of West Aceh DistrictAbstract. This study aimed to: (1) evaluate the suitability of spatial allocation of space in West Aceh district from 2012 to 2031 with the allocation of forest establishment of West Aceh by Decree of Menhutbun No. 170/Kpts-II/2000, (2) evaluate the deviation of the existing land use of West Aceh district in 2012 with the Spatial West Aceh district of 2012-2031, and (3) discuss generally the cause of the deviation and the impact of land use. This study was conducted from March 2012 to February 2013 in the West Aceh district, and at the Laboratory of Remote Sensing and Cartography, Faculty of Agriculture, Kuala University. This research used descriptive method by collecting a variety of secondary and primary data necessary, analysis of overlap maps and ground check for evaluating the current land use. The results showed deviations spatial space allocation of West Aceh District of 2012-2031 to West Aceh forests set out by Decree of Menhutbun No.170/Kpts-II/2000 was 6,663.45 Ha (2.41%). Furthermore, the deviation of existing land use of West Aceh district in 2012 to the spatial allocation of the West Aceh district of 2012-2031 was 25,319.21 Ha (9.16%). In general, the causes of deviation were the division of districts, development of region infrastructure, plantation and mining development. The land use deviations would affect the extent of deforestation, the increasing of runoff coefficients and frequency of floods.

Abstract

Abstrak. Dampak perubahan alih fungsi lahan merupakan kejadian di alam yang perlu dipahami untuk menentukan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan di waktu yang akan datang. Strategi pengelolaan DAS masih membutuhkan suatu inovasi pendekatan hidrologi dan lahan untuk memperbaiki situasi DAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja  Sub DAS Krueng Jreu Berdasarkan Permenhut P.61 tahun 2014 tahun tentang Monitoring dan Evaluasi Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai yang mencakup karakteristik Lahan dan karakteristik hidrologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persentase lahan kritis yaitu 2,37% (0,023723 ha), Persentase persentase penutupan vegetasi yaitu 78,61% (18250,64) ha, Indeks Erosi sebesar 0,60, Koefisisien Rejim Aliran (KRA) sebesar 26,62  Koefisien Aliran Tahunan (KAT) didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,056, Muatan Sedimen didapatkan hasil 5,02 ton/ha/tahun, frekuensi banjir adalah 1 kali dalam kurun waktu lima tahun, Indeks Penggunaan Air sebesar 22917,30  m3/thn termasuk dalam kelas sangat baik (0,5). Berdasarkan hasil  skoring 8 Sub kriteria  evaluasi kinerja Sub DAS Krueng Jreu yang meliputi Penggunaan Lahan dan Tata Air maka didapatkan hasil akhir senilai 37,75 dengan katagori sangat baik yang berarti kondisi DAS dalam keadaan sangat baik jika di lihat dari penggunaan lahan dan tata air.Performance Evaluation of Krueng Jreu Sub-watershed, Aceh Besar DistrictAbstract. The impact of changes and land-use changes caused is an event in nature that needs to be understood to determine the actions that need to be taken in the future. The watershed management strategy still requires innovation to improve the watershed situation. This study aims to determine the performance of the Krueng Jreu sub-watershed based on the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry P.61 of 2014 concerning Monitoring and Evaluation of Watersheds which includes hydrological characteristics and characteristics. The results showed that critical land was 2.37% (0.023723 ha), the percentage of vegetation cover percentage was 78.61% (18250.64) ha, the Erosion Index was 0.60, the Flow Regime Coefficient (KRA) was 26.62 The Annual Flow Coefficient (KAT) yields 0.056, Sediment Load yields 5.02 tons/ha/year, the frequency of flooding is 1 time within five years, the Water Use Index is 22917.30 m3/yr included in the very good class. (0.5). Based on the scoring of 8 Sub Criteria for evaluating the performance of the Krueng Jreu Watershed which includes Land Use and Water Management, the final result is 37.75 with a very good category which means the watershed condition is in very good condition when viewed from land use and water management.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rehabilitasi lahan dan hutan (RHL) terhadap nilai koefisien aliran tahunan (KAT) di sub-DAS Krueng Meulesong. Pelaksanaan RHL di Desa Riting Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar yang termasuk dalam DAS Krueng Meuleusong dikategorikan tidak berhasil berdasarkan citra satelit perubahan tata guna lahan tahun 2009, 2014, 2017 dan 2019. Hasil interpretasi citra satelit menunjukkan penurunan luasan hutan sekunder, namun luas perdu dan sabana meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan RHL tidak berpengaruh terhadap perubahan penggunaan lahan menjadi hutan sekunder dan kegiatan RHL tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai koefisien aliran tahunan (KAT) di Sub-DAS Krueng Meuleusong.Evaluation Of The Effect Of Land And Forest Rehabilitation On Annual Flow Coefficient In Krueng Meuleusong Sub-WatershedAbstract. This study aims to determine the effect of land and forest rehabilitation (RHL) on the value of the annual flow coefficient (KAT) in the Krueng Meulesong sub-watershed. The implementation of RHL in Riting Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar District which is included in the water catchment area of the Krueng Meuleusong sub-watershed is categorized as unsuccessful based on satellite imagery of 2009, 2014, 2017 and, 2019 of land-use change. The results of satellite imagery interpretation showed a decrease in the area of secondary forest, but shrubs and savanna area had increased. Based on the results of the correlation test, shows that the implementation of RHL activities has no effect on changes in land use to secondary forests and RHL activities have no effect on the value of annual flow coefficient (KAT) in the Krueng Krueng Meuleusong sub-watershed.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the area and distribution of land cover in the last 10 years in the Krueng Aceh and evaluate the alignment between the regional spatial plan (RTRW) and the land cover in the Krueng Aceh watershed. The results of the analysis were obtained through digital image processing derived from Landsat 7 ETM 2009 and Landsat 8 OLI 2020. This study shows that land cover in the form of primary forest has changed from 2009 to 2020, wherein 2009 primary forest cover had an area of 60,245.62 ha or 34.11% of the entire area while in 2020 it was reduced to 48,512.00 ha or 27.47% of the entire area. And Based on the results of the evaluation of the consistency of land closure conditions in the Krueng Aceh watershed against the Aceh Provincial RTRW, 98.40% of the area of the Krueng Aceh watershed obtained land cover consistent with the RTRW. But Based on the results of the Evaluation of the Consistency of Area Status in the Krueng Aceh River Basin against the Aceh Province RTRW, it was found that an area of 176,301.71 ha or equal to 99.99 % of the area of the Krueng Aceh River Basin, the status of the Area was consistent with the RTRW.
