Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The purpose of the study is to explore the effects of charismatic leadership teachers in fostering the quality of graduates. Background Problems: Not all teachers establish a close relationship and have an appeal that can affect the learners in the form of thoughts, feelings and behavior in the form of new characters and have the competencies required for entrenched in daily life. Novelty: The importance of developing a closeness teachers and learners emotionally so that the effect on the formation of character and competence of the learners can be achieved. Research Methods: The method used is literature study by analyzing the various articles related to the focus of the research. Data collection use documentation study with the analysis of the data through the data collection, data reduction, and conclusion making. Finding/Results: The results of the study (1) the effect of charismatic leadership can develop a sense of trust and a strong bond between students and teachers without terms for shaping the character of the new positive to be better, (2) learners with a vengeance because of his loyalty dare to do the formation of behavior and increase the competence for the needs of his life in the present and future, (3) motivate learners to have the ideals that are higher and greater ability to achieve these ideals. Conclusion: Teachers who have integrity, hard work, respect and accountability will be emulated by the students as the effect of charismatic leadership.

Abstract

This article discusses the religious thought of Kiai Abbas Abdul Jamil related to manhaj in doing da'wah and social approach and solutions to problems in the community. Literature that discusses the figure of Kiai Abbas Abdul Jamil Buntet, more about the side of his struggle and heroism, this study aims to explain the other side of Kiai Abbas Abdul Jamil related to religious thought and its approach to society. In discussing the idea of Kiai Abbas Abdul Jamil, researchers use a qualitative approach, data obtained through interviews with families and students/alumni about daily life and how to educate students. The Data were analyzed with the literature related to it. The results of this study include that the approach to the community conducted by Kiai Abbas Abdul Jamil in carrying out his missionary mission is through the system of Shari'ah, namely by applying qawā’id fiqhiyyah and cultural approaches and habits of society. The conclusion is that the problems in society require resolution in the right direction; kiai Abdul Jamil intelligently uses analytical skills qawā’id fiqhiyyah and the socio-cultural approach as manhaj in his preaching.

Abstract

The purpose of this article examines the advantages of understanding the spirit of progressive Islam, compliance with organizational policies related to social welfare. The research is carried out at SDIT Muhammadiyah Cirebon. The subjects of this study were the principal, 15 Educators, and 5 Education Personnel. This research uses qualitative which uses instruments in form of interviews, observations, and documentation, also strengthened quantitatively by questionnaires. The approach used is cultural interpretation. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to describe the general state, and the data obtained from the questionnaire will be analyzed statistically descriptively. The results showed that organizational policies are based on the spirit of progressive Islam, and the policy of SDIT Muhammadiyah’s principal through transforming, habituating, as well as forming values. Another finding is that the educators at SDIT Muhammadiyah are socially and financially prosperous. It can be concluded that education personnel have prospered socially in addition to compliance with the principal’s policies, also because the progressive Islam principles’ understanding.Keywords: Progressive Islam; Organizational Policy; Social Welfare; Muhammadiyah

Abstract

The determinants of student achievement in schools are widely studied, including factors at school. Research on principal leadership, teacher performance, and student success has been carried out by many other researchers with varied results. This study aims to explain these two factors on student achievement based on teacher and student assessments. The research method used is quantitative through survey techniques. Statistical analysis used is non-parametric statistic Mean-Withney test. This research compared perceptions of teachers and students, male and female, from two school institutions. The comparison results show that both teachers and students agree that the principal has an effect on student achievement (U = 364,000; p = 0.229). In addition, teachers and students agreed that teacher support affected student achievement (U = 369,000; p = 0.266). These results indicate that both students and teachers see a relationship between the leadership role of school principals and teacher performance with student success. These findings can contribute to the development of psychology and education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik kelas I di SDN Sindangkempeng, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan melalui media papan pintar terhadap peserta didik kelas I SDN Sindangkempeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model spiral Kemmis & MC Taggart, langkahnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas I SDN Sindangkempeng yang berjumlah 16 peserta didik, penelitian dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik di kelas I SDN Sindangkempeng. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca peserta didik yang tuntas pada siklus I 37,5%. Pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan sebesar 87,5%. Peningkatan hasil keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik pada siklus II sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan lebih dari 75% yaitu menjadi 87,5% sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan yang peneliti tetapkan, maka peneliti mencukupkan penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas IV SDN II Perbutulan yang dikategorikan masih rendah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN II Perbutulan dengan menggunakan metode reward and punishment. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan dengan model Kurt Lewin, langkahnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini peserta didik kelas IV SDN II Perbutulan yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik, penelitian dilaksanakan 2 siklus. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IV SDN II Perbutulan. Bagaimana proses penggunaan metode reward and punishment di kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa : hasil belajar peserta didik yang tuntas maupun tidak tuntas dapat dilihat dari hasil data awal 15% 5 peserta didik yang tuntas, siklus I pertemuan 1 23% 8 peserta didik yang tuntas, siklus I pertemuan II 50% 15 peserta didik yang tuntas, siklus II pertemuan 1 75% 24 peserta didik yang tuntas, siklus II pertemuan II 80% peserta didik yang tuntas. Indikator keberhasilan yang peneliti tetapkan sudah tuntas, maka peneliti mencukupkan penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus II. Hal ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik melalui metode reward and punishment.

Abstract

Membaca adalah keterampilan yang paling dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh seseorang. Minat adalah kesukaan atau kegemaran terhadap sesuatu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Pasindangan bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat membaca siswa di SD Negeri 1 Pasindangan, faktor yang mempengaruhi minat baca siswa serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mana mengambarkan kondisi minat membaca siswa di SD Negeri 1 Pasindangan. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas III dan IV di SD Negeri 1 Pasindangan berjumlah 56 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik wawancara dan lembar kuisioner/ angket. Setelah di analisis melalui lembar angket yang diisi oleh siswa serta wawancara guru dan orang tua bahwa siswa kelas 4 cenderung memiliki minat baca yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas 3, terutama dalam aspek perasaan senang, keterlibatan emosional, dan motivasi membaca. Guru memainkan peran penting sebagai kreator, fasilitator, dan motivator dalam menciptakan lingkungan membaca yang menarik dan mendukung. Selain itu, peran orang tua dalam memberikan dukungan emosional, instrumental, informasi, dan penghargaan juga terbukti signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the managerial role of leaders of pesantren-based rehabilitation institutions in tackling juvenile delinquency in Pondok Bukit Mahabbah Darul Adni majalengka, and its impact on the character and mental development of students. This research was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis using qualitative case study methods. A thematic analysis approach was applied to identify key themes from the data collected over the six-month research period. The results of this study show that institutional leaders have successfully carried out managerial roles in tackling juvenile delinquency originating from various regions in Indonesia, which is reflected. This is reflected in the interpersonal role of the leader of the institution, the informational role and the decisional role performed by the leader of the institution in carrying out its institutional management. This research opens up opportunities for further study on juvenile delinquency handling in other educational institutions and broadens the scope of research on the managerial role of agency leaders in tackling juvenile delinquency
