Abstract

Salah satu indikator penting untuk mengetahui kondisi perekonomian suatu daerah dalam suatu periode tertentu adalah data Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) baik atas dasar harga berlaku maupun atas dasar harga konstan. Nilai PDRB suatu wilayah dapat memberikan informasi tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi maupun tingkat kemakmuran masyarakat terhadap wilayah tersebut. Semakin tinggi PDRB suatu wilayah maka dapat dikatakan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonominya juga tinggi atau tingkat kemakmuran masyarakatnya juga baik.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to obtain the best dose of clove extract anesthetic in the transportation of carp (Cyprinus carpio) from suppliers to consumers in the supply chain of carp. Alive, healthy, and not defective carp from the Fish Seed Center with 3-5 cm size were used as objects in this study. Carp fish bag and 50 x 35 x 30 cm Styrofoam boxes were used as containers which were placed randomly during the delivery of carp. The study was conducted with four treatments of different clove extract levels, treatment A as a control (0 ppm), B (3.3 ppm), C (6.7 ppm), and D (10 ppm), with three replications each. The examination of the anesthetic condition of carp was carried out four times during transportation, at 0, 6, 12, and 24 hours. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was conducted to see the impact of the treatments, and then the Tukey test was carried out to see the differences between treatments. The analysis was carried out using SPSS version 21. The results showed that increasing the anesthetic dose of clove extract impacted the health condition and survival rate of the carp seedlings during transportation. The highest survival rate (85%) was achieved at a concentration of 6.7 ppm.Keywords: anesthesia dosage, clove extract, carp, the survival rateĀ Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis anestesi ekstrak cengkeh terbaik dalam pengangkutan ikan karper (Cyprinus carpio) dari pemasok ke konsumen dalam rantai pasok ikan karper. Ikan karper yang digunakan sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini adalah ikan karper dari Balai Benih Ikan dengan ukuran 3-5 cm, dalam keadaan hidup, sehat, dan tidak cacat. Kantong ikan karper dan Styrofoam berukuran 50 x 35 x 30 cm digunakan sebagai wadah selama pengiriman ikan karper dan penempatannya dilakukan secara acak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 4 perlakuan kadar ekstrak cengkeh yang berbeda, yaitu A sebagai kontrol (0 ppm), B (3,3 ppm), C (6,7 ppm), dan D (10 ppm) dengan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Pemeriksaan kondisi anestesi pada ikan karper dilakukan 4 kali selama pengangkutan, yaitu 0, 6, 12, dan 24 jam. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dilakukan untuk melihat dampak dari perlakuan kemudian uji Tukey dilakukan untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan. Analisis dilakukan dengan SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan dosis anestesi ekstrak cengkeh berdampak pada keadaan kesehatan dan sintasan ikan karper saat transportasi. Abstract

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) farming in Pinrang Regency faces various challenges, including high mortality rates, slow growth, and attacks by various diseases, which are largely caused by poor water quality. This study aims to assess the potential of using green mussels (Perna viridis) as a biofilter to improve water quality and, in turn, enhance shrimp farming productivity. The research was conducted in Suppa District, using shrimp ponds managed with a traditional system and equipped with water reservoirs. Green mussels were used in the biofiltration system to improve water quality. The results showed that the use of green mussels significantly reduced the concentration of heavy metals such as mercury (Hg), copper (Cu), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and zinc (Zn) in the pond water. This improvement in water quality contributed to an increase in shrimp production to 582 kg/ha, a significant rise compared to the previous production level of 250 kg/ha and the national average of 500 kg/ha. The biofiltration process by green mussels helped reduce pollutants and created a healthier environment for shrimp growth. These findings suggest that using green mussels as a biofilter can effectively improve water quality and Vannamei shrimp farming productivity, while providing an environmentally friendly solution to enhance production yields in the shrimp farming industry in the region.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan nelayan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi penangkapan ikan dan pemasaran digital. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok nelayan Kessiputeh meliputi kurangnya penggunaan alat bantu penangkapan ikan dan strategi pemasaran yang masih konvensional (langsung dijual di laut). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu: sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan alat bantu seperti GPS Fish Finder, Sky Drone, Underwater Drone, Fish Track, DO Meter, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan platform e-commerce. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa melalui program MBKM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pendapatan nelayan sebesar 30-40%, peningkatan efisiensi operasional sebesar 15-20%. Pengurangan biaya operasional jangka panjang, serta menurunnya risiko kecelakaan laut. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemandirian nelayan dan menjadi langkah awal menuju mitra binaan kampus secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Produktivitas rumput laut dapat ditingkatkan dengan metode budidaya berkelanjutan yang tepat guna dan ramah lingkungan dalam penerapannya. Percobaan menggunakan bentangan jaring bundar adalah modifikasi dari metode longline dengan bentangan tali dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi, melindungi dari serangan hama dan thallus yang patah akibat arus, serta meminimalisir waktu dan biaya produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan produksi rumput laut dengan metode longline menggunakan bentangan tali dan bentangan jaring bundar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen di lapangan dan wawancara pelaku usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan modifikasi bentangan jaring bundar pada penelitian ini kurang efektif untuk digunakan dalam budidaya rumput laut jenis Eucheuma spinosum. Meskipun terlihat mengalami pertumbuhan, akan tetapi, produksi dengan bentangan tali lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan bentangan jaring bundar. Rekomendasi untuk penggunaan modifikasi jaring bundar dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan ukuran mesh-size jaring dan mencoba jenis jaring lain yang tidak mudah terserang hama. Hal lain yang perlu diperhatikan adalah musim tanam dan kedalaman bentangan agar rumput laut tetap mendapatkan cahaya dan suplai nutrisi yang tercukupi untuk pertumbuhan.

Abstract

This research was conducted from November to December 2023 at the Production Centre of Pangkajene Fish Seed Institute, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the ratio of male and female broodstock on tilapia seed production, and to determine the ratio of male and female broodstock that produce the most seed production. The design used was a completely randomised design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The data obtained were presented in the form of graphs and tables. The effect of treatment was analysed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey's test. The results of the analysis showed that the ratio of male to female broodstock had a significant effect on tilapia fry production (P < 0.05) Sig = 0.034. The highest seed production was found in treatment C (1 male: 4 females) with an average production of 71,000 seeds. Treatment B (1 male: 3 females), 51,000 seeds, treatment D (1 male: 5 females), 34,000 seeds and treatment A (1 male: 1 female) with an average production of 21,000 seeds. It can be concluded that the ratio of male to female broodstock has a significant effect on the production of nila fish fry (Oreochromis niloticus). The highest fry production was obtained in the ratio 1 male; 4 females.Keywords: Broodstock; Production; Ratio; Seed; Tilapia
