Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan resensi dari buku yang berjudul “Studi Sejarah dan Budaya Lombok”. Secara umum buku ini mencoba menjelaska tentang budaya masyarakat Sasak-Lombok. Masyarakat Sasak dijelaskan dalam perspektif budayanya dan menunjukkan bahwa budaya pada masyarakat Sasak masih terjaga dengan baik. Perlu menjadi catatan dalam buku ini adalah kepustakaan yang menjadi acuan. Artinya, kepustakaan yang digunakan belum begitu menunjukkan kualitas yang sesungguhnya.Kata Kunci: Studi Sejarah, Budaya Lombok

Abstract

Masyarakat Sasak-Lombok dengan segala keunikan budayanya memiliki nilai-nilai tersendiri baik yang berkembang dalam ranah internal maupun merupakan hasil akulturasi dari etnis lain. Beberapa nilai goyongroyong yang berkembang pada masyarakat Sasak seperti banjar dan besiru juga dikenal pada masyarakat Bali namun memiliki warna dan ciri khas sesuai dengan masyarakat Sasak-Lombok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banjar dan besiru baik pada masa lalu maupun saat ini di pedesaan masih memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam menciptakan nilai-nilai kebersamaan yang khas. Tentu saja dalam perkembangannya saat ini sudah banyak terjadi perubahan, salah satunya disebabkan oleh pandangan masyarakat yang dipengaruhi baik oleh perkembangan ekonomi, pekerjaan, sistem sosial, dan lain sebagainya, namun hal ini penting untuk dimunculkan sebagai bagian dari khasanah budaya masyarakat yang baik untuk mendeskripsikan keunggulan mereka dalam menjalankan kerjasama baik pada masa lalunya maupun saat ini.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal adalah bagian dari kearifan bangsa yang dapat menjadi landasan pendidikan karakter. Kearifan lokal masyarakat Sasak Lombok yang sudah mengakar dalam sejarah suku bangsanya memiliki nilai universal, sehingga proses engkulturasi perlu dilakukan pada masyarakat mulai dari sekolah dasar sampai pendidikan karakter orang dewasa. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pentingnya kearifan lokal (local wisdom) sebagai landasan dari pendidikan karakter tersebut, sekaligus menawarkan pemahaman konsep dan praktik bagaimana seharusnya pendidikan karakter yang berakar pada budaya lokal tersebut diimplementasikan dalam dunia pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Sejarah Lokal, Kearifan Lokal, Pendidikan Karakter.

Abstract

This study deals with the dynamics of the struggle of the Muslims to achieve independence both de jure and de facto since the Japanese occupation until after the independence revolution. The method used is historical methods ranging from heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The documents used range from books, printed and online journal articles. The results of the study show that there are several criteria for the struggle of Muslim believers in Indonesia, namely: first, political struggle. In this case Islamic organizations and Islamic leaders sought to obtain such independence by means of constitutions and organizations that were legalized by the Dutch, such as MIAI which was replaced with Masyumi, social-religious organizations such as Muhammadiyah, NU, Persis and others. Meanwhile in the independence preparation institutions they participated as members of the BPUPKI and formulated the basis for an independent Indonesia. Second, the struggle for state ideology. In this case the Muslims fight for the foundation of the state is Islamic law, and they are not dealing with the Japanese but the national group. The difference between them revolves around the separation of religion from the country which is fought by national groups, whereas Islamic groups fight for Islam as the basis of the state. Third, resistance with rebuke, for example, the Japanese act of implementing the seikere tradition was not only opposed by the NU, but also other Islamic leaders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of media in the history of learning that not only uses digital in accordance with current developments with era 4.0, but also how a teacher is able to bridge the past by presenting artifacts, relics, images, even miniatures of the past for easier understood. The existence of a laboratory or museum in this case can be a direct bridge to connect what they have learned with their empirical reality in the past. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method with several methods of data collection ranging from interviews, observations, document studies and documentation. The results showed that students involved as totor who were assigned to explain each period with some media available at the Hamzanwadi University history education laboratory showed many developments starting from the ability to understand the historical context at a certain period and their ability to explain to the public or students who normally visit the laboratory. One interesting approach that Hamzanwadi University's history education program has tried to develop in recent years is to make students as tutors to explain to students who visit the history education laboratory. Students who are assigned are randomized every semester in turn, so that each of them truly understands each historical object as assigned.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan metode Pembelajaran Sejarah berbasis Budaya Maritim untuk siswa SMA. Produk ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia di bidang Kelautan. Penelilitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Langkah penelitian pengembangan meliputi : 1) studi pendahuluan; 2) pengembangan desain metode dan bahan ajar, 3) Validasi Produk. Penelitian  menghasilkan produk bahan Ajar Sejarah berbasis Budaya Maritim. Data yang dihasilkan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Rambu-rambu dalam analisis data hingga menghasilkan kesimpulan merujuk metode Huberman yakni kegiatan reduksi, display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa SMA Kota Selong mengalami kesulitan menjelaskan materi ajar Sejarah yang berhubungan dengan Sejarah dan budaya maritim. Guru belum mampu menyampaikan materi ajar secara integral antara materi Sejarah dengan dunia kemaritiman Indonesia termasuk dengan budaya maritim Pulau Lombok. Kondisi ini berpengaruh pada rendahnya wawasan siswa terhadap budaya maritim yang berdampak pada rendahnya minat kebaharian siswa pada hal Indonesia dan Pulau Lombok adalah wilayah maritim yang sangat potensial dalam bidang perdagangan, pariwisata dan perikanan.Bahan ajar Sejarah yang berbasis Budaya maritim belum ada di sekolah sehingga Guru dan siswa mengharapkan adanya Metode pembelajaran dan bahan ajar Sejarah berbasis Budaya Maritim. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Metode pembelajaran dan bahan ajar Sejarah berbasis budaya Maritim dan menunjukkan metode pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang dirancang tergolong sangat baik dan relevan dalam pembelajaran sejarah. DOI: 10.29408/fhs.v3i2.2147

Abstract

This study presents another uniqueness of the Sasak people of Lombok, NTB, especially with regard to the picture of religious-magical beliefs that are still attached to this day. One of the aims of this research is to provide an overview of the variety of Indonesian culture that differs from region to region. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. The results showed that in the Sasak community in particular and in Jerowaru District in particular, the spatial aspect of this study showed that the community still had magical religious beliefs which were believed in almost all areas of life, starting from farming, when building buildings, determining good days and so on.

Abstract

The struggle of the Indonesian people to achieve independence from the colonialists is as old as colonialism itself. The struggle for independence had at least begun since the establishment of the late 19th century as a chain of struggle for the people in various regions in the archipelago. The struggle of the people of East Lombok in opposing colonialism is a historical record that complements the history of the national struggle of the Indonesian nation and does not have any meaning for the national struggle of the nation. This struggle is also a very strong bond to reach the culmination point of the struggle, namely the Proclamation of Independence on August 17, 1945, as well as efforts to defend Indonesia's independence until 1950. This study has a fundamental contribution in understanding historical information related to nationalism and the spirit of struggle for warriors in East Lombok. History, in this case the revolution in East Lombok in 1945-1949, has a dedactic value for the current and future generations of the nation. The educational value that can be learned from these historical events is at least that the nation's generation has mental strength both biologically and psychologically in facing all the challenges of life and has a high sense of nationalism as part of Indonesian society that must uphold the name of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Tradisi bebubus atau bubus adalah salah satu bentuk pengobatan tradisional yang tumbuh sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda yang masuk di Pulau Lombok lewat Ampenan. Pada saat itu juga kerajaan Bali sedang mengalami keruntuhan akibat datangnya Belanda di Pulau Lombok, sehingga masyarakat Desa Gelanggang diam-diam melakukan pengobatan tradisonal berupa bebubus untuk menyembuhkan orang-orang yang sakit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi bebubus merupakan tradisi suku Sasak yang sudah mengakar kuat dalam kehidupann sosial budaya masyarakat Lombok. Pelaksanaan pengobatan bebubus sebagai pengobatan tradisional yang dilakukan masyarakat Kelurahan Gelanggang sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda yang masuk di Pulau Lombok melalui Ampenan. Pada saat itu juga Kerajaan Bali runtuh dengan datangnya Belanda di Pulau Lombok. Masyarakat Gelanggang diam-diam melakukan pengobatan bebubus untuk menyembuhkan orang-orang yang sakit. Tradisi bebubus ini juga merupakan peninggalan orang-orang terdahulu yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun. Kata Kunci: Tradisi, Bebubus, Pengobatan Tradisional.                                        AbstractThe tradition of bebubus or bubus is a form of traditional medicine that has grown since the Dutch colonial era, which entered the island of Lombok through Ampenan. At that time the kingdom of Bali was also experiencing a collapse due to the arrival of the Dutch on the island of Lombok, so the people of Gelanggang Village secretly carried out traditional medicine in the form of bebubus to cure sick people. This research uses the historical method. The results of the study indicate that the bebubus tradition is a Sasak tribe tradition that is deeply rooted in the socio-cultural life of the Lombok people. The implementation of bebubus treatment as a traditional medicine has been carried out by the people of the Gelanggang Village since the Dutch colonial era who entered the island of Lombok through Ampenan. At that time the Kingdom of Bali collapsed with the arrival of the Dutch on the island of Lombok. The community of Gelanggang secretly performs bebubus treatment to cure sick people. Abstract

This research aims to uncover and analyze the form of socialstratification in sasak noble people in Jerowaru Sub-District of East Lombok Regency-NTB between the 1970s and 2000s. The research approach used is qualitative research with historical methods where in addition to obtaining the source of documents as well as using oral sources to be able to perform reconstruction. The results showed that before the 1970s the existence of social stratification in the community in Jerowaru Village in particular had quite high differences both from aspects of language, customary clothing, marriage system and others.  Sehas in the 1970s has shown a change, this is not separated from the influence and existenceof pesantran hut established by one of the famous religious figures in Lombok namely Tuan Guru Mutawalli, and at the same time some fundamental changes caused by intenal aspects. One interesting thing about the cultural history of the existence of nobles in the period between 1970-2000 is that there was a very rapid change, because some other studies showed that the change in the form of social stratification elsewhere, especially the nobles showed a changethat was not very significant.
