Abstract

This study uses the library research qualitative method to examine the effectiveness of economic incentives in encouraging the conservation of natural resources (SDA) as well as mitigating environmental damage in a sustainable manner. The background of this study is driven by the increasing environmental degradation due to uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources, which is often oriented towards short-term profits without regard for ecological sustainability and community welfare. In this context, economic incentives are seen as a strategic policy instrument that is able to influence the behavior of business actors and society towards a more environmentally friendly and socially responsible activity pattern. Various forms of economic incentives were discussed including green subsidies, environmental taxes, payment for environmental services (PES) schemes, and ecolabel certification. These instruments are considered to be able to internalize the external costs of environmental damage into economic calculations, thereby providing pressure and motivation for business actors to implement more sustainable and innovative practices. Based on a review of academic literature, scientific journals, as well as national and international policies, it was found that the implementation of economic incentives has proven to be effective in increasing environmental awareness and encouraging green innovation significantly. However, the effectiveness of its implementation is highly dependent on the quality of policy governance, the level of transparency, regulatory clarity, and the active involvement of local communities. Without adequate oversight, incentives have the potential to be abused or not achieve their intended goals. Therefore, the design of economic incentive policies must be fair, measurable, and prepared with a participatory approach and based on empirical data. This study concludes that economic incentives not only function as a financial mechanism, but also as an instrument of behavior change, economic culture, and environmental innovation towards sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct the Islamic macroeconomic paradigm by focusing on fiscal policy and responses to resource scarcity. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature review, the study reveals that fiscal policy in Islam functions not only as a tool for economic stabilization but also as an instrument for equitable distribution and sustainable resource management. Historical analysis of fiscal practices during the Prophet Muhammad's era illustrates a zakat-, kharaj-, and fai-based system managed transparently and justly through baitul mal. In the modern context, challenges such as inequality, resource exploitation, and energy crises require a new approach grounded in maqashid shariah as the foundation of macroeconomic planning. Therefore, reconstructing Islamic macroeconomics is essential to establishing a just, sustainable, and spiritually rooted economic system.

Abstract

This article analyzes the role of government policy in supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia. Crowdfunding is increasingly being seen as an innovative and accessible funding alternative, especially for MSMEs facing capital constraints. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method by reviewing government policies and regulatory frameworks as well as existing crowdfunding practices. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of crowdfunding for MSMEs relies on policy clarity, digital literacy, and synergy between the government, platform providers, and business actors. The study emphasizes the importance of a sharia-compliant funding framework to enhance trust and participation, particularly given the regulatory gaps and the dominance of non-sharia platforms. This research underscores the necessity of adaptive government policies, targeted digital literacy programs (especially in regions like North Sumatra/Medan), and the formalization of sharia crowdfunding models to achieve financial inclusion and sustainable economic empowerment for MSMEs

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is one of the implementations of the university’s tridharma focused on community engagement, aiming to improve welfare and economic empowerment in rural areas. This study aims to analyze the role of the KKN program in enhancing Islamic economic literacy among small business owners in Pahang Village, Talawi District. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using a participatory approach, involving KKN students, small entrepreneurs, and village officials as key informants. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation of activities. The results show that socialization, Islamic financial training, and business mentoring activities successfully improved participants’ understanding of Islamic economic principles such as honesty, justice, and the prohibition of usury. Moreover, the KKN program encouraged entrepreneurs to apply sharia-compliant transactions and develop sustainable financial management practices. Therefore, the KKN program has a significant contribution to strengthening Islamic economic literacy and fostering a small-business ecosystem rooted in Islamic values at the village level.
