Abstract

Banjir adalah bencana alam yang sering terjadi di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Salah satu permasalahan yang menyebabkan bencana banjir adalah adanya sumbatan pada saluran air yang menyebabkan air meluap dan menimbulkan genangan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan solusi dengan memberilkan kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan deteksi dini bencana banjir menggunakan deteksi ketinggian air yang diletakkan pada saluran pembuangan air di wilayah Perumahan Jatibening, Bekasi yang mengalami bencana banji diawal tahun 2021. Alat yang dirancang menerapkan teknologi tepat guna dengan memanfaatkan pelampung water level control yang dikoneksikan dengan power supply dan relay sebagai sakelar otomatis. Informasi ketinggian air direpresentasikan menggunakan indicator lampu LED dan jika air sudah meluap maka sirine akan berbunyi untuk memberikan informasi kepada warga sekitar agar dapat segera mengevakuasi barang-barang berharga dan lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini didapatkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat terhadap deteksi bencana banjir meningkat menjadi 98% dan alat deteksi ketinggian air berhasil diterapkan dan ditempatkan di saluran pembuangan air di wilayah perumahan jatibening, bekasi.

Abstract

Teknologi komunikasi 5G membutuhkan antena yang mempunyai performansi tinggi. Antena mikrostrip merupakan salah satu antena yang paling banyak digunakan dalam telekomunikasi karena massanya yang ringan, dimensi nya yang kecil dan mudah dipabrikasi. Penelitian ini merancang antena mikrostrip patch persegi panjang dengan miniaturisasi dan slit pada frekuensi kerja 28 GHz. Penggunaan slit pada patch mampu memperbaiki koefisien refleksi sebesar 39.3%.

Abstract

The 5G technology is a telecommunications innovation that offers incredibly high-speed data transfer. It is expected to outperform its predecessors significantly. In utilizing 5G services, efficient devices are crucial, and solutions like Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems play a key role. MIMO is an antenna system with numerous transmitting and receiving elements, enabling simultaneous transmission and reception. A 26 GHz frequency microstrip antenna is modified using a double U-slot, and the Defected Ground Structure (DGS) method is employed to reduce antenna coupling effects and enhance bandwidth. This antenna features a directional radiation pattern that focuses in a specific direction, thereby increasing efficiency. Prior to optimization, the return loss was at around -14.15 dB, VSWR was approximately 1.49 dB, and bandwidth was 0.65 GHz. After optimization, the return loss improved to between -27.06 and -28.09 dB, signifying performance enhancement. Despite a slight increase in VSWR to 1.08 to 1.09 dB, it remains within acceptable limits. The bandwidth increased to 1.06 to 1.13 GHz. These results indicate that optimization successfully boosted antenna performance, resulting in higher data transfer efficiency. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the telecommunications landscape with faster and more reliable services through advanced 5G networks.

Abstract

Hydrogen is a promising candidate for the future of energy and global economic security owing to its cost-efficient clean and environmentally friendly nature. The utilisation of hydrogen is, however, not without obstacles. Technology maturity and the unattractive market are some of the challenges. Before hydrogen can be used on a large-scale basis, critical technical challenges need to be addressed, such as the economical production and transportation and storage issues. In terms of energy prices, hydrogen is an inexpensive fuel. Ideally, a vehicle run on hydrogen reduces the cost per kilometre with better mileage than that of fuelled with fossil fuel. Electric vehicles run on hydrogen fuel cells, for instance, offer several performance improvements over conventional internal combustion engines. This includes better fuel efficiency and relatively less noise operation, yet one of the important technical challenges is onboard hydrogen storage. In this review article, recent trends in modeling for hydrogen production and utilization are addressed in detail.

Abstract

Sistem komunikasi 5G membutuhkan antena sebagai perangkat penerima yang memiliki kinerja tinggi termasuk bandwidth yang lebar dan gain yang tinggi. Antena mikrostrip mempunyai kelebihan seperti biaya yang murah, cocok untuk frekuensi tinggi dan mudah diintegrasikan dengan perangkat lain. Salah satu kelemahan antena mikrostrip adalah gain yang rendah. Oleh karena itu, antena mikrostrip dengan gain tinggi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung sistem komunikasi 5G. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi dengan mengusulkan antena mikrostrip dengan gain tinggi yang beroperasi pada frekuensi resonansi 3,5 GHz untuk sistem komunikasi 5G. Antena usulan dikembangkan dalam lima tahap dimulai dari satu elemen, susunan seri dua elemen, susunan seri 4 elemen, susunan seri 8 elemen dan susunan seri plannar 8x2 elemen. Teknik susunan seri plannar dan menggunakan spiral stub pada line feed serta slit diusulkan untuk meningkatkan gain antena mikrostrip. Dalam tulisan ini, simulasi dan pengukuran dari antena usulan ditampilkan dan dibandingkan secara komprehensif untuk menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja dari setiap tahap pengembangan model usulan. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, antena yang dirancang memiliki gain maksimum sebesar 13,08 dB pada frekuensi resonansi 3,5 GHz. Gain antena masing-masing meningkat 118 % dibandingkan dengan antena elemen tunggal. Oleh karena itu, antena usulan ini dapat direkomendasikan untuk digunakan sebagai antena penerima sistem komunikasi 5G

Abstract

ABSTRAKMakalah ini mengusulkan antena mikrostrip dengan dengan performansi tinggi yang beroperasi pada frekuensi resonansi 3,5 GHz untuk sistem komunikasi 5G. Antena dikembangkan dalam dengan teknik array planar seri 4x2 elemen yang dikonfigurasi MIMO. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, antena yang dirancang memiliki koefisien refleksi <= -10 dB, koefisien isolasi <= -40 dB dengan rentang frekuensi 3.1 GHz – 3,7 GHz dan gain maksimum sebesar 12,52 dB pada frekuensi resonansi 3,5 GHz. Bandwidth dan penguatan antena masing-masing meningkat sebesar 172.72% dan 160.83 %. Penelitian ini dapat direkomendasikan untuk digunakan sebagai antena penerima sistem komunikasi 5G.Kata kunci: antena, array, mikrostrip, MIMO, planar, 5G ABSTRACTThis article suggests a microstrip antenna with high performance, designed to operate at the resonant frequency of 3.5 GHz in 5G communication systems. The antenna is developed in a MIMO-configured 4x2 element series planar array technique. Based on measurement results, the proposed antenna exhibits a reflection coefficient of <= -10 dB, an isolation coefficient of <= -40 dB, within the frequency range 3.1 – 3.7 GHz and maximum gain of 12.52 dB at the resonant frequency of 3.5 GHz. The antenna's bandwidth and gain enhanced until 172.72% and 160.83%, respectively. Abstract

This document describes an analysis of ICONNET service area segmentation within a VLAN-Based MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) network and its impact on customer satisfaction in the Depok Region. Along with technological advancement, internet usage has become an essential need for both personal and business purposes. PLN ICON Plus, a subsidiary of PT PLN (Persero), develops its business through ICONNET products. However, full traffic on the backbone (BNG), which integrates ICONNET and corporate broadband networks, causes service degradation. To overcome this issue, VLAN-based regional segmentation and separate BNG implementations were introduced in each region. This innovation aims to distinguish backbone and corporate services, reduce congestion, and improve service quality. The analysis results are expected to contribute to network optimization and enhance customer satisfaction.

Abstract

A band-pass filter (BPF) is an essential part of a wireless communication system as it functions to reduce interference and noise. Many structures have been proposed to achieve a high-quality BPF. Typically, these structures utilize vias. However, vias has several drawbacks, including impedance discontinuities, increased resistance values, and complex structures. In this study, we propose a dual-band BPF based on a cascaded closed ring resonator (CCRR) without using vias. Specifically, the proposed structure consists of multiple CCRRs connected at the corner pattern and incorporates capacitive coupling to the input impedance. Additionally, the CCRR configuration has dual sizing to achieve dual-band performance. Subsequently, the proposed BPF is simulated and fabricated using Duroid Rogers RT 5880 with dielectric constant εr = 2.2, dissipation factor tan δ = 0.0009, and thickness h = 1.575 mm. The measurement results demonstrated that the dual-band BPF operated at a resonant frequency of 2.50 GHz with a transmission coefficient (S21) value of -2.18 dB in the first band. In the second band, a resonant frequency of 3.70 GHz was obtained with an S21 value of -1.43 dB. The bandwidth in the first band was 160 MHz, and in the second band, it was 110 MHz. Moreover, based on the measurement results, the reflection coefficient (S11) in the first band was -11.05 dB, while in the second band, it was -23.3 dB. The excellent agreement between the simulation and measurement validates the proposed method.
